In the forest, Alvin was running away from the cave. He knew that the coin won't be able to cheat the members of the Infernal Order for a long time. He must find a safe place before any of them find him.
Running in the forest, Alvin encountered a lot of cloud monsters. However, none of them dared to attack Alvin due to the powder on his shirt. Without the obstacles of cloud monsters, Alvin was half way through the spiral. He would be able to reach the spire entrance in 20 minutes.
Yet, after running for a long time, he felt tired and exhausted. He decided to take a rest first. In the forest, he leaned against a tree, resting.
"Time to go" After resting for 5 minutes, Alvin mumbled to himself.
He took a last bite on an energy bar before standing up. Then, Alvin saw a member of Infernal Order landed in front of him.
"Found you. Kid." the member of the Infernal Order said.
Alvin's eyes narrowed. Alvin recognised that he was the one who cut an opening on the wall of cave, a cloud holder, level 30 something.
Without any hesitation, Alvin took out the litrose from his pocket and shot it into the ground. A ray of red ligth was shimmering in the air.
Knowing the big difference in the cloud level, Alvin was betting. He bet that Daylight Order would come before the Infernal Order.
Of course, Alvin didn't just wait here. He wanted to buy himself some time.
"You want the cloud item, right? Here you go" Alvin took out a shiny object from his pocket and threw it to his left side. Of course, it wasn't the storage ring, it was just a coin.
Yet, Alvin threw it fast that no one could see it clearly. Although the member of Infernal Order knew that it might be a fake item, he still ran to the coin. After all, it might be the true cloud item.
Seeing that, Alvin ran in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately, just as Alvin ran for a few steps, he saw another member of the Infernal Order landing in front of him.
Now, he was surrounded by two members of the Infernal Order. The worst thing was both of them were level 30 something.
"Fake one" the one behind him found out that the shiny object was just a coin.
"Is ok kid, we will make it fast so that it doesn't hurt." they grinned, stared at Alvin.
"First cloud spell, wind blade" Alvin exclaimed and cast a wind blade.
"Fire fist." with a punch, the member of Infernal Order blocked the wind blade easily.
"Hahahaha. Your cloud level is too low." They were walking slowly to Alvin.
Alvin swallowed and frowned. Both of them had higher level than him.
"Alright, here it is. Don't kill me" Alvin raised his both hands, with the storage ring in his left hand.
Seeing the storage ring with cloud energy on it, they knew that it was the cloud items.
"Good boy." they grinned and walked near Alvin.
Alvin was observing his environment. Both of the members of the Infernal Order were 20 meters away from him.
Just as they were 10 meters away from Alvin, Alvin squatted down and exclaimed.
"Paralysis Sigil"
A surge of purple energy glowed from the magic circle, stunning the enemy. Then the gems on the magic circle broke into pieces. Alvin had been using it too many times.
Alvin didn't have time to look at the gems. He darted towards the cave direction, hoping that Daylight Order was nearby.
Yet, just after running for a few steps, his way was blocked by another member of Infernal Order again.
Alvin sighed.
This third member glared at Alvin.
Alvin did everything he could. Yet, it seemed like he didn't have luck.
"Here it is" Alvin put the storage ring on the floor, raised his hand and slowly moved aside.
"It is too late. Kid"
"Third cloud spell, rank 3, fire roar." the member of Infernal Order in front of Alvin exclaimed. A swirl of flame and fire shot out from his mouth, aiming at Alvin.
The fire roar was fast, couple with high temperature and high damge. It could burn things down easily.
Alvin's eyes narrowed.
"Wind blade double" With his fast casting speed, Alvin cast two wind blades. The two wind blades stacked together, forming a strong wind blade. This was the best cloud spell he had at the moment.
Alvin had tested the power of wind blade double, it was much stronger than casting two individual wind blades. When the two wind blades stacked together, they complimented each other and created a higher damage.
However, there was no way for a rank 1 spell to fight with a rank 3 spell. Although the 'wind blade double' weakened the fire roar, it didn't stop it.
The fire roar continued to shoot at Alvin. Alvin was in a dangerous spot.
The fire would reach him in a second. Alvin didn't have time to react.
Just as the fire roar reached 0.1 meter in front of Alvin saw an arrow fall from the top.
It was an arrow full of thunder elements, damaging the fire roar. Then, Alvin saw a figure in a purple shirt.
"Alvin, you ok?" Charles jumped down from a tree, landed in front of Alvin, with his back facing Alvin.
Alvin gazed at Charles. Charles was in a broken purple shirt, his face was dirty and his hair was messy. It seemed like Charles had some tough time in the spire.
"You shouldn't come" Alvin said as he turned to the member of the Infernal Order. Alvin and Charles stood back to back, protecting each other.
"What happened" Charles asked.
"It is complicated. They are the Infernal Order, looking for cloud items."
The three members of Infernal Order froze for a moment. They didn't expect the arrival of Charles.
"Don't waste time." Then they exchanged a quick glance.
"Third cloud spell, Fire claw"
"Third cloud spell, Wind storm"
"Third cloud spell, Fire slash"
Instantly, Alvin and Charles was surrounded by three powerful cloud spells. There was no way for them to escape.
