Alvin and Charles didn't go to the Eldrich Academy. They decided to visit the town first. After all, this was their first time visiting Arcanum Sky Layer.
In addition, the Eldrich Academy was far away from the town. They wanted to take a rest in the town for one day, then only went to the Eldrich Academy.

Alvin glanced around as they walked on a street. There were two rows of shops on their left and right. Some of the shops were selling for food, some selling clothes, some selling tools and repairment service.
The building here was much bigger than the shop in the ground layer.
Alvin could tell that it was a much more developed place than the ground layer.The ground layer was like a small village. Sky Layer was like a well developed town.
Of course, there was a big Daylight Order building in Sky Layer. Daylight order was a big organisation that had a branch all around the world.
Although the Daylight Order had a beautiful and huge building, Alvin and Charles didn't go to the Daylight Order.
Then, they went to a noodle shop for food. They were interested in the food of the Sky Layer.
After searching for 5 minutes, they found a noodle stall. They were sitting at the table beside the road, having their noodles.
"hmmm, quick nice" Alvin said as he ate the noodles with a fork. The noodles cost them 15 dollars, more expensive than the noodle at ground layer, but the taste was much better.
"Ya, no bad" Charles said.
While having his noodles, Alvin noticed a group of people walking to the stall.
The leading man had a hair style of slicked back, wearing a black jacket. He raised his chin high and glanced around. Although the way he moved was like a gangster, this man didn't have any tattoos on him.
There were two people walking together with him.
Walking on the streets, the leading man was greeted by the shop owners.
Alvin guessed the leading man was around 14 to 15 years old. This man had a young face. With a youthful face mixed with a gangster move, the man had a special aura.
Alvin saw them take a seat at the table beside Alvin and Charles.
"Jack, you must go, this is a good opportunity. You deserve to be in a good academy" one of the followers, Austin said.
"Ya, Jack. My boss. Please go. I heard the principal of this Eldrich academy is one of the best teachers in the country" another follower, Jordan said.
"Haiya, ok ok. Let's go and see. I hope this is not a stupid academy" Jack said as he nodded a few times.
Alvin overheard their conversation and took a glance at Jack.
Sensing Alvin's gaze, Jack raised his brows and gave Alvin a fierce look.
They exchanged a glance. Alvin nodded slightly and continued to eat his noodles.
Alvin was musing about this Eldrich academy. It seemed like not only them, many people were going to this academy.
For a moment, Alvin was excited and looking forward to his life at this Eldrich Academy.
Every year, all the academies will have their new student admission around January. It was the same for Eldrich Academy.
The only thing special about Eldrich Academy was that it was a new academy. The principal of this Eldrich Academy just built the academy at the end of last year and then started to admit new students this year.
Normally, on the street, people won't bring a large luggage bag with them. However, Alvin and Charles noticed there were a lot of outsiders or travellers carrying their bag and luggage.
Alvin believed that they were coming for the new student admission. Just not sure whether it is the new student admission for Eldrich Academy or the famous Arcanum Secondary Cloud Academy.
There was a high chance that they were here for the Arcanum secondary cloud academy, considering the reputation of it.
After paying for their noodles, Alvin and Charles didn't go back to the hotel. Instead, they headed to the cloud street.
It was a street that focused on selling cloud items, gems, cloud plants and potions. Although it was a street for cloud holders, there were a lot of ordinary people walking on the streets.

Alvin and Charles entered a small shop that was selling cloud items.
Unlike the ground layer, where they sold low rank gems, there were some high rank gems at Sky Layer. The highest gems here were rank 6 gems.
In the shop, Alvin put down a rank 6 gems and murmured. "Too expensive"
"Ya, it cost 1000 dollars for a rank 6 gems." Charles said
"Eh, they got sell grindstone " Charles said as he picked up a grey stone on the table.
Grindstone was the stone people used to sharpen their sword and arrow. A great grindstone could sharpen the arrow and increase its damage.
Alvin looked at the grindstone on Charles and nodded. It was a good grindstone.
Suddenly, Alvin's eyes lit up as he saw a grass that was placed at the corner of the shop as if the grass was an unimportant item.
It was grass that only grew below -30 degree celsius. It was called Snowveill grass. Although it wasn't a cloud plant that grew in the spire, it was a very useful grass to Alvin.
Alvin needed this grass to upgrade his Phoenix Rebirth to the next level. This was one of the important raw materials.
