The sun once again claimed the sky, and people entered the world once more. They sang, and the tower hummed. Deep within, at its heart, a council meant. Cloaked in golden robes, covered in blue jewelry. They sat at the table, made from royal marble. At it's heart a crystal laid in-bedded, it glowed a hollow green.
Sitting at the head of the table was Aervos. He who sat closest to Hope.
"Thank you for coming at such short notice. It is important that we discuss the child born last night, the state of the mother, and the disappearance of the father."
He waved his hands, the crystal turned a deep yellow, and his eyes now glowed the same.
"What is the state of the child?"
"He will live. The mother's reckless attempt will not go unpunished. Our tenets will be upheld, and none shall break them." Aervos said.
"The father?"
"There are whispers that he left the tower, just at the crack of dawn. A party of trackers have been sent after him, and he will not escape them." A voice said from the other side.
"Yavon, your spies are at work, I see. Good to know." Aervos stood. "The child shall be taken in, protected by an honored house. House Evos has made an offer, but the Havos has made a counter. Such interest in this child, should we be worried?" Aervos continued.
"Many claim him to be the Umbra Star, that which will free us from the moons' cruelty. Others speak of something else, but it matters not." Yavon rose from the table.
"Have you made up your mind?" Aervos asked.
"Yes, Evos must take the child and teach him the path of Hope." She replied
"Any rejection?" Aervos looked side to side, as the others stood. "Then it is done."
