Chapter 54 - tree inserdent

As the soothing melody faded away, Kieraxys stirred in his sleep, his tiny claws releasing their gentle grip on my leg. I smiled, watching as he snuggled deeper into the warmth of my scales.

Mother and Father exchanged a warm glance, and then Father spoke up. "Tharros, why don't you take Kieraxys outside for some fresh air? The sun is shining, and it's a beautiful day."

I nodded, carefully lifting Kieraxys into my arms. He stirred again, this time opening his copper-colored eyes and gazing up at me. I smiled, feeling a surge of love and affection for my little brother.

"Let's go outside, Kieraxys," I said, my voice soft and gentle. "The sun is shining, and the fresh air will do you good."

Kieraxys blinked sleepily, but then a tiny smile spread across his face. He nestled deeper into my arms, and I could feel his tiny heart beating with excitement.

Together, we set off towards the cave entrance, ready to face the bright sunlight and the wonders of the outside world.

Pov Kieraxys

I snuggled deeper into Tharros' warm scales, feeling safe and cozy. I had been sleeping, but the sound of Tharros' soothing humming had faded away, and I was starting to wake up.

As I opened my eyes, I saw Tharros' gentle face smiling down at me. I blinked sleepily, trying to focus. Tharros' voice was soft and gentle, and he was saying something about going outside.

I yawned, feeling a bit groggy, but Tharros' words sparked something in me. Outside? That sounded exciting! I nestled deeper into Tharros' arms, feeling a thrill of anticipation.

Tharros chuckled and held me close, his scales warm and comforting. I felt his heart beating steadily, and I knew I was safe with him.

As we walked towards the cave entrance, the sunlight grew brighter, and I had to squint. But Tharros shielded me with his wings, protecting me from the harsh light.

I peeked out from under Tharros' wing, seeing the bright blue sky and the lush green trees. It was so different from the cozy darkness of the cave. I felt a sense of wonder and excitement, eager to explore this new world with Tharros by my side.

We found a tree to shadow us from the sun

As we walked, Tharros carefully scanned our surroundings, his eyes searching for the perfect spot to settle down. Finally, he spotted a beautiful tree with a wide canopy, its leaves a vibrant green and rustling softly in the breeze.

Tharros gently adjusted his grip on me, holding me secure as he walked towards the tree. As we reached the trunk, he carefully positioned us so that the tree's shadow fell across us, shielding us from the direct sunlight.

I gazed up at the tree's leaves, mesmerized by the way they danced in the breeze. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and I felt my senses come alive.

Tharros settled down beside me, his scales glistening in the dappled shade. He wrapped his tail around us, creating a cozy little nest. I snuggled deeper into his side, feeling grateful for this peaceful moment with my big brother.

I slammed my face on his silver scales chest, and it is very tough

Ow!

I slammed my face into Tharros' silver scales chest, and it was like hitting a solid wall. His scales were cool and smooth against my skin, but they were also incredibly tough.

I rubbed my face, feeling a bit dazed from the impact. Tharros chuckled and gently stroked my head with his claw.

"Easy there, little one," he said, his voice amused. "I know you're excited, but you don't have to tackle me."

I looked up at Tharros, feeling a bit sheepish. But he just smiled and pulled me into a warm hug.

"It's okay, Kieraxys," he said. "I'm happy to have you cuddle up to me anytime."

He pulled me in for a hug with his claws, and he is strong and muscle, and then he seems

As Tharros wrapped his claws around me, I felt a surge of excitement and safety. His strong, muscular arms enveloped me, holding me close to his silver scales chest.

For a moment, he just held me, his warmth and strength radiating into me. Then, he seemed to relax, his muscles easing as he let out a contented sigh.

His eyes, a deep, shining silver, gazed down at me, filled with affection and adoration. I felt my heart swell with love for my big brother, feeling grateful for the special bond we shared.

As we hugged, I could feel Tharros' heartbeat, strong and steady, and I knew that I was safe and loved.

I feel well protected with my super strong older brother

I felt a sense of security and comfort wash over me as I hugged Tharros. His strong, muscular arms and powerful claws made me feel safe and protected.

