Three of them were stunned. Alvin looked at Charles, trying to discuss this strange thing.
Charles was gazing at the Mr Tree, confused. He also didn't know what was happening.
At a distance, Elias squinted his eyes and looked at the Mr Tree. He nodded his head a little bit as if he understood what was this Mr Tree
"Hmm..... Mr Tree." Alvin looked at the Mr Tree and said.
Alvin didn't know what Mr Tree was, but he knew that this Mr Tree could trap a level 23 wind cat easily. Alvin believed that Mr Tree was probably at least level 31.
"We found this wind cat first" After a short pause, Alvin said. Although he knew that they wouldn't be able to fight the Mr Tree, he still tried to negotiate. He was hoping that this Mr Tree was somewhat reasonable.
"huh? hmmm. Ya, you are right" Mr Tree agreed, nodding.
Then, Mr Tree raised his eyes and gazed at Alvin.
"But I really like this wind cat. I want it to be my pet" Mr Tree said.
"Pet?"Alvin thought and remained silent.
If Mr Tree really wanted this wind cat, there was nothing they could do other than giving up the wind cat. After all, the Mr Tree was stronger than them.
Elias walked forward and looked at Mr Tree.
"Hey, Mr Tree. Or can we trade? You help us to find a wind element cloud monster with a large area attack spell. It must be better than the wind cat." Elias asked with a smile on his face. He felt that this Mr Tree was quite naive. It was good chance for them.
Mr Tree could have just take the wind cat without asking, but now he was negotiating with them.
"Good idea, you are a good guy. I know every part of this spire. Do you guys know the winspider? I can bring you there" Mr Tree said in a excited tone.
Elias's eyes lit up.
Alvin's eyes widened with shock.
"Is it the big winspider with the cloud spell, Gale of Venomous blade" Alvin asked.
"Ya, I don't like it. It was disgusting. And it always bully trees. Not like us, trees are the best " Mr Tree said.
Alvin exchanged a quick glance with Elias and swallowed. He saw Elias gave him a short nod, hinting that it was a good deal.
Of course, Alvin knew that it was a good deal. He had been discussing with Elias about his second cloud spell in academy. They even talked about this winspider. Yet, they rejected this idea because it was too rare to find the wind spider. Out of 10000 people, only 1 had the chance to find the windspider.
However, now they had a chance to find the winspider.
"Sure, you help us to find the winspider. We give you this wind cat" Alvin said.
"Alright, deal." Mr Tree said. Then, he extended his branches like a human waiting for a handshake.
Although Alvin felt strange, he extended his hand and shook hand with this Mr Tree. This was his first time shaking hands with a tree.
"Ah ha, little wind cat, you are mine" Mr Tree grew its branches, extended it and grabbed the wind cat to him. Then, Mr Tree was petting the wind cat on his branches.
"Alright, let's go" Mr Tree said with a bright smile. Mr Tree raised his branches high and made a big arc in the air, gesturing in a direction.
Alvin and Charles were looking at Elias, as if waiting for his opinion.
"let's go."Seeing that, Elias raised his chin and gestured at the Mr Tree.
Then, they followed the Mr Tree.
On the way, Mr Tree was petting and playing with the wind cat. Although the wind cat was quick and flexible, it couldn't escape from Mr Tree. Mr Tree was faster.
"Mr Tree, are you...a cloud monster?" Charles asked.
"No, I am a tree." Mr Tree said.
"Then, why can you talk like us?" Charles asked with curious eyes.
"I am a tree, I have been living in this spire for more than a hundred years. I was just an ordinary tree, I cannot talk, cannot move, but i can sense what is happening around me. Then, one day many humans came to this spire. They were all fighting for cloud items. Then, one of them accidentally used the one time off cloud item on me. It was a life giving cloud item, it could give a plant or object the ability like a human. So, I gained the ability to move and talk like a human." Mr Tree said.
Hearing that Elias nodded his head. Although he heard of rumours about this Mr Tree, this was the first time he saw it.
"So do you eat? or you live with sunlight only." Charles asked.
"Haha, I can live with sunlight only."
"Can you leave the spire?" Alvin asked.
"Nope, I will die if I leave the spire. I need the cloud energy un the spire to live. And I have no interest in doing so. When I gained the ability of humans, many people wanted to catch me. There was one time, I got caught by them. They wanted to sell me for money So, I didn't like the world outside of the spire."
"How do you escape?" Alvin asked
" Oh, a beautiful lady saved me. Then, she taught me words and gave me some books. 6 months later, she said that she got important things to do. Then, she left and never came back. Sometimes I miss her."
Mr Tree paused for a while and looked at Alvin.
"Surprisingly, you had the similar eyes like hers." Mr Tree said.
Elias took a quick glance at Mr Tree then looked at Alvin's eyes.
Then, Mr Tree's eyes filled with a little sadness as if thinking about the beautiful lady.
Mr Tree didn't continue the topic. He led their way into a deeper place in the forest.
Walking in the spire, there was no cloud monster dared to attack them. The cloud monster would left when they saw Mr Tree. After all, Mr Tree was more than level 31.
Soon, they reached a big cave.
