(MIRABEL)
"Why are you here? I'm really surprised," Jameson asked, his voice laced with skepticism.
Mirabel grinned mischievously. "I'm here to see you, I really miss you a lot." She said.
Jameson raised an eyebrow. "Wow, really? After you left without telling me anything?" He asked.
Mirabel's grin faltered for a moment before she recovered.
"I'm sorry, okay? I'm back now." She said.
She hugged Jameson again, and this time, he didn't pull away. Victoria's eyes narrowed, her temper simmering just below the surface. She had to keep calm, for now.
"Wow, Way, look at you, you look so different," Mirabel said, sauntering over to Wayne.
Wayne glared at Jameson before turning to Mirabel.
"It's been a long time, Mirabel" he muttered.
Mirabel's smile grew wider.
"Let's go out and have fun, Jamie. Just like old times." She said.
"Yeah, let's do it."Jameson nodded.
As they walked away, Lexi felt like she'd been punched in the gut. She couldn't say anything, couldn't move.
Gemma turned to Jordan and Freddie, her eyes wide with curiosity.
"What's going on? Who is she?" She asked as they sat down beisde her.
"That's Mirabel, Jameson's ex-girlfriend. She was the reason he fought with Wayne." Jordan said.
Gemma's eyes widened.
"Wow, and why did he look so happy to see her?" She asked.
Freddie shook his head.
"I don't know, he looks so different right there that I didn't even know what he's thinking." He muttered.
Jordan turned to Lexi, concern etched on his face. "Are you okay, Lexi?" He asked.
"Of course, I'm fine. I'll just go to my class."Lexi forced a smile.
She stood up, her legs shaking slightly as she walked out of the cafeteria. What was going on? Why was Jameson acting like this? And who was Mirabel, really?.
"She is not okay" Gemma muttered.
"I was about to say that" Jordan agreed.

"Wow, I didn't know our parents left this much for them," Mrs. Newton said, her eyes wide with surprise as she stared at the documents in front of her.
Mr. Newton chuckled. "Like I'm jealous, so Dad loved his grandson more than his son," he joked, shaking his head.
"It's obvious, they are so lucky."Mrs. Newton smiled.
Mr. Newton's expression turned serious.
"So what are we going to do with it?" He asked.
Mrs. Newton raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean by 'we'? It was given to them both, let them do what pleases them. We won't interfere, and I'm sure they'll make us proud. They're both studying business administration, remember?" She said.
Mr. Newton nodded thoughtfully.
"True, let's just watch, but that doesn't mean I won't interfere if they're choosing the wrong path." He said.
"I trust you."Mrs. Newton laughed.
Meanwhile, Janelle was standing at her window, her eyes fixed on Zayne's window. She was expecting him to come to her room, like he usually did, but it didn't seem like he was coming tonight. She contemplated sneaking through her window to go to him, but changed her mind.
Just then, she saw Zayne come out of the mansion, and her heart skipped a beat. She was about to call out to him when she saw a girl hugging him, and her heart sank. She watched in disbelief as they climbed onto his bike, the girl wrapping her arms around his waist, and they zoomed off into the night.
Janelle felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she sat back down on her bed, feeling betrayed and hurt. So Zayne was ignoring her now, and had already moved on to another girl? What a jerk.
As she sat there, trying to process her emotions, she couldn't help but wonder who this new girl was, and what she had that Janelle didn't. She felt a pang of jealousy, which she quickly pushed aside. She wasn't going to let Zayne win.

The Thompsons were waiting anxiously for their daughter, Victoria, to return home from school. She had left that morning without a wordword and it's 12am and she isn't back yet, and now, hours later, she burst through the front door, slamming it behind her.
"Victoria, where have you been?" Mr. Thompson asked, rising from his chair.
But Victoria just walked past them, her eyes flashing with anger.
"Why do you care?" she scoffed, her voice dripping with disdain.
"Victoria, you can't speak to your father that way," Mrs. Thompson intervened, trying to calm the situation.
"And you should have called us to let us know you'd be late. We were worried sick." She added.
But Victoria just rolled her eyes and continued up the stairs.
"Fuck off mum" she said before slamming her bedroom door behind her.
"This is getting worse," Mr. Thompson groaned, rubbing his temples.
"I'm so tired of this attitude." He said.
"Let's forget about it for now," Mrs. Thompson suggested.
"Maybe we should go upstairs and try to talk to her, see what's wrong." She said.
But Mr. Thompson shook his head and headed for his office.
"I'm not dealing with this right now." He said.
"David, listen!" Mrs. Thompson called after him, but he just ignored her and shut the door behind him.
"David, David!" she yelled, pounding on the door. "You can't just ignore your daughter like this!"
But Mr. Thompson just sighed tiredly and lay down on the couch in his office, covering his eyes with his arm.
"I'll break this door down if you keep ignoring me!" Mrs. Thompson threatened, her voice rising.
"David you bastard" she yell and started pounding on the door with all her power.
"Mad people," Mr. Thompson muttered to himself, shaking his head in frustration.
As the argument escalated, Victoria remained locked in her room, her anger and frustration simmering just below the surface.