I knew that with Tharros by my side, nothing could harm me. He would defend me with his life, and I felt grateful for his unwavering dedication and love.

As I looked up at Tharros, I saw the fierce protectiveness in his eyes, and I knew that he would stop at nothing to keep me safe. I cooed and snuggled deeper into his chest, feeling happy and content.

Tharros smiled, his eyes shining with warmth. He gently stroked my copper scales, his touch soothing and gentle. I felt safe and loved, surrounded by Tharros' strong and protective presence.

Pov Tharros

As I held Kieraxys close, I felt a deep sense of contentment and love. His tiny copper scales glistened in the sunlight, and his soft coos filled the air.

I wrapped my tail around us, creating a cozy little nest, and gently stroked his scales with my claws. Kieraxys snuggled deeper into my chest, his tiny heart beating rapidly with excitement.

I smiled, feeling my own heart swell with love and protectiveness. As his big brother, it was my job to keep him safe and happy, and I took that responsibility seriously.

As we sat together in the warm sunlight, I felt grateful for this special bond we shared. Kieraxys was still so young, but he already brought so much joy and love into my life.

I chuckled to myself, thinking about how Kieraxys was still so small, but already showing signs of growing strength. As his big brother, I had a unique perspective on his development, and I was constantly amazed by his progress.

But even I had to admit, Kieraxys was surprisingly strong for his age and size. He had a fierce determination in his eyes, and when he set his mind to something, he wouldn't let go.

I smiled, thinking about how Kieraxys would grow and develop in the years to come. He was going to be a force to be reckoned with, and I was honored to be his big brother and guide him along the way.

As I held Kieraxys close, I couldn't help but think about our future together. I imagined us soaring through the skies, exploring the world, and facing challenges side by side.

Kieraxys stirred in my arms, and I looked down to see him gazing up at me with wide, curious eyes. I smiled, feeling a surge of love and pride for my little brother.

And a tree fell on top of us, but it landed on me, and I held my ground

I grunted, feeling the weight of the tree bearing down on me. But I refused to budge, using all my strength to hold the tree's massive trunk off of Kieraxys.

My scales creaked and groaned under the pressure, but I dug deep, finding the strength to keep my little brother safe. Kieraxys, sensing my tension, looked up at me with wide, frightened eyes.

I forced a reassuring smile onto my face, trying to calm him down. "It's okay, little brother," I whispered, my voice strained from the effort of holding the tree. "I've got you. You're safe."

As Kieraxys stepped back, I felt a surge of relief wash over me. He was safe, and that was all that mattered. I took a deep breath, focusing all my energy on holding the tree in place. My scales were starting to strain, and I could feel the weight of the tree bearing down on me.

But I refused to give in. I gritted my teeth, using every last bit of strength to keep the tree from crushing me. Slowly, centimetre by centimetre, I began to push the tree back, my muscles screaming in protest.

Finally, with one last heave, I managed to lift the tree off of me. I stumbled backwards, gasping for breath, but I kept my eyes fixed on Kieraxys, making sure he was safe.

Kieraxys looked at the mountain cave that was our home and flew towards it

I watched as Kieraxys flew towards the mountain cave, his small wings beating rapidly as he soared through the air. I smiled, feeling a sense of pride and wonder at how quickly he was growing and developing.

I took to the skies, following Kieraxys as he flew towards the cave. As we approached the entrance, I could see the familiar glow of the luminescent crystals that lined the walls, casting a warm and welcoming light over the interior of the cave.

Kieraxys flew straight into the cave, disappearing into the darkness. I followed close behind, my eyes adjusting quickly to the dim light. As I entered the cave, I could see Kieraxys already curled up in our nesting area, looking up at me with sleepy eyes.

A few minutes I couldn't handle keep holding anymore, and I....collapsed onto the soft, sandy floor of the cave, exhausted from holding the tree's weight earlier. A pained roar tore from my throat as I felt my scales crack and splinter from the strain. I let out a deep, ragged breath, feeling my muscles tremble with fatigue.

