"Well, it turns out I do," he revealed in all seriousness and Hazel stood there looking at him in shock.
"Mr Psalm?"
At the call of his name, Hazel reluctantly tore her gaze from him to look at the person.
It was a teenager who went by the name Lilac, she was sixteen years old.
"Yes, Lilac," he stood up and went to meet her.
"Look at this," she pointed to a passage in the Bible and he looked at it with interest.
"I want you to look at the highlight in verse 38 where it says even angels and demons can't separate us from God's love. How? Why did they have to include angels?"
At her question, he smiled.
"It's trying to tell how unconditional God's love is to you. We all know that angels are always with God and people believe he values them more but believe me when I say it's the humans he cherishes more than anything. Even if a demon were to try and turn you away from God, he would still love you."
And as he said that, he turned to look at Hazel.
"Does this mean God doesn't love angels?" She asked.
"He does, Lilac."
"Then is it possible for an angel to become human?"
At Lilac's unexpected question, he looked at her.
"What made you think that?"
"You."
At her blunt response, he smiled without looking perturbed by it.
"And how did I make you think so?" He asked with interest.
"You are very calm," she said and he laughed.
"What makes you think angels are calm?"
"It's not what I think, it's what I was made to believe," she responded and he smiled.
"But do you believe all of them are calm?"
"No," she answered.
And all the while, Hazel watched them converse with each other. It was a sweet moment however she had to cut it short.
"Lilac, please tell the others to get ready," she interrupted them because it was beginning to drag and go into other topics.
Psalm had a deep passion for the things of God to a point it made Hazel feel imperfect to be with a person like him.
"Alright, will Psalm be coming along?" Lilac hopefully asked and Hazel looked at him before nodding.
"Really? That's amazing!" She said and hurried away to tell the others.
"They really love you," Hazel pointed out the obvious.
"Not all, most of them are just in love with the looks," he said and unashamedly pointed at his face and body.
Hazel's cheeks immediately warmed up at that revelation.
Does this mean he knew she had feelings for him?
She quickly looked away and pretended to be thinking.
"Hazel?"
"Mm," she returned her gaze back to him.
"Do you really not want to marry at all?" He asked in all seriousness and she blinked in surprise. She wasn't expecting such a question and it came as a shock.
Was he trying his luck maybe? She wondered.
"I don't…. But if the holy spirit directs me to the right person then I might reconsider it," she responded and he smiled.
"You should marry. You'll be a great mom," he said and walked inside, leaving her standing with an awestruck look.
Was he indirectly telling her she would make a good wife for him?
At that thought, she bit her lower lip and did a little twirl of excitement.

The moment they arrived at their destination, every teenager eagerly got out of the bus and hurried inside, leaving behind Psalm and Hazel.
"I've never said this before but I feel like a parent," Hazel said and glanced at Psalm discreetly.
"So do I, it's fun," he said and took her hand in his before dragging her inside.
For a moment, Hazel's mind went blank when he took her hand in his.
And while she was in that state, a lady walked up to them.
"Good day Mr and Mrs, are you here with… all of them?"
"Yes," Psalm answered and Hazel blinked at his response because he actually agreed when the lady tagged them as Mr and Mrs, meaning they were married.
"How many are they please?"
"Fifteen, seven boys and eight girls," he answered.
"Alright," the woman said and directed them to an exclusive area to make them comfortable.
And as they sat there, they could see all of them clearly.
"Psalm, why do I feel like you're taking this play seriously? Back there you agreed to us being Mr and Mrs."
"Isn't it fun?" He asked while smiling in a knowing manner but Hazel didn't comment on it.
"Aunt Haze, can I take this?" A teenager came to ask and Hazel frowned when she saw the price.
"It's q…"
"Take it," Psalm quickly agreed and the girl screamed in delight and ran to meet the others.
Facing him, Hazel frowned.
"What?" Psalm inquired without bothering to look at her.
"That's expensive."
"And who said we didn't have enough cash to get it?"
"We don't," she said.
"Well, I'll have to exclude myself from that 'we' not having, because I do," he corrected and Hazel blinked at him.
"You want to use your credit card?" she nearly screamed.
"Did I say that," he chuckled and gave her a weird look.
"Well, that's what it seems," she said.
"Just believe the impossible, Haze," he advised and she blinked because it was the first time he was calling her that instead of the full name.
"And by impossible you mean you," she said and he shook his head.
"Look around, you see that man right there."
At his words, Hazel looked at where he pointed and noticed how a mature man was casually speaking with some boys which they brought.
"He's going to pay for everything," Psalm confidently declared and it made Hazel whip her head at him in wonder.
"You really have so much faith. How certain are you?"
"A hundred percent."
"And what if he doesn't?" She doubtfully asked.
"Don't bring that energy in here, Hazel, we have a lot of hopeful teens here, don't kill their joy." He playfully warned while she kept looking at him.
"But let's be real. What if he doesn't?"
"Then I'll buy you a dress," he bargained.
"Be prepared to buy me that dress then," Hazel concluded as she pointed at a dress and it left Psalm laughing at her confidence.
