The Sun rose, higher than usual. It's sparks of light casting away the Umbra shadows. The tower bloomed, and the people exited, joy filling the air. Within that foundation, the council sat at its heart once more.
The boy, now of the age three, stood before them. Venous of House Evos stood behind the child. His hands firmly wrapped around his shoulders.
"Today, we the Council shall grant House Evos power over this child. In Hope of a new and loving home. This power is granted to me by the Tower and its wisdom. Thus, my power binds child and family. Have you chosen his name?" Aervos asked.
"Aye, Exalted One. His name is Eros, for he shall be Love within Hope. As I am compassion within Hope." Venous answered.
"Then it is done. May your fates sing within the Tower, and you know its foundation." Aervos stood from his seat as a light radiated from him.
Together, Eros and Venous left the chamber. Entering a massive city, people walking about. They would stop and stare at them, some with snarls. Others with indifference. Some formed an interest, asking the Lord questions. He did not entertain either any of them, simply walked the child to a tall beast. On its back was a square wagon.
He lifted Eros and then entered. A loud crack could Ringed and the beast roared, moving down the street.
"Where is my mother?" Eros had finally spoken.
"You can speak? At such a young age." Venous asked.
Eros shocked his head, "I listened to the woman read."
"Interesting, you are indeed unique." Venous said.
