(RIDICULOUS MARRIAGE)
"Jameson, you are going to marry Lexi," Mr. Newton announced, dropping the bombshell.
The room erupted into shocked gasps and disbelieving stares. Jameson's eyes widened in horror, while Lexi's face turned beet red.
"What?!" Jameson exclaimed, his voice laced with disgust.
"No way!" He scoffed, he can't believe what he is hearing right now.
"You hear us and you don't have any say in this" Mrs Newton said.
"You are kidding me right?" Jameson asked gently.
"Am i smiling?" His dad asked seriously.
"This is bullshit" Jameson muttered angrily, he glared at Lexi who was still in shock before storming out of the house.
Lexi's eyes brimmed with tears as she shook her head, her mind reeling in shock.
"But why?" Victoria asked, her voice trembling.
"This doesn't make any sense!, You all know I am with Jameson, how could you do this, Dad" she yell angrily.
"Calm down sweetheart" Mr. Thompson muttered gently.
"I can't, I hate you" she yell before running upstairs. Lexi finally recovered from her shock and stood.
"Marriage is not a decision you can make for us" she said before going upstairs too.
"Don't mind her, she will never disrespect me" Mr. Thompson assure the Newtons.
"I will talk to my son too, I know just how to hook him" Mrs Newton said.
"Also i think you should visit us tomorrow, we have to talk about the wedding, we can't waste more time" Mr. Newton said.
"We will be there" Mr. Thompson said.

The Newtons arrived home, they met Jameson at the living room watching movie. Mr. Newton was furious.
"Jameson, how dare you leave like that!" he thundered. "You embarrassed us in front of the Thompsons!"
Jameson shrugged, his eyes flashing with defiance.
"I don't care. I won't marry Lexi. She's a thief and a liar." He said.
Mrs. Newton gasped, her hand flying to her mouth.
"Jameson, how can you say such things?" She asked sadly.
"Because it's true!" Jameson exclaimed. "And I won't marry someone like her. I love Victoria, and I want to be with her, not Lexi." He yelled.
Mr. Newton's face turned red with rage.
"You'll do as we say, Jameson. You'll marry Lexi and secure our family's future. If you refuse, you'll be disinherited. You'll have nothing!" He threatened.
"Wow, has it gotten to this extent?" Jameson asked.
"It has so you will do what I said" His father said.
Jameson's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in anger.
"I don't care about your properties or your money. I won't marry someone I don't love." He said and started leaving.
"Jameson, think about your future. You'll soon graduate from college, but without our support, you'll have nothing. No job, no home, no security."Mrs. Newton pleaded, trying to reason with him.
Jameson stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.
"I'd rather have nothing than marry Lexi!" he shouted back.
The Newtons looked at each other, worried and frightened. They knew Jameson was stubborn, so it wasn't surprising.
"He will come around, I am sure of that" Mrs. Newton assured her husband.
"What's all the noise about?" Janelle asked, rubbing her eyes as she came downstairs. She looked stunning in her yellow sundress, her long brown hair cascading down her back. She is Jameson's younger sister, she is seventeen year old, she is still in highschool.
"Why are you still up?" Mrs. Newton asked, frowning. "Aren't you going to school tomorrow?"
"I wouldn't be up if you guys hadn't woken me up with your loud screaming."Janelle yawned.
"Janelle, go back to bed. This doesn't concern you."Mrs. Newton sighed.
But Janelle was curious.
"What's going on?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with interest.
"Janelle, go to your room. Now."Mr. Newton frowned.
Janelle rolled her eyes. "Okay, whatever." She scoffed and went back upstairs, her bare feet pattering on the stairs.
She went to Jameson's room and knocked, but there was no response. She tried the door, but it was locked.
"Jameson, open up!" she whispered, but he didn't answer.
Shrugging, Janelle went back to her room, wondering what was going on. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something was seriously wrong.
As she changed into her pajamas, she heard muffled voices coming from Jameson's room. She pressed her ear against the wall, trying to listen in.
"Jameson, please open up!" she heard "We need to talk to you!"Mrs. Newton say.
But Jameson's response was muffled, and Janelle couldn't make out what he was saying.
She sighed and went to bed, wondering what was going on in her family.

