[ Chapter V (5): "NO REST FOR THE WICKED" ]

And here I thought the job of being a Principal to Hogwarts would be an easy task... I was definitely wrong.

Felix thinks to himself as he bathes in the sunlight the other world could offer, the DC World. As his messy dark hair glistens under it, his dark-green eyes that looks like contact lenses from other people's perspective which are hidden under dark sunglasses as he holds a container containing coffee on one hand.

Reminiscent of the days when he was just a mere student, in his original universe, worrying instead about missed assignments that he didn't do in his free time — not worrying about the future of wizarding kind, or another universe for that matter.

It does have its perks though.

He looks at the scenery of people going about their way past him, not caring about him at all as the dense pack of crowd in black, or what he considers as dull color walks past him. Either a phone on hand, or in quicken pace as they hurry to work.

His gaze lowers on the cup of coffee he is holding, looking at the name on the outside, written in dark marker. A mispronunciation of his name prevalent — [ FEHLEX ] what?! His name isn't even more than 5 letters, how do you even get that wrong? He isn't mad, just confused.

Nonetheless he didn't argue, the cocky accent of the barista that drags every time she talks, the chewing of gum. He couldn't handle her, yes, he could handle running a school for a year without going crazy, but not that — not anything like that. Screw that.

He swirls around his coffee, feeling the low quantity on it as he uses magic on it. A mere tap on the outside, and the quantity inside multiplied. A perk of his that others couldn't do, unless his in the Marvel Univ. in which someone named Dr. Could contest him.

But nonetheless, he knows that he isn't the most powerful wizard on earth currently, or the universe, or the strongest period. He is but a party wizard that knows of party tricks. And without the system of his, he wouldn't have been able to do a thing, just a no-maj on the sidewalk like the others.

But he isn't a no-maj, he is a wizard, no formal education of 7 years but that doesn't matter as he has the system to compensate for that. He has the ability to summon whatever the hell he wants, albeit of course he has enough money to do so. And to earn the specialized money the system requires, he needs to work.

Not just any work, but one specialized in education. The most high paying at the moment is being the Headmaster/Principal, Professor, Mailman, House Visitor, to all magically gifted children out there.

And for today he was tasked by his Deputy Headmistress to visit the kids' houses, to invite them to the wizarding world. Hogwarts letters on his person, and he has been doing this for days — teleporting throughout america, from rural areas to urban areas.

Indiscriminately inviting children one from another to the wonderful wizarding world, their parents, relatives, guardians freaking out of course. Like the case of one orphanage that is primarily catholic — he hit it off with the matron easily when he mentioned that he practiced faith, years ago.

Talking to her about the bible, problems in today's culture, slowly earning her trust, as he unknowingly slowly corrupts her with ideas. Thankfully he realized it quickly and changed the topic. Dropping instead the bombshell of being a wizard, and inviting two of the orphanage's children to be a wizard...

Poor her, she resembles his grandmother in some parts, so he felt kind of guilty in slightly hurting her faith. Witches and wizards are believed to be against God since olden times, burnings that may or may not be related to witches happened.

All because they could do something that goes against the natural laws of the world. They was burnt. But Felix is sure those aren't from the wizarding world kind of witches or wizards. He had only arrived here last year, and so magical riots throughout the world only happened then.

So he is sure that those witches in olden times aren't... Those witches are probably no-maj's that did something remarkable, or they were framed, or perhaps genuinely being a witch. He knows the DC Univ. is known for their magic, he doesn't remember exactly but one story in the DC Univ. reminds him of a Harry Potter look alike, he just doesn't remember the name — hope he encounters the kid.

Having finally felt energized, Felix stood up. His green suit fluttering in the air slightly as he moves from one place to another, amidst the dull crowd he looks like a sore pimple. Gaining attention in the business area of the city known as Metropolis.

Yes, that Metropolis. The one that the legendary Superman operates in, and through his study and research, he found out that Superman doesn't exist yet. So does Green Arrow of Star City, or Batman of Gotham City. Diana Prince of Themyscara, or other remarkable superhero, other than wannabes. None remarkable of course.

