"William, cloud level 19, attack mage." William summoned his cloud. There was a blue colour, rank 1 water symbol on it.
Most of the students were looking at William's cloud. They were curious about his cloud spell. After all, William was the top one among 3rd grade students.
On the stage, Alvin and William were staring at each other with a dangerous gleam. Seeing that, the crowd felt excited.
"Alvin, cloud level 15, attack mage." Alvin said. A cloud was formed slowly on his hand. Under the gaze of everyone, the green colour, rank 1 wind symbol appeared.
"eh? I thought Alvin was elementless?"
"Ya, last time his wind symbol was grey"
"What? He added a cloud element?"
"His cloud is shapeable? How is that possible?"
"I thought our element was fixed when we awakened the cloud?"
Seeing the green colour wind symbol, everyone was stunned, including the principal and teachers. At first they thought Alvin was elementless. They were expecting to see Alvin lose in a few minutes. However, it seemed like Alvin had solved his elementless problem.
The teacher Bryan, John and Lily was looking at Elias as if asking how Alvin got his element. Elias casually shrugged, not giving an answer.
Seeing Alvin's elemnt, Emily's jaw dropped. She looked at William with a gleam of concern in her eyes. Then, she breathed a sigh of relief when she thought of William being the top one among 3rd grade students. She believed William should be able to win.
William's eyes narrowed. He didn't expect this. Yet, he quickly calmed himself down. He looked at Alvin's cloud and sneered
"Huh, Alvin, I admit that you have some talent. There is a possibility that you can be the top in the academy, but not now." William's gaze was cold. Then, William sneered. "and you made a mistake, you shouldn't embarrass Emily in front of everyone"
Alvin chuckled.
"You ok? She tried to embarrass me in front of everyone first. I was just protecting myself."Alvin said
"Well, you shouldn't do it when you are not strong enough because I am stronger than you." William sneered.
"We will see" Alvin stared at William.
The next moment, their cloud shone brighter as if ready to cast a spell.
William raised his chin and stared at Alvin. He was confident in his own fighting ability. He believed even though Alvin had the wind element, he would defeat Alvin.
Alvin remained indifferent and stared at William. He turned his head and looked at Mr Christopher who was stunned by Alvin's element.
"Oh,ok." Mr Christopher realized he was stunned for a moment. Just now he was looking at Elias and wondering how Mr Elias helped Alvin add an element into the cloud. Yet, instead of getting an answer from Elias, he only saw Elias shrugging.
Then, Mr Christopher raised his hand high.
"3,2,1, start" Mr Christopher brought his hand down and exclaimed.
"First cloud spell, rank 1 wind blade"
Instantly, Alvin darted backward while casting his wind blade in 0.45 seconds. As an attack mage, it was always a good choice to maintain a distance with the enemy, especially when he didn't know about William's cloud spell.
William also didn't hesitate for a moment. Instead of dodging the wind blade, he cast his first cloud spell.
"First cloud spell, rank 1 hydro pillar. " William exclaimed.
Alvin saw that a pillar of water was formed in the air and shot to his wind blade.

Both spells cancelled each other, leaving a damp environment at the center of the stage.
Alvin squinted his eyes. Although he was quick in casting spell, he didn't get the upper hand. This was because William had a comparable spell casting speed.
Of course, Alvin didn't stop. He continued to shoot out more wind blades. He wanted to get the upper through speed, because 0.45 seconds wasn't the best he could do.

"First cloud spell, rank 1 hydro pillar"

Alvin cast a lot of wind blades to attack William. At the same time, he was running around to cast the wind blade at a new angle.
Both of them were exchanging cloud spells, but none of them got the opportunity to win yet.
Under the stage, teachers were watching the fight.
"You think who will win?" teacher John asked teacher Bryan.
"It depends on whether this William is really good or not. As the top one of the 3rd grade students, he should have something special" Bryan said.
"Hey, John, wanna bet? I bet Alvin will win" Elias suddenly said.
"No one wants to bet with you" John said. He still remembered last time how Elias won his wind gem.
Elias smiled gently.
Within 10 minutes of fighting, Alvin managed to hurt William. There were some wounds on William's leg. Of course, Alvin also got injured, his arm was hit by the hydro pillar. He was in pain.
Alvin was panting and sweating. Although he was tired, he continued to fight. Fortunately he had his stamina practice everyday. Now he was able to fight for a long time.
On the other hand, William didn't look good. He was breathing heavily. William's speed slowly dropped.
Although both of them was injured, they didn't stop. This was the most intense fight today. The students were holding their breath, watching the fight.
"Let me show you how weak you are, Alvin" William gazed at Alvin with cold expression and sneered.
"First cloud spell, rank 1 hydro pillar, rotate" William exclaimed. His previous hydro pillar was a pillar that shot at Alvin at high speed. However, this new pillar was rotating at high speed, indicating a strong damage.
Apparently, all the while, William didn't use his strongest spell. Now, he was using his powerful cloud control.
Alvin noticed that William put more cloud energy into the hydro pillar to make it rotate fast.
Seeing that, the crowd exclaimed. They were stunned by William's ability in cloud control.
"See, I told you. It is not a rumour that William is strong" Bryan said.
John was nodding his head.
Elias took a quick glance at William, remained indifferent.
Charles was watching the fight with a sign of concern on his face.
On the stage, Alvin squinted his eyes as he saw the fast rotating hydro pillar.
