In the void, at the edge of the Sphere Of Light, the gray sphere had his gaze on the cocoon as the unrefining process still continued. It had taken much more time than he expected, but not having done something like this before— he could only wait.
Busy on the Energy Holographic Screen Construct infront of her, a message popped up before the white sphere. "Um, Omnis. I think we miscalculated here." Ino informed, glancing at the construct and back at the other figure.
"We didn't and we can't. As far as I know, everything is going on as planned." Omnis turned and moved towards her. "The bond has been initiated already right?"
"Mmmhm, it says here that the Sub-domain has been successfully created. Wasn't that too fast, how big is a sub-domain after all." Ino said, her eyes occasionally shifting to and from the construct and Omnis.
"Find out yourself then, you might be surprised with what you see." Omnis stated with his eyes glowing up. "It's about time I transferred the needed abilities to you, Ino."
"Really?! What do I get, hope it's better than Vrabam's—yeeeee!" Ino said, her silver eyes brimming with excitement, the screen construct closing up and disappearing.
"Now, you are to be given five abilities, adding up to the other two including your innate ability of course. Do note that all five abilities will be at the first stages, and possibly they might be unstable."
"Five? How many does Vrabam anywa—"
"Are unsatisfied with your abilities? Abilities you don't know yet!." Looking at the face of Omnis as he spoke, Ino could see the building up rage on his face. Not knowing why though, she kept her face down accepting she was wrong with her words.
"Forgive me Ino. You should know that with more abilities comes a much greater responsibility— one usually unbearable."
Drawing the attention of both of them, they read the message on the Screen Construct. "Looks like we have to hurry up before the switch." At his last words, the lines which weren't part of the cocoon shot up in the air, soon coming down fast towards the two. Reaching them, one embedded it self straight into the body of both Omnis, the others in Ino. With that, both spheres levitated from the gigantic light sphere as Ino's eyes were now a shining silver while the other, electrum.
"OMI DRA TIH CORAB ENECON, YRAMAI!!!" Omnis yelled out words in an unknown tongue, his words being otherworldly. Each of the first five words he spoke appeared on the five of the lines connected to Ino. And upon saying the last word, all the lines begun to move in one direction— towards the white sphere. Disappearing into her body, so did a silver light form up and began to swirl around her.
"Ino, remember one thing. Every being can succumb to the corruption of Taint." Looking down at her, Omnis stated being more serious than she'd ever seen.
"I won't disappoint you. Do pay me a visit sometimes." Ino yelled out with a smile up her face, slowly disappearing.
His eyes fixed on the sphere, still a bright electrum the silver light started darken up. "A dark one? Isn't Vrabam supposed to have a golden light instead?"
*********
Back in the pruned bushes of the garden around the large Elmore Mansion. The shadow swirling around the sphere at the center of it slowly regained it's colour though not a golden one this time round. As during the same time, the sphere itself also turned from a pitch black to that of a white one.
After a few minutes of changing from a dark light to a silver one, Ino could now be seen with her bright silver eyes and moreover, having five lines of light dangling behind her. For they were seemingly merged to her body, becoming a part of her. The words still engraved on it boldly, also bearing the colour of electrum.
"Where am I?" Ino mumbled, her eyes darting from side to side only to see plants with their spiritual energy sucked dry. Yet, upon her appearance, the dry branches slowly had life returning to it since the lost spiritual energy did the same. "What did Vrabam do to all of you? He's so destructive, can't blame him. We are just replica's of the Sphere Divine himself."
"Now where's the item I told him about, it was called a cloth — but where is it." Her eyes glanced around till she gaze fell on the object below.
"Why is there even a blank taboo scroll here in the first place? Didn't Kaleb Elmore give this to Thelma Yutina?" Ino causally stated with her eyes glowing for a second. Speaking as if she'd stood right there, during the handing over of the scroll.
"Um, did I just blank out there." She felt frozen and suddenly being unfrozen. Just like someone in a daydream or lost in thoughts would experience when snapped back to reality. Yet her's still felt different for some reason, as she knew something had left her mind. But trying to remember whatever it was, nothing came into mind— it was all gone as if it were never there. Still somehow she knew and was very sure that—
"What's this scroll doing here?"
"I feel like I'm being drawn in, even though I haven't moved an inch. So why is it getting closer and closer, no I'm rather going down." At her sides, the lines of light were all directed towards the object below. Trying to fight it as she got closet and closer, the tip of the lines disappearing into the scroll.
It was to no avail, no matter how she tried screaming out loud for help, there was none since the only guard around the area had yet to arrive. After all, that wouldn't have helped either, for it wouldn't be in any human's favor, if detected by any of them. For as a part of her body came into contact with the scroll, Ino disappeared into it and in the next second. The scroll had rolled up by itself, now laying on the bare soil as the establishment of the bond had been successfully completed.
*SSHHWUUM!
A portal opened up as the cosmic space which could be seen began to distort, and soon emerging out of it was Ino, having the lines of light dangling around her. They moved as if they were alive, working together like one entity though connected her.
"Whoooooaaa!" Ino's eyes widened up, amazed at the view before her. She didn't know how to even to describe what she was seeing and didn't know the words to start with— in awe at what she could see.
"So this is what a Sub-domain is, of course I wouldn't believe Omnis if he told me though."