THE NEXT DAY
Janelle waited patiently for Zayne at the library, her mind wandering to their previous encounter. She had been looking forward to their lesson all morning, and was surprised when Zayne called to say he wanted to meet earlier than usual.
As she sat at their usual table, she couldn't help but wonder where Zayne was going that he wouldn't be available at lunch. Was he going on a date? The thought made her stomach twist with jealousy.
When Zayne arrived, he looked so handsome that Janelle almost lost her breath. She quickly looked away, trying to compose herself.
"Let's start," Zayne said coldly.
Janelle nodded, trying to focus. "Hmm mm yeah yeah," she said nervously.
Zayne started teaching, his mannerisms similar to the previous day. No smile, no joke, just straight teaching. He even asked her a lot of questions to see if she was concentrating, which made Janelle feel like she was under a microscope.
As the lesson came to a close, Zayne stood up.
"See you tomorrow then, have fun," he said, his eyes already looking past her.
Janelle watched as he walked away, feeling frustrated and confused. Why was Zayne being so distant? What had she done wrong?
As she sat there, something suddenly told her to talk to him. They couldn't continue this way, with Zayne treating her like a stranger.
She quickly got up and ran after him, her heart pounding in her chest.
"Zayne, wait!" she called out, just as he was about to turn the corner.
But before she could reach him, a girl suddenly ran into his arms, giggling and smiling up at him. Janelle's heart sank as she realized it was the same girl from last night.
She stood rooted to the spot, watching as Zayne smiled and hugged the girl back. Janelle felt like she had been punched in the gut.
As they walked off together, Janelle was left standing alone, feeling lost and confused. What was going on with Zayne? And who was this girl?.

Lexi arrived in school, looking sad and downcast. She had waited for Jameson throughout the previous night, but she wasn't sure if he came home because she had fallen asleep while waiting.
As she walked through the hallway, lost in thought, someone said "Hey" behind her, disrupting her thoughts. She muttered "Hey" back, without even looking up, until she saw Wayne standing in front of her.
"Are you okay? You look down," Wayne asked, his voice laced with concern.
"I'm okay, you don't have to worry," Lexi replied, trying to brush it off.
But Wayne persisted. "I know you're shocked. I told you he isn't a nice person. He went right back to his ex, totally forgetting about you." He said.
Lexi felt a pang of hurt at his words, but she tried to stay strong.
"Are you here to mock me now?" she asked, her voice firm.
"No, I'm here to tell you that you can still escape now, before you get trapped," Wayne said, his eyes serious.
Lexi raised an eyebrow.
"I don't need to escape," she said, and started to walk away.
But Wayne stopped her.
"Do you know that Jameson and I used to be very close? We were best friends, everyone knows. But we started fighting during our senior year in high school." He said.
Jameson's curiosity was piqued. "What caused the fight?" she asked, turning back to face him.
Wayne's expression turned bitter. "It's Mirabel. She was my girlfriend, I introduced her to him, and he warned me against her. And the week that followed, I found out they were dating. He didn't even feel remorseful about it. Can you believe that?" He asked.
Lexi's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"Is that why you can't leave me alone?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Wayne's expression softened. "No, Lexi. I really love you. I know it may seem weird, but I do." He said.
Lexi didn't say anything, she just turned and walked away, her mind reeling with what she had just heard.

