No. 32 spire, Gale Spire. Sunny day.
Getting off the carriage, teacher Elias, Charles and Alvin stood in front of a huge spiral.
Alvin lifted his hand to a few inches above his brow to block the sunlight and looked at the spire.
"So, this is the Gale Spire" Alvin said.
"Ya, and it is big" Charles said as he looked at the spire.
It was a big spiral that stretched for a few hundred miles with an entrance in the middle. The spiral was high enough to pierced through the cloud.
This was their destination, a spire that was famous for wind element cloud holder. Not because this spiral had special wind cloud spell, but because there were a lot of wind element in the air. The wind element cloud holder would have advantage in this spire.
"Let's go." Elias said as he used his finger to knock on Alvin's head.
"Oh" Alvin said and followed Elias to the entrance of the spire.
After paying the entrance fees, they entered the Gale Spire.
As Alvin entered the spire, he instantly felt the saturated wind element in the air. The number of wind elements in the air was 3 times the wind element outside.
"The wind element is thick." Alvin mumbles to himself.
Alvin was glancing around. The tree was high, the sky was clear and the wind was strong.
"Alright, we have to go to a higher place. This time, our aim is a 21 to 23 wind element cloud monster. It is the best if we are able to find winged snake or Winderfly" Elias said as he pointed at the way up the spiral.
Alvin nodded. He had discussed with Elias. The most suitable second cloud spell for him was a large area of effect cloud spell.
As of now, Alvin only had a single hit cloud spell, wind blade. If he encountered a group of cloud monsters, he would have a hard time fighting.
Walking up the spiral, Alvin was glancing around and paying attention to his surroundings. His cloud was floating on his hand, ready to cast a cloud spell.
Initially, Elias was leading the way. Yet, Alvin surpassed Elias and led the way. Now, HAlvin was leading the way, followed by Elias then Charles.
Although they had poured the repellant powder on themselves. Alvin believed it was safer for him to lead their way.
After all, they were here to get his cloud spell. Alvin didn't want them to take so much risk.
Along the way, they saw a lot of different cloud monsters, but none of the monsters dared to attack them due to the powder. It was easy for them to reach the level 20 area.
Alvin turned his head and looked down from the spiral. Now they were at the middle level of the spiral. On and off, they started to encounter some monster bare teeth at them.
Luckily, the monster didn't attack them because they were in a group of three.
"I think we shouldn't go up further. We are at the level 20 area now." Alvin said as he looked at a level 22 thundeeer at a distance.
Then, he turned his head and looked at teacher Elias as if waiting for his opinion.
"Yes, we have arrived at the level 20 area."Elias nodded and said.
"Winged snake" Charles said with a low and cautious voice.
Following Charles's gaze, Alvin saw a wind element snake on a tree. It was a snake with a pair of wing on its body. It was hovering on the tree with its tongue flickering, making a low hissing sound.
"You are lucky. Alvin. It is a level 22 winged snake." Elias said.
Hearing that, Alvin and Charles remained silent and slowly moved to the tree.
When they were near to the tree, They exchanged a quick glance and exclaimed.
"Thunder boom"

The thunder boom shot straight to the snake. The wind blade moved in a c-curve trajectory like a boomerang, attacking the snake from behind.
Usually, Alvin needed 0.42 seconds to form his wind blade. However, he only took 0.34 seconds to cast a wind blade in this spire. All thanks to the saturated wind element in this spire.
Sensing the attack, the winged snake tried to escape, but it was too slow compared to their attack.

The thunder boom and wind blade hit the snake and created an explosion on the tree.
Elias was frowning. He didn't understand why they could hit a winged snake easily. Winged snake was a cloud monster famous for its fast flying speed. It should be able to dodge their attack.
Alvin saw that the snake fell down from the tree, dropping at the ground.
On the ground, the snake was bleeding. It was roaring. Its long bodybwas coilling and uncoiling due to the pain that it was experiencing.
"Last hit" Charles said.
"Wind blade." Without any hesitation, Alvin shot a wind blade and killed the snake.
Seeing the snake not moving anymore, they slowly walked to the snake. Alvin took out a knife from his storage ring and cut the snake, getting its cloud core.
"phew, it was easy" Charles said.
"Not really. You guys are lucky." Elias frowned as he saw the wound on the snake.
"Look at this. This snake probably just had a fight with another cloud monster" Elias pointed at the claw shape wound on the snake.
Alvin looked carefully. On the belly of the snake, there was a claw shape wound.
"Eh?" Elias squatted down and looked at the wound in detail.
"This snake was attacked by a rare cloud monster, wind cat" Elias's eyes widened. Wind cat was a rare cloud monster with strong wind element spell.
"Wind cat" Alvin raised his head and looked at teacher Elias. Although Alvin didn't know all the cloud monsters in the world, he knew about this wind cat.
There were some findings that the quantity of this wind cat was low. Out of 10000 cloud monster, there was only one wind cat.