Kieraxys, sensing that I was hurt, crawled over to me and snuggled up against my side. He let out a soft whimper, nuzzling my scales gently. I wrapped a protective claw around him, holding him close as I closed my eyes, wincing in pain.

I wispper "please go get mother or father, and I know you still can't talk yet, but please"

Kieraxys looked up at me with big, round eyes, and I could sense his understanding. He nodded his head, and then quickly scrambled to his feet. With a determined look on his face, he took off running, his little legs moving as fast as they could as he disappeared into the darkness of the cave.

I lay there, wincing in pain, but feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that Kieraxys would find our parents, and they would come to help me. I just had to hold on until then.

Pov Kieraxys

I ran as fast as my little legs could carry me, my heart pounding in my chest. I had to find Mother or Father, I just had to. Tharros was hurt, and I could sense his pain.

I darted through the winding tunnels of our cave, my scales scraping against the rough walls as I turned corners. I knew these tunnels like the back of my claw, and I didn't hesitate as I ran.

Finally, I saw a light up ahead and heard the sound of Mother's voice. I burst into the chamber, out of breath and frantic. Mother looked up, concern etched on her face. "Kieraxys, what's wrong?" she asked, rushing to my side.

I tried to explain, but all that came out was a series of anxious chirps and whimpers. Mother's expression turned serious, and she quickly followed me as I led her back to Tharros.

Father look at me confused

Father's expression changed from concern to confusion as he looked at me. "Kieraxys, what's going on?" he asked, his deep voice gentle. "You're not making any sense, little one."

I tried again, making anxious sounds and gesturing wildly with my claws. Father's confusion deepened, and he looked at Mother, who was examining Tharros's injuries.

Mother realized and questions "Where is tharros? Didn't he go with you to keep on eye on you?"

I let out a frantic series of distressed whimpers and anxious growls, gesturing wildly towards the tunnel that led to the entrance of the cave. Mother's eyes widened in alarm, and she quickly stood up, her light green scales rustling against the rocky floor.

"Aetherius," she said, her voice urgent. "I think Tharros is hurt. Kieraxys is trying to tell us something."

Pov Tharros

I lay there, my silver scales cracked and splintered from the weight of the tree trunk pinning me down. I could hear Kieraxys's frantic whimpers and anxious growls echoing through the cave, and I knew he was trying to get help. I tried to call out to him, but my voice was weak and barely audible.

Just as I was starting to lose hope, I heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the cave, growing louder with each passing moment. Mother's voice called out, urgent and worried. "Tharros! Oh, Tharros!"

I tried to respond, but all that came out was a faint whisper. Father's voice was next, calm and reassuring. "We're here, son. We've got you."

I whispered, "Please help me"

Father's voice was gentle, but urgent. "We will, Tharros. Just hold on." I felt a surge of relief as Father and Mother began to work together to lift the tree trunk off me. Their scales glistened with effort as they strained against the weight, their claws digging into the wood.

Slowly, centimetre by centimetre, they managed to lift the trunk, and I felt the pressure ease. I took a deep breath, wincing in pain, but grateful to be free. Mother and Father carefully lowered the trunk to the ground, and then turned to me, their faces etched with concern.

Mother uses healing magic to repair my silver scales

Mother's eyes shone with a soft, white light as she placed her claws on my damaged scales. I felt a warm, soothing energy emanating from her, and my silver scales began to glow with a gentle, ethereal light. The cracks and splinters in my scales started to mend, the broken pieces reforming and smoothing out as Mother's healing magic washed over me.

I let out a sigh of relief as the pain began to subside, replaced by a sense of calm and well-being. Mother's magic was like a balm to my battered scales, and I felt my strength and vitality beginning to return.

Given the severity of your injuries, I've kept the light color as white, indicating a high-level or ultimate healing magic.

As Mother's healing magic continued to flow through me, I felt my strength and vitality returning. The pain had almost completely subsided, replaced by a sense of calm and well-being. I looked up at Mother, my eyes filled with gratitude.

"Thank you, Mother," I said, my voice weak but sincere.

Mother smiled, her eyes shining with warmth. "Anytime, Tharros. You're safe now."

