The air was stale, reeking with blood and the metallic scent of gunpowder. The walls of the yard, though they weren't anything of glamor, were already stained with the splatters of blood from different bodies that had either dropped dead or simply passed out.

"Wow! This much! And I don't even know what the Exp is used for. But it sounds oddly familiar." He racked his brain for answers as he tackled the person in front of him, going for a jab at the jaw. The person blocked his attack immediately moving back at the right moment.
Derolo raised his brows seemingly amused. "You could block it? That's impressive."
"All the time I spent training cannot go to waste." The boy answered.
"What's your name, boy?"
"Elven.."
"Are you happy? Being with the red wolves?"
The boy's face twisted in a grimace, "Do I have a choice?"
"Join me.. Wayne obviously is a stupid person who doesn't know how to keep his cool. The mere fact that he's sending useful people to die a useless death is one proof."
The young man bit his lips at Derolo's words looking like he was ready to join him but resolve flashed in his eyes. "Loyalty is important, the number one rule! If I'm not loyal to my gang, I deserve to be killed!"
"Have it your way then..."
Suddenly, Derolo was behind him, raising his hand for a hit on the neck that would knock him out immediately.
The young man could do nothing as he fell unconscious, landing gently on his floor due to Derolo's leg which cushioned his fall.
"Ack! I forgot to ask the name."
"Your cockiness!!"
He turned his head and saw the red haired hot headed gang leader heading towards him like a raging bull.
He had made the decision to deliver the first blow and he did just that efficiently as Derolo's face snapped to the side due to the impact.
He gripped his jaw, successful in numbing the pain.
"Can't you handle that one hit?!"
"I'm ready when you are!" Derolo answered back calmly.
Wayne attempted the same hit, a powerful right hook was aimed at his face but Derolo was ready and prepared for it so he bent and evaded the blow in a fluid motion making Wayne hit nothing but air. Derolo didnt stop there, his fists were ready and he delivered a blow to Wayne's gut, making the latter cough out spit. But in all of this still, Wayne was persistent. He raised his legs, going for a kick that would leave Derolo gasping for air but at that moment, Derolo raised his leg as well, blocking the attack. Their shins hit each other and it was obvious to see that it was a painful hit but they held it in, a small grimace the only sign that they were in pain.
"Is that the only thing you can do? Blocking my attack?"
Derolo rolled his eyes gently. "And what makes you say that?"
Wayne chuckled, his shoulders moving up and down because he was also panting. "I was the only one who was able to land a successful hit on you."
"Are you sure that's the case or I let you hit me?"
Wayne snarled. He believed Derolo, or the rumours about him. A skilled fighter and dominating aura. He felt it too when he met him and that only infuriated him more.
"I'll end this now!" Wayne yelled.
"Be my guest.."
'That attitude!' Wayne thought to himself as he charged forward.
The two men were soon engaged in a fist fight that depended on the strength and endurance of each person. Wayne's punches were fast and direct, those punches were supposed to knock out and kill in fact but somehow, Derolo managed to dodge all of them easily. He moved with such precision that it was worthy to be called only one thing. Beautiful.
Wayne's frustration continued building as his fists continued to hit nothing but air and just for a split second, he let his guard down, creating an opening for Derolo. He made use of the opportunity immediately.
Derolo suddenly landed an uppercut to his jaw which caused Wayne to stagger backwards. The fight seemed to pause with Derolo standing, panting gently and Wayne panting, with his head low. Derolo could attack but he decided not to. He would wait to catch his breath since Wayne was unable to move at the moment.
Wayne raised his head and blood could be seen at the corner of his mouth and nose.
Derolo smirked. "I drew the first blood."
It was at that moment that Derolo decided to attack, throwing a barrage of punches towards Wayne who raised his arms to block it.
Just when Derolo stopped and Wayne thought he could deliver his own blows, Derolo opted for another punch to the gut, disorienting Wayne but he didn't stop there.
Wayne was distracted and tired so he would make use of the opportunity.
He landed a blow on his face, cracking Wayne's nose.
Blood dripped from his nose as he shook his head, trying to fight the wave of nausea that washed over him.
He fell to his knees, the dizziness taking control.
Wayne stood immediately, his breath shallow as he glared at Derolo who also looked to be having a hard time breathing.
"Why are you so persistent?" Derolo muttered, slightly annoyed.
Wayne, who wasn't at his peak anymore, swung a wild punch, attempting to land a lucky blow but lady luck wasn't on his side at all as Derolo still had more energy than he did.
He sidestepped, delivering a knee to Wayne's gut. The latter groaned, doubling in pain. Derolo grabbed his collar, lifting him up from the concrete floor before flinging him to the side, resulting in a shatter of bones.
Wayne scrambled to get up but Derolo was quick to get to him. Before he could react, Derolo had placed his legs on Wayne's chest, pinning him to the floor.
He could have groaned but he refused to even though he was in immense pain. His ribs had been broken, his nose had been broken, and he was sure he was bleeding internally, plus the injury he had inflicted on himself earlier on.
"This ends now!" Derolo declared, removing his legs from Wayne's chest so he could breathe better.
Wayne was relentless, he sat up with a grunt attempting to deliver a final blow.
'I know this is futile, I know it's impossible for me to win anymore, my body has reached its limits but I refuse!' Wayne thought to himself.
"You really don't learn, do you?"
Derolo didn't even need to stress, a kick on the side sent him flying back, putting him in an unconscious state immediately.
He grabbed the unconscious body, raising it up for everyone to see.
The fights among the other men stilled.
"This is over! I will be taking him hostage until you can pay for the damages caused.." his voice became dark. "His body takes more damage the longer he stays."
With that, he dropped body which fell with no resistance as he walked away.
The destro members cheered, after all, they had won.
"As expected of Derolo! No one can defeat him!"
But, as Derolo walked away, he grimaced. "That guy is freaking strong. If I didn't manage to weaken him, it would have been over."
He continued walking and when he had finally escaped the noise, he paused.
"Now what were those messages that kept popping up?"
