Initially, the wind cat was calm and steady in the fight. It even had time to play with its colour ball. Now, its eyes was bloodshot, baring its teeth at Alvin and Charles.
Alvin and Charles squinted their eyes.

The next moment, wind cat cast another wave of mini tornado before turning around and running away from Alvin and Charles. Obviously, the wind cat didn't want to fight with two of them.

With a raise of hand, Alvin and Charles cast their first cloud spell. The wind blade and thunder boom stretched across the air and blocked the new wave of mini tornado.
"Let's chase the wind cat" Alvin urged as he saw the wind cat darting away at high speed.
Charles nodded.
Without any hesitation, they chased the wind cat.
While chasing the wind cat, they were casting spells at the wind cat. Normally, level 23 cloud monsters alone won't be able to handle the attack from them. After all, Alvin and Charles were level 19 and level 18, not too far from the level 23.
However, the wind cat was quick and flexible. It was dodging the attack by running left and right. It was indeed a rare cloud monster.
Alvin was looking at the road ahead. He squinted his eyes as he saw a mountain wall at a distance. It was a tall, grey colour mountain wall.
"Charles, we force the wind cat to the mountain wall." Alvin shouted while casting another wind blade.
"Alright, I block the left side, you block the right side." Charles shouted.

A multiple thunder boom and wind blade was hitting the left and right side of the wind cat. The attack was strong, damaging the tree and leaving a one and only path that led to the mountain wall.
As expected, the wind cat ran towards the mountain wall.
Seeing that, Alvin and Charles gave each other a nod. Then, they continued with their attack and accelerated to the mountain wall.
Soon, they managed to corner the wind cat at the mountain wall. There was no way for it to escape. Alvin saw that the wind cat stood in front of the mountain wall, glaring at them.
Half an hour ago, Alvin and Charles were full of cloud energy. Now, after using many cloud spells, they were left with little cloud energy. Alvin knew that he had to end the fight fast.
If not, they might run out of cloud energy. It was very dangerous for them to face cloud monsters without cloud energy to cast a spell.
Soon, Elias reached the mountain wall. He was panting, coughing and sweeping his sweat. He stood at a distance behind Alvin and Charles.

Seeing that, Alvin and Charles quickly got into their formation. Alvin extended his hand, ready to cast the wind blade. Charles was aiming his arrow at the mini tornado.

"ok. Wind blade" Alvin exclaimed.
Thunder boom hit the mini tornado in front of them, creating an explosion in the air. Dust filled the air.
As expected, the thunder boom cancelled out the mini tornado. The advantage of the mini tornado was it gave a relatively strong area attack. But when it came to damage in a small area, the thunder boom was stronger as it focused all the power on one point.
Then, Alvin shot his wind blade through the small space that the thunder boom created. The wind blade was fast.
The wind cat's eyes widened with shock. It yelled in a grim voice.
Alvin and Charles breathed a sigh of relief. They believed it was impossible for the wind cat to escape.
Seeing at, Elias nodded his head.
Under the gaze of everyone, the wind blade shot fast and almost reached the wind cat.
Just as the wind blade almost hit the wind cat.
A vine was formed from the ground, capturing the wind cat, at the same time blocking the wind blade.
"Meaowww" the wind cat was struggling, trying to free itself from the vine.
"Eh?" Alvin frowned. He didn't understand where this vine came from. Then, he heard a voice from behind.
"I want this wind cat." A loud voice came from behind.
Instantly, the idea of two people fighting for a cloud monster came to Alvin's mind. It was a common thing to happen in the spire. After all, the wind cat was a rare cloud monster.
Alvin felt angry, they were the first ones who found a wind cat. They almost defeated the wind cat, and now someone said he wants the wind cat? Alvin's eyes turned sharp and cold.
Hearing the voice, Elias frowned because he didn't see any coming. This voice came out of nowhere.
Charles was stunned for a moment, furrowing his brows.
Alvin turned and looked for the one talking. He was stunned. He saw a... tree? A talking tree? With a face on it? With branches as his hand and with roots as his legs?
What kind of cloud monsters is this?
Alvin had met a few plant type cloud monster. He even fought some of them in the spire. However, none of the plant type cloud monster could walk. Most of the time, plant type cloud monsters would root at a place and attack those walked by.
Yet, Alvin saw the tree stood before him could walk and move around. This tree even could talk? This was out of his understanding about the cloud world.
This was the first time he saw a plant type cloud monsters that could act like human.
In fact, actually, this was the only plant type cloud monster in the world.
"Who are you?" Alvin asked with cautious eyes. He was half squatting, ready to run.
"Me? Nice to meet you. I am Tree." The tree smiled and talked like a human. It even extended its branches, trying to shake hand with Alvin.