But in the case of the person he is visiting, oh, dear. The man, or, well the kid is more than remarkable. Being a genius, someone that already has a diploma under his name, winning championship here and there, rich beyond measure comparable to the Wayne's that are still alive to this day.

Thankfully. From what he remembers, they died when Bruce Wayne was 8, but he isn't 8. So there's a deviation with that. Same with the other heroes, supervillains, and people in this twisted version of the DC Univ. thankfully not twisted like the negative version of the multiverse in that...

Nonetheless this deviation is a problem to him, his knowledge about the DC Univ. that is halfly fact, one fourth guesses, and one fourth speculation is a problem. Greatly, he doesn't even remember who the hell Plastic Man's original identity is, he just knows that he is a criminal that is saved by Batman... Batman being a child in this version! So he knows nothing...

Nonetheless, he better starts with things he knows off. And that starts with this kid. Looking up at the skyscraper-like building in front of him, the twin towers with a giant sign in the middle like a bridge that he couldn't see here below, Felix couldn't help but gulp.

But nonetheless amidst the crowd of dark suited, brief case carrying, phone talking fellows, he mustered courage. As he tighten the brown tie on his neck, dusting off the dust from his brown trousers as he slowly enters the building — fitting in like a tuna, squeezing himself past the guards.

The guards which looks at him confused when he pulled out a 11inch black smooth stick, [ "It's a family heirloom. Brings goodluck to us." ] Coughing slightly, Felix explained. One that the man didn't believed in, nonetheless the scanners didn't show a problem.

Looking at him, the guard noticed a beverage. Coffee, the guy yearns coffee, and in not having his fill he stared at it hungrily. Felix noticing his gaze, gifted it to him, as the other guard scans him, not finding anything out of place other than a Golden Galleon — something they don't know the purpose of.

So, reluctantly even though he looks suspicious, the guards let him in, before ultimately moving on to the next person who wants to enter the building.

Walking up to the counter, with a blonde haired girl in an office clothing setting, looking dull and bored with her life, Felix greeted her. [ "Hello, I'm Felix Harp from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry — I came here to see Mr. Luthor." ]

Going straight to the point, as to not waste time. He is after all, needed to visit another 524 families for the rest of the 45 days he has before the school year officially starts.

Staring weirdly up at him, the woman momentarily pauses in seeing the cleanly shaven appearance of Felix. Not knowing what to do, she doesn't after all have the authority in letting anyone see the big boss of this billion dollar company.

Sighting to himself, Felix lowers his sunglasses letting the woman see his green-slithering eyes for a second. Speaking up to her as he slowly enchance her, with her being in a slight trance in seeing those mesmerizing green orbs.

[ "Then... Can I please know which floor Mr. Luthor is in, as of now?" ]

[ "S-seventh floor. M-Mr. Luthor is conducting a search, s-someone is suspected to have brought a weapon i-i... Huh?" ]

Lexy, who knows throughout the company for being tightly lip, and someone that operates like a robot couldn't believe and instead widen her eyes slightly as she then forces her mouth shut. Not knowing why she spoke too much to the stranger in front of her.

What are you doing?!!

Lexy couldn't help but stare in confusion, and in worry to the man. But in response to her worry, the man instead winks, reassuring her that he brings no harm. With a wink, Felix moved away, making his way to one of the many elevators in this building.

In this building known throughout the business world, and especially Metropolis as Luthor Corp. owned a runned by Lionel Luthor, the father of one of the greatest nemesis of the legendary Superman — billionaire megalomaniac, Lex Luthor. Kryptonite addict among other title.

But for today, he is nothing but a spoiled brat. Smart? Most definitely. Someone with magical affinity? Yes. And reluctantly, Felix have to enroll the kid in not wanting the brat to be an Obscurus.

There sure is, no rest for the wicked. Fuc-

[ "What floor, sir?" ] He turns to his side, noticing someone entering, one who's hands are preoccupied at the moment by a stack of documents. So in instinct, Felix asked the man what floor he'll be in, him being the closest to the elevator panels after all.

[ "S-seventh." ] Okay, what a nice coincidence, he clicks the seventh floor button and waits for the elevator door to close. Sad that someone ruined his monologue...

Damn it!
