Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: The Civil War of the Family

In the previous chapter, Solomon, driven by anxiety and determination, rushed back to the embattled Victoria family estate. Now, the family's lands were in disarray—battles raged, and the air was filled with the deafening sound of combat.

"Is this what Alexander has done? He's dragged the family into such a brutal war!" Solomon muttered to himself, his eyes burning with fury as he surveyed the devastation around him.

In the midst of the chaos, Solomon quickly learned that the family had split into two factions. The supporters of Lord Alexander had gathered in a temporary stronghold, fervently discussing their cause.

"Lord Alexander commands great respect within the family, and his power is not to be underestimated. He will lead us to a brighter future. Collaborating with external forces is the perfect opportunity to make the family stronger!" A young family member waved his arms excitedly.

"Yes, following Lord Alexander will ensure the Victoria family secures a place of power in the Glory Continent!" another chimed in.

On the other side, the faction opposing Lord Alexander was equally passionate in their resistance.

"Betraying the family is an unforgivable crime! We must defend the family's loyalty and honour. We cannot allow Alexander's schemes to succeed!" An elder family member spoke sternly, his voice filled with determination.

"Yes, we must fight for the family, and for justice!" the others echoed in agreement.

Solomon wasted no time in joining the opposition. As soon as he appeared, his presence was like a steadying anchor, instantly boosting the morale of those around him.

"Solomon, you've finally returned! We need your strength!" A familiar face approached him, eyes full of hope.

"Don't worry, I will lead us to defeat these traitors and protect our family!" Solomon declared firmly.

The battle began in earnest. With the Sword of Stars in hand, Solomon fought like a war god, charging through the battlefield with unmatched ferocity. Each swing of his blade carried immense force, and his enemies fell before him.

"Charge with me! Let these traitors learn the cost of betraying the family!" Solomon shouted, rallying his comrades.

"For the family!" his allies responded in unison, their spirits lifted.

In the heat of battle, Solomon proved not only to be a fierce warrior but also a brilliant strategist. He keenly observed the battlefield and made quick decisions.

"Look, the enemy's left flank is weak. Let's concentrate our forces and launch a charge!" Solomon commanded, pointing towards the enemy's line.

"Yes, Lord Solomon!" His family members sprang into action, charging like tigers at the enemy.

This charge successfully broke through the enemy's defences and threw them into disarray.

"Good, now press the advantage!" Solomon seized the moment, continuing to issue commands.

At the same time, he selected a group of elite soldiers and formed a small team.

"Listen up, you'll circle around to the enemy's rear and strike unexpectedly, throwing their plans into chaos!" Solomon instructed his team.

"Understood!" The team members nodded, their expressions resolute as they swiftly moved out.

The civil war had taken a heavy toll on the common folk. Many civilians had lost their homes and were left homeless, their faces filled with fear and despair.

"We can't let the civilians suffer. We must protect them." Solomon thought, his heart heavy with compassion as he looked at their helpless faces.

He immediately ordered the family's soldiers to provide food, shelter, and security for the civilians.

"Lord Solomon, you are truly a good man. Thank you for saving us!" An elderly woman said, tears in her eyes as she expressed her gratitude.

"It's the least I can do. We are all part of the family, and I won't let you be harmed," Solomon said gently, offering them comfort.

Just as Solomon's side began to gain the upper hand in the conflict, Lord Alexander himself arrived on the battlefield.

"Solomon, do you think you can stop me? Today, you will learn the price of opposing me!" Lord Alexander shouted, riding a warhorse with arrogance in his voice.

"Alexander, you have betrayed the family and committed an unforgivable crime. Today will be your downfall!" Solomon retorted, undaunted.

The two men stood facing each other, their confrontation brimming with tension. The surrounding battle seemed to pause as all eyes focused on the two rivals.

But just then, a mysterious group of figures appeared in the distance. Cloaked in black robes, their faces hidden, they moved swiftly toward the battlefield.

"Who are they? What are they doing here?" A family member asked in astonishment.

Solomon's brow furrowed, an ominous premonition rising in his chest. Who are these mysterious figures? What role will they play in this family civil war? The arrival of these strangers could change everything.
