Three years later. Alvin was at the top of the Arcanum Forest Spire.
The wind was breezy. His robe was fluttering with the wind.
The last time he visited Arcanum Forest Spire was for his first cloud spell.
Last time, he was chased by a level 21 Thuninion in the spire. That time, he didn't even have a chance to win. Now, he was standing at the top of the spire, indicating he passed through all the cloud monsters and reached the top.
Now, Alvin was 11 years old.
Most of his peers managed to reach around level 23. However, with hard work and the effect of life fruit, Alvin managed to reach the cloud level of 27.
As for his magic skill that learned at Order of Merlin, he improved his object manipulation skill to adept stage.
In Order of Merlin, magic skill was categorized into 4 stage, novice, adept, advanced and master.
Now, Alvin could manipulate a 15kg object at a distance of 2 meters. If improved his skill to advanced stage, he would be able to fly on the sky by controlling his robes.
In the past few years, he made an adept stage magic circle using some rank 3 gems. Of course, he stored the circles inside his storage ring.
For his body strengthening, even though it reached an adept stage, Alvin's strength and speed wasn't powerful. This was because the body strengthening required two things, muscle and magic control. His magic control could help in amplifying his muscle, but as his muscle was still weak, the effect of body strengthening was not that strong.
So, when he grew up, his strength and speed would improve along the way.
"Finally, we reached." Alvin exhaled a breath and said.
In front of him stood a door that was shining in bright white light. Passing through the door would lead him to the next layer, the Sky Layer.
Beside him stood the Charles who was holding his bow. On his right hand, his cloud was floating with two thunder symbols.
After three years of cloud cultivation, Charles got his second cloud spell and levelled up to level 26. His second cloud spell was a rank 2 thunder element spell.
They graduated as the top one and top two in the arcanum primary cloud academy.
"Ya, let's go" Charles said.
With a big smile on their face, they walked through the door.
A silver light flashed as they walked through the door.
...
Next second, they were teleported to the Sky Layer.
The bright sunlight shone on their face. Alvin narrowed his eyes. After a few seconds, he slowly opened his eyes when he was used to the bright sunlight.
Alvin took a quick glance at his surroundings.
They were standing on a grass. Seeing the cloud monsters at a distance, Alvin knew that they were still in the spire. Just that it was the Sky Layer Spire, as all the cloud monsters was around 30 levels.
In ground layers, cloud monsters' level was ranging from level 1 to level 30.
In the Sky layer, cloud monsters' level was ranging from level 30 to level 60. Sometimes, there were some level 70.
"So, this is the Arcanum Forest Spire in Sky Layer." Charles raised his head and looked around, curious.
They could feel the saturated cloud energy in the air. It was 10% higher than ground layer. If they do their cultivation at this Sky Layer, their cultivation speed would also increase.
Suddenly, a hawker called out at them.
"Hello. New comers?"
Alvin turned his head and saw a hawker. The hawker were standing in front of a stall nearby the entrance of the spire.
"Do you want to buy maps? We have the latest maps." the hawker said as he waved a map on his hand.
Alvin was interested in the maps. He walked to the stall. Charles followed him.
"How much?" Alvin asked
"80 dollars"
"Here" Alvin paid the money and took the map. He needed this map to look for directions.
If it was 6 years ago, he wouldn't pay for this map, because he had no money. Yet, now, he was quite rich. He had around 1000 dollars with him.
Alvin opened it up. Chales moved close to Alvin, looking at the map together.
"Let's see, where is the Eldritch academy?" Alvin was looking for a secondary cloud academy.
Eldritch academy was their destination, an academy recommended by teacher Elias.
Accoding to Elias, this was the most suitable academy for them.
"Found it here." Charles pointed at the Eldritch academy on the map.
"Hmm? Wait, it is in a jungle?" Alvin asked. On the map, the Eldritch academy was located inside a jungle, far away from the city.
"Ya man, it is inside the jungle." Charles frowned.
"You guys are going to the Eldritch Academy?" the hawker heard their conversation and asked.
"Ya. You know that academy? Why is it located in a jungle?" Alvin gave the hawker a look and said.
"Oh, this is a poor academy. They can only afford a place in the jungle. It is just way too expensive for them to rent a place in the town."
Alvin and Charles were looking at each other. They didn't understand why teacher Elias suggested to them an academy that was poor.
Alvin and Charles was baffled by what the hawker said. They exchanged a quick glance, feeling confused.
"Ok, thanks for the information"
"No worries, if you need carriage service, I can help also." the hawker said with a big smile, hoping to get another business.
"Is ok, we can walk there. Thanks" Alvin said. Alvin refused to take the carriage. Not because of money, he wanted to have a look at the Sky Layer.
After all, this was his first time visiting the Sky Layer.
"Let's go. I trust teacher Elias. " Alvin said.
Charles nodded.
With that, they left the spire and headed to the Eldritch Academy.
