Sophia couldn't wait to share the news with Emily. She arrived at Emily's house, barely containing her excitement.
"Emily, you won't believe what just happened," Sophia said, bursting through the door.
Emily looked up from her book, curious. "What is it?"
Sophia took a deep breath. "My mom finally agreed to accept us. She's willing to meet with your family to discuss our future."
Emily's jaw dropped. "What? That's amazing!"
Sophia nodded, grinning. "I know, right? I'm still in shock."
Emily jumped up from the couch, pulling Sophia into a tight hug. "This is incredible news. I'm so happy."
As they hugged, Sophia could feel Emily's heart racing with excitement. They had been waiting for this moment for so long.
"When do we meet with your mom?" Emily asked, pulling back to look at Sophia.
Sophia thought for a moment. "How about next weekend? We can have dinner at our place."
Emily nodded, already mentally preparing for the meeting. "Sounds perfect."
As they pulled back to look at each other, Sophia could see the love and excitement shining in Emily's eyes.