"It's okay if you don't want to see the game, we can just go home," Gemma said as they walked towards the basketball court. There was a game today, and Lexi had been dreading it all morning.
"Let's go, I told you I'm okay," Lexi faked a smile as they found a spot at the front row. But as soon as Jameson and his teammates showed up, Lexi's anxiety spiked. Jameson didn't even look at her, he was staring at a particular direction, and when Lexi traced his gaze, she saw him smiling at Mirabel.
Lexi felt a pang of jealousy and hurt, he had totally forgotten about her since Mirabel showed up. She stared at her fingers as the game started, trying to distract herself from the pain. But it was no use, Jameson and Mirabel's flirting was like a slap in the face. Gemma looked at Lexi worriedly, she really hated it when Lexi was sad.
"Let's just go, the game isn't even interesting," Gemma scoffed, trying to convince Lexi to leave.
But Lexi was determined to stay, she wanted to see the game through, no matter how much it hurt.
"Let's watch till the end," she said.
As the game went on, Jameson's team won by ten points, and Mirabel ran into the court, throwing herself into Jameson's arms. They hugged and started kissing, and Lexi couldn't bear it anymore. She ran out of the stadium, Gemma running after her.
"Lexi, wait!" Gemma called out, but Lexi didn't stop. She kept running until she was out of the stadium, gasping for air.
"Are you okay?" Gemma asked worriedly, as Lexi ran into the bathroom, tears streaming down her face.
Lexi nodded, but her body language said otherwise.
"I think they are dating now," she cried, her voice shaking.
Gemma pulled her into a hug.
"Don't cry because of him, he isn't serious at all. He left you, and he hasn't even broken up with Victoria yet." She said.
Lexi sniffled, feeling a mix of emotions.
"I don't know what to do," she said, feeling lost.
Gemma held her at arm's length. "Don't worry, my mum called me. She said they want me to come to Spain at the end of this semester." She said.
Lexi's eyes widened. "That's in a few months. Why?" She asked.
"They just want me around. I can apply to a university there, and I can apply for you too if you want. We can stay with my family; they are very nice. We could live alone too if you prefer that."Gemma shrugged.
Lexi's mind raced with the possibilities. She had never considered leaving the country before, but the idea of escaping her current situation was tempting.
"I don't know what to say," she said, feeling overwhelmed.
Gemma smiled. "You can think about it. We still have more than two months. I'll just apply now for us both. You can reject it by that time if you don't want to follow me. I just don't want to see you sad or hurt." She said.
Lexi felt a wave of gratitude towards Gemma. "Thank you so much. I love you," she said, hugging her tightly.
Gemma hugged her back. "You know I love you too. Let's have fun. We'll go shopping." She said.
Lexi nodded, feeling a sense of hope for the first time in weeks. Maybe this was the fresh start she needed.

Gemma and Lexi approached the school parking lot, chatting and laughing as they walked. But their carefree afternoon was suddenly disrupted by a commotion ahead. Victoria stormed past them, her eyes blazing with anger, and intentionally bumped into Lexi as she went to grab Mirabel, who was about to enter her car.
"What did you want from my man?" Victoria yelled, her voice echoing across the parking lot. "Why can't you leave my man alone?"
Mirabel snapped back, her eyes flashing with defiance. "Let go of my hair, what man are you talking about?"
Victoria's grip on Mirabel's hair tightened. "You know exactly who I'm talking about. Jameson belongs to me, and you need to stay away from him."
Mirabel smirked, her lips curling up in a sneer. "Convince yourself with that, but Jameson has been mine before you even met him."
Victoria's face turned red with rage. "Bitch!" she yelled, and slapped Mirabel across the face.
Mirabel immediately returned the slap, and the two girls started fighting, dragging each other's hair and rolling around on the ground. The crowd that had gathered to watch cheered and jeered, but no one intervened to separate them.
Gemma and Lexi stood frozen in shock, unsure of what to do.
"Let's go," Lexi finally said, and they both turned to leave.

NIGHTTIME
Lexi waited in the sitting room, checking her watch for what felt like the hundredth time. It was late already, and Jameson still hadn't returned home. She was starting to get worried, wondering if something had happened to him.
Just as she was about to give up and go to bed, she heard voices coming from the entrance. She quickly hid beside the freezer, her heart racing with anticipation.
As she peeked around the corner, she was surprised to see Jameson and Mirabel walking in together, holding hands. They looked like they were in their own little world, giggling and whispering to each other.
"You have a very beautiful place," Mirabel said, looking around the room with admiration.
"Yeah, I'm really proud of it," Jameson replied, smiling at her. "You should see my room too."
Mirabel raised an eyebrow, and they both started giggling as they went upstairs. Lexi watched in disbelief, her mind racing with questions. What was going on? Why was Jameson being so flirtatious with Mirabel?
She quickly went upstairs and closed the door behind her, trying to process what she had just seen. She couldn't believe how quickly Jameson had changed yet again.
