He waited a few seconds after hearing the door close, he had to be sure that there was no one there. But, that was just an excuse. He was too scared to actually come out. A man had just been killed for whatever reason and the killer had informed that he had been seen and he too could be killed anytime, plus, a thumb was given to him to leave the room with.
"I never pegged Shiro as a crazy person, but then again, everyone on the dark side are weird people, myself exclusive." He muttered, suddenly remembering the people at the currency exchange.
He clenched his fists, gathering the courage to finally step out.
"What use will all the ordeal I had to endure become if I'm unable to achieve what I want? Besides, I didn't actually see the murder so I have nothing to fear since I'm not a witness."
He picked up the thumb and immediately dropped it with a shriek.
"Alfred Savage! Are you out of your mind? How could you do that? You're basically disrespecting the dead man." He chastised himself.
As soon as he said those words, his eye caught the body and for a second, his soul almost left his body.
Not because he was scared of the body although that was also part, the main reason was because the face looked decomposed. It had decomposed too fast.
"If I remember correctly, there were two different faces on the body but now, the face is decomposed. Almost identical to a skeleton."
He turned away from the scene and focused on the main reason for coming. He quickly altered the results. Apparently, he had gotten a fifteen. An extremely low score. He changed it to a seventy eight which was his usual score on most exams he wasn't prepared for.
"Maybe that body is like that because of the powers they had mentioned earlier." He closed the tab and switched off the computer, preparing to take his leave through the window.
"Honestly, creepy shit is going on with this world.." he muttered to himself.
Looking down, his heart rate suddenly increased. The fear of height he never knew he had suddenly kicked in.
"I cannot jump this height.. I'll die!"
He looked back at the thumb, unable to decide what to do.
"On my right, there's a window to jump from, and on my left, there's disrespecting the body of a dead person."
He bit his lips.
"What would be the right decision to take?"
He picked up the thumb and headed towards the door, ready to use it to open the door.
"I'm sorry but it's better for me to disrespect you than to die since between the both of us, you're already dead. I promise to give your thumb a funeral."
He gave a small bow to the dead person before leaving.
He shut the door a little too loudly before he could realize it and just then..
"Who's there! Stop there!"
He clenched his jaws as his head fell back.
"Fuck!" He began sprinting.
"Didn't you hear me? I said to stop!" The guard yelled.
'Only a fool would actually stop!'
"At least, reply to me. What were you doing?!" He yelled while still running after him.
'What does he think I am, two years old? Even a baby is smart enough to know what he's trying to do.'
Alfred Savage continued running, never looking back for once.
"I knew it, the dead person is punishing me. I should've just jumped out the window!"
He persisted in running till he burst outside, and that's when he noticed that he didn't see the guard anymore. He squinted his eyes, looking for him around.
"Are you stupid! If the man lost you, it's better for you to escape entirely before he finds you. Alfred, you do stupid things a lot of times!" He muttered, smacking himself on the forehead as he continued running.
Meanwhile,
In the dark hallway where the guard had lost him, the guard isn't looking how he was a few moments ago.
His face looked pained and horrified as he held his neck like holding it would prevent his inescapable death.
Unable to breathe properly, he fell with a thud, bleeding out till he drew his last breath.
"Ahhh.." Shiro moaned. "Sneak attacks are the best!"
He walked towards the once alive guard and retrieved his knife from his neck. As he did this, blood spurted out, some of it splattering on his face.
"Honestly, I should thank whoever that is. How I wish to see his face but I guess I'll be seeing him later." He smiled to himself and headed out, his hands in his pocket.
"He has good potential…"

Italy, Mafia Association Division (MAD)
The room was exceptionally bright for that time of the night, with different colors of Led lights. A huge Kitty rug sat in the middle of the room and the continuous hitting of keys could be heard. A huge television with a small looking person sitting in front of it, holding a controller, sitting on the rug.
A huge table could be seen behind the boy and a huge portrait of an old looking man.
"I'm winning this shit! How could you offer to best me? Why would I agree to that?!" The boy yelled as he furiously controlled his keys, cursing with every action gone wrong.
He was in the final stage of level 106 of the game "kill the king for fun", but he was having a hard time defeating the last opponent who was the king's personal royal guard.
His character dived down, a sword materializing his hand as soon as he was under the other character. But, the character had set up a defensive barrier.
"C'mon, who places a barrier over their stuff while in a battle!
Eventually he lost the game due to his opponent's weird choice of barriers.
"Arghh!" The boy yelled, slamming the control on the floor as he stood up to go to the table.
"Stupid game is rigged."
He grabbed his phone and after dialing in some numbers, it began to ring.
The person picked up the call. "If you're calling me by this time, then I'm guessing you lost a game and you have a very dumb suggestion for the people on the dark side."
"I swear it, those people on the bright side are crazy! Who tries to protect their child bringer while in a fight."
The other person on the end of the call shrugged his shoulders. "I won't fault them, they are the crown jewels after all. What crazy suggestion do you have this time around?"
"Well, it's not crazy but I want the general name of the people on our side changed. So we don't need to have the opposite name of those people. We'll be unique."
The other person was quiet for a while, saying absolutely nothing.
"Hello?"
"For the first time, what you're suggesting actually makes sense. Let's do it."