Lexi was still reeling from the events of the day, her mind racing with thoughts of Jameson's disgusted look and her family's betrayal. She couldn't shake off the feeling of being unwanted and unloved. Her phone beeped, breaking the silence, and she saw a message from Wayne. She smiled weakly, grateful for the distraction.
"Can you come outside for a second?" the message read.
She looked out of her window and saw Wayne standing beside his car, looking concerned. She quickly ran downstairs, eager to escape her thoughts.
"How did you know my house?" she asked, trying to sound calm.
"You wrote it in your application letter. I just had to ask the manager."Wayne shrugged.
Lexi smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "So, why are you here?"
Wayne's expression turned serious.
"I heard what happened yesterday. That wasn't fair. I know you didn't do it. I'll tell my dad to fire the manager for doing that to you."He said.
Lexi's eyes welled up with tears.
"No, don't do that. It wasn't his fault. He was just doing his job." She said.
Wayne looked at her with concern.
"Are you alright? Did you cry again? Don't tell me they bullied you again?" He frown, he actually know a little about how her family treated her.
Lexi hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal.
"They didn't. I'll tell you when I'm ready." She said.
Wayne nodded understandingly.
"I just don't want you to be sad." He muttered. Lexi move into him and hug him gently, he hugged her back and started patting her back.
As they hugged, Victoria watched from her window, a sly smile spreading across her face. She took a photo of Lexi and Wayne and sent it to Jameson with a text.
"See you soon-to-be bride in another man's arms. Talking about a real slut. This is so much like her."
Jameson's eyes narrowed as he read the message, his mind racing with anger, he threw his phone away before laying back on his bed.

THE NEXT DAY
The Newtons welcomed the Thompsons into their grand mansion, their smiles and hugs a stark contrast to the tension that had been building. Lexi was enveloped in a tight embrace, her eyes widening as she was led into the dining room. Victoria's face twisted in a scowl, her fists clenched as she watched the attention lavished on Lexi.
As they sat down at the table, the maids began serving a sumptuous feast. Jameson's anger simmered just below the surface, his glare fixed on Lexi as he ate. Janelle, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to the tension, her camera clicking away as she snapped photos of the gathering.
"So, my wife and I have discussed it, and we think it would be best to have the wedding on Sunday," Mr. Newton announced, his voice booming across the table.
Lexi's eyes went wide, her fork hovering in mid-air as she stared at him in shock. Jameson's expression didn't change, but his mind raced with fury.
"Isn't this a bit too fast?" Mr. Thompson asked, his brow furrowed in concern. "Sunday is just two days away. At least they should get to know each other first."
Mrs. Newton's smile was tight-lipped.
"I don't think so. This wedding should have happened when Lexi turned twenty, three months ago, but you delayed it. She'll be going to college soon, and I want them married before then." She said.
"I guess we should start preparing then."Mrs. Thompson's smile was forced.
Victoria stormed out of the room, her anger palpable. Lexi's appetite vanished, her eyes fixed on Janelle's glare.
"You're really going to do this, aren't you?" Janelle hissed, her voice low and venomous.
"You're going to ruin everything." She accused.
Lexi's eyes stung, her heart heavy with the weight of their disapproval.
.
.
.
Lexi's hair was dragged roughly as she entered the mansion, her body flailing helplessly as she was pulled across the floor. She fell hard, her head hitting the cold, unforgiving marble with a sickening thud. Pain exploded through her skull, and her vision blurred.
"How could you take him away from me? You bitch!" Victoria's voice was shrill and hysterical, her words dripping with venom.
Lexi tried to defend herself, but Victoria's kicks landed with precision, each one aimed at her stomach, her chest, her face. Lexi curled up, trying to protect herself, but Victoria's anger seemed boundless.
The parents watched, their faces impassive, their eyes cold. They didn't intervene, didn't try to stop Victoria's rampage. They just stood there, their arms crossed, their expressions unyielding.
Lexi groaned in pain, her body trembling with each kick. She couldn't fight back, couldn't defend herself. If she did, Mrs. Thompson would join the fray, and Lexi knew she wouldn't stand a chance.
"Bitch, don't think you've won already," Victoria spat, her eyes blazing with fury.
"I'll never allow that." She scoffed.
With one final kick, Victoria stormed off to her room, leaving Lexi crumpled on the floor. The parents followed, their footsteps echoing through the hallway.
Lexi lay there, her body throbbing with pain, her heart shattered into a million pieces. She couldn't stop crying, couldn't catch her breath. She felt so alone, so vulnerable. That's what she has been experiencing since the woman came into their life, her father will intervene before but he suddenly stop caring.

A NIGHT TO THE WEDDING
Lexi was startled when she heard a knock at her window. She hesitated for a moment, wondering who it could be. She slowly got out of bed and approached the window, her heart racing with anticipation.
When she saw Jameson's face peeking through the window, she was shocked. She hadn't expected him to come to her room, especially not at this hour.
"Jameson, what are you doing here?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
He looked around nervously before responding.
"I need to talk to you about something. Can I come in?" He said.
Lexi hesitated for a moment before nodding and opening the window. Jameson climbed in and stood before her, his eyes pleading.
"Tomorrow is the wedding, and I don't want it. I know you don't want it either, right?" he asked, his voice laced with desperation.
Lexi nodded, her mind racing with questions. Why was Jameson here? Why was he asking her this?
"Oh...I mean...yeah," she stammered.
Jameson took a step closer.
"Make sure the wedding doesn't happen tomorrow. Do something, ruin it. You can do that, right?" He asked.
Lexi's eyes widened in shock.
"I...I...I don't know what you're asking me to do." She said.
Jameson's face was intense. "I'm asking you to help me stop the wedding. Please, Lexi. I'm counting on you."
With that, he turned and climbed back out the window, leaving Lexi stunned and confused. She couldn't believe what Jameson had just asked her to do.
As she lay in bed, she couldn't shake off the feeling that Jameson's request had left her with.