Father, who had been watching the scene unfold, nodded in agreement. "We're just glad you're okay, son. We were worried sick when Kieraxys came to us, frantic."

I looked around, realizing that Kieraxys was still by my side, his copper scales glistening with worry. I smiled weakly at him, trying to reassure him that I was okay.

Just then, Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix appeared at the entrance of the cave, their eyes wide with concern. "Tharros! Are you okay?" Lyriath asked, rushing towards me.

I nodded, still feeling a bit weak. "I'm fine, thanks to Mother's healing magic."

The others gathered around, relieved that I was safe. But as they looked at me, I could sense a mix of emotions: worry, relief, and something else... something that looked almost like fear.

All my siblings ran, jumping on me with a hug

I laughed, feeling a bit overwhelmed but happy to be surrounded by my loving siblings. We all tumbled to the ground in a heap, our scales clattering together as we hugged each other tightly.

"Easy, easy!" Mother chuckled, trying to intervene. "Tharros is still recovering, remember?"

But my siblings just giggled and continued to squeeze me, their excitement and relief at seeing me safe and sound overwhelming their sense of caution. I didn't mind, though - it felt wonderful to be surrounded by their love and affection.

As we hugged, I felt a sense of gratitude and belonging. My family was always there for me, no matter what dangers or challenges we faced. And in that moment, I knew that everything was going to be okay.

As we finally managed to untangle ourselves from the group hug, Father cleared his throat to get our attention. "Now that we've established Tharros is safe and sound, let's get him fed and rested. He's had a long day."

My stomach growled in agreement, and my siblings chuckled. Mother smiled and nodded. "I'll go catch some fish for lunch. Lyriath, Vyraxys, help me."

The three of them set off towards the nearby stream, leaving Father to help me to my feet. My legs felt a bit wobbly, but with Father's support, I managed to stand upright.

Kieraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix looked up at me with concern, but I reassured them with a smile. "I'm fine, guys. Just a bit shaken up."

Father nodded. "Let's get you fed and rested. We can talk about what happened later."

I nodded, already feeling my eyelids growing heavy. A warm meal and a good rest sounded like just what I needed.

As we walked towards the cave entrance, the sound of gurgling water and chirping birds filled the air. The warm sunlight on my scales felt comforting, and I took a deep breath, letting the tranquility of the surroundings wash over me.

Father guided me to a comfortable spot near the cave entrance, where I could rest and watch the others prepare lunch. Kieraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix settled in around me, their eyes still filled with concern, but also with a sense of relief.

Before long, Mother, Lyriath, and Vyraxys returned with a bounty of fresh fish, which they laid out before us. The smell of fresh catch filled the air, making my stomach growl with anticipation.

As we dug in, devouring the raw fish with relish, Father smiled at me. "Glad to see your appetite is still intact, Tharros."

I smiled back, feeling a sense of gratitude for my family's love and care. As we shared the meal together, I knew that everything was going to be okay.

Mother smiled. "Since the fish a very big is normal size nowadays and it was not always this big before Kieraxys hatched"

Father chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Ah, yes. The fish in our stream have indeed grown larger over the years."

Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix exchanged knowing glances, their eyes sparkling with understanding. Lyriath spoke up, "We know the fish have evolved to grow bigger, Father."

Mother smiled warmly. "That's right, dear. The fish have adapted to their environment, and we're lucky to have such an abundant food source."

Kieraxys, who was lying next to Mother, let out a tiny squirm and a soft growl, unaware of the conversation but happy to be surrounded by his family. Mother gently nuzzled him, and the others smiled at their little brother.

As we finished our meal, Father stood up, stretching his wings. "Now that we're all fed, let's take a moment to relax. We can take turns keeping watch later."

The others nodded in agreement, and we all settled in for a well-deserved rest. I snuggled up close to Father, feeling his warm wings envelop me in a comforting embrace. This was my safe haven, the place where I felt most protected and secure.

As I drifted off to sleep, I could hear the sound of Kieraxys' gentle growls and the soft rustling of my siblings' scales as they shifted positions. Father's wings wrapped tightly around me, shielding me from any potential dangers and filling me with a sense of peace and belonging.
