Happily, he picked up his arrows from the Rattus ashes and set the ten arrows back into the Crossbow.
The arrows were made of special steel that was even lighter than wood but stronger and with more penetrating power. Miles didn't want to lose such good stuff.
The crossbow could also contain just ten arrows in its magazine which was why Miles was careful not to finish them during his fight with the Rattus and simply waited when he had the best opportunity.
With renowned confidence, Miles walked forwards until he was 1km away from the safe zone.
Suddenly, a shadow approached from a ruined two story apartment. With Miles's great vision, he saw that the shadow's fur was sharp as needles and was at least 1.5 meters tall. Its mouth had two gigantic tusks which reflected the light from the searchlight, which could make one's heart skip a beat.
A regular boar that humans eat is probably only 60-70 cm tall.
In other words, this monster is at least double the size of a domestic pig, almost as if it was a small truck.
"Iron fur boar? My prey will be you" Miles watched the iron fur boar come out of the small river.
"Growl!"
As he stared at the iron fur boar in the eye, he held up his blade. The monster made a weird growling sound and suddenly fiercely stepped on the geound, making a cloud of dust with a thumping noise. It carried a putrid current with it as it charged towards Miles, as if it was a heavy tank flying towards him.
The two long, sharp tusks pointed forward like gigantic scimitars.
[HU!] Right when the iron fur boar charged, Miles quickly dodged to the side; the iron fur boar didn't even have time to stop during its charge. And with a quick flash in his eyes, all the power on his body focused in his arm and unrelentlessly made a slash with his blade! The blade cut right across the iron fur boar's neck!
"Thump!"
The head of the iron fur boar was immediately detached from its body and flew up high. Fresh blood was spewing out of the area where it was cut from and the body also flew at least 10 meters before falling. The body twitched for a bit on the ground and then finally died.
The iron fur boar's defense was powerful, but that was for a regular awakened. Although he and the Iron boar had similar strength, its weakness was moving at a straight line.
Miles immediately absorbed the genetic nutrients, turning the massive beast into a pile of dried ashes of impurities.

Miles muscles trembled and his face tinted a slight red as his strength increased even more. The sensation was getting addictive and even Miles knew if he didn't control it, the blood lust might turn back to control him.
Calming his nerves, he climb up a large tree to locate his next prey.
"Hm? Another one!" Miles saw a mastiff tiger, whose body was full of spots, near a large mountain rock. He saw the energy wave around it and saw it was simply a 2-star Iron grade Ultra beast
Miles immediately ran towards it. With just one leap off of the tree, he flew more than 10 meters and heavily landed onto the ruined tree, even the leaves violently shook as he landed.
Miles rolled on the ground with the force of the impact and directly flew towards the mastiff tiger.
"HOWL!" The mastiff tiger also came flying towards.

Around noontime Miles was resting when he saw a wounded rank 5 Scarlet Fire Bird. However, Miles lamented his misfortune that he was unable to hunt flying beasts.
After walking for a while and killing three weak 3 stars beasts, Miles suddenly stopped and focused his attention to his ears.
"There is a fight over there!'
The biggest difference between a normal person and a Supersoldier was the ability to do things give or ten times more effective. A normal person could have amazing senses but after a point, they will hit a limit. But a Supersoldier senses had gone way beyond the normal limit.
Miles, could faintly hear clashes of a fight about a mile away and knew exactly which direction the sound was coming from.
Following the sound, Miles rushed there quietly. Pushing back the branches, Miles found a forest scene with a human figures and a huge growling Interdimensional beast.
When he was thirty meters away from the battlefield, Miles jumped up onto a big tree to watch the fight from above.
In the woods, there was an emptied grassy field about fifteen meters long. And in that field, there were five teenagers holding weapons in their hands surrounding a huge demonic beast. Its body was about three meters long and looked like a tiger with black shiny hair, panting as its long bloody tongue dripped with purple liquid, its mouth was filled with huge sharp teeth and its claws were sharp and angled, measured about a meter long.
It was actually a 2 star Interdimensional beast.
Poison Saw-Toothed Tiger, its power was equivalent to a 4th star Super Soldier. Its teeth carried a deadly poison that, once touched, would cause your skin to fester and can only cured by a single antidote, otherwise once the poison spread to your heart, even a genetic soldier would lose their life.
Miles noticed that the group of teenagers all had a golden snow symbol on their sleeves, identifying them as students of a prestigious school in Helixor city.
The Royal Snow was a secondary school even more advanced than Starcloud school Miles was currently still attending.
It was said that their Principal, Mrs Snow is an early stage Genetic soldier and they are definitely not people to be trifled with.
The five people attacking the monster were quite lacking, but had great teamwork, a result of spending a lot of time together in many different situations.