THE DAY
"The day" had finally arrived, and Lexi was transformed into a breathtaking bride. Mrs. Newton beamed with pride as she gazed at Lexi in her wedding gown, her eyes shining with happiness.
"You look so beautiful right now," Mrs. Newton exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion.
Lexi muttered a soft "thanks ma'am" as she fidgeted with her veil.
"What's that?" Mrs. Newton asked, her brow furrowed in concern.
"You should call me mum, dear. Your mum would be so proud and happy wherever she is." She added.
Mrs. Thompson rolled her eyes good-naturedly, but Lexi's mind was reeling. She couldn't believe what Mrs. Newton was saying.
"What do you mean?" Lexi asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mrs. Newton's smile faltered for a moment before she spoke.
"For you both to get married, that was her wish before her death. How I wish she was finally here to witness that." She smiled.
Lexi's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe her mother had wanted this too. She felt like she was trapped in a nightmare, with no escape.
"Oh," Lexi muttered, her mind racing with conflicting emotions.
Mrs. Newton seemed oblivious to Lexi's turmoil as she continued to primp and preen her.
"I was the one who put a pin in your mom's hair when she was getting married, and I'm glad I'm the one doing that to you too."
As Mrs. Newton placed a delicate hairpin in Lexi's hair, Lexi's mind wandered far away. She was torn between ruining the wedding and making her mother happy by granting her wish.
.
.
.
Jameson stood at the altar, his eyes fixed on the door as Mr. Thompson led Lexi down the aisle. She was stunning in her white wedding dress, her hair styled perfectly, her makeup flawless. Jameson's heart raced with anticipation, expecting her to make a scene, to try and humiliate him in front of their guests.
But as she approached, her eyes locked on his, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Jameson's anger and frustration simmered just below the surface, but Lexi's expression was serene, almost peaceful.
As they reached the altar, Mr. Thompson placed Lexi's hand in Jameson's, and they turned to face the minister. The ceremony was brief, the vows spoken quickly, but Jameson's mind raced with thoughts of how he could get out of this, how he could escape the trap Lexi had set for him.
But as they exchanged rings, and the minister pronounced them husband and wife, Jameson realized with a start that Lexi wasn't going to back out. She was actually going through with it.
A wave of anger washed over him, and he glared at Lexi, his eyes blazing with fury. How could she do this to him? How could she trap him into this loveless marriage?
Lexi met his gaze, her eyes sparkling with tears, but her expression remained calm, almost triumphant. Jameson's anger boiled over, and he knew he had to get out of there, had to get away from her before he lost his mind.
With a curt nod, he turned and strode away from the altar, leaving Lexi standing alone, a smile still on her face. The guests erupted into applause, but Jameson didn't look back, didn't acknowledge the cheers and whistles.

The party was finally over, and the guests watched as the new couple, Jameson and Lexi, entered the sleek Lamborghini that would take them to their new home. The crowd waved and clapped, but the atmosphere inside the car was far from celebratory.
The drive was silent, the only sound the soft hum of the engine and the occasional passing car. Jameson's anger simmered just below the surface, his jaw clenched in frustration.
Finally, he broke the silence, his voice cold and detached.
"So, you decided to betray me?" He asked coldly.
Lexi's eyes dropped, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I didn't have a choice."she said.
Jameson's laughter was harsh, mocking.
"You always have a choice, Lexi. And you chose to trap me into this ridiculous marriage." He said.
Lexi's defenses rose, her voice growing stronger.
"Why must it always be me? Why must I be blamed for everything? You could have ruined it too, why didn't you?" She asked
Jameson's eyes narrowed, his voice venomous. "You're really a bitch, just like I heard. You're looking for someone to ruin, and you've chosen the wrong person. I'll be the one ruining you, not the other way round."
Lexi's face paled, her eyes flashing with anger. "I didn't want this marriage either, Jameson. But I'm stuck with you now, just like you're stuck with me." She said but he wasn't listening.
Jameson's smile was cruel.
"Mark my words, Lexi. You'll regret ever getting married to me." He said coldly.
With that, he stormed out of the car, leaving Lexi shaken and breathless. She took a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself down, but her mind raced with thoughts of the tumultuous future ahead.
