[ Chapter VII (7): "WAYNE FAMILY, RESCUED" ]
[ "W-what's happening?!" ]
Damn, what's happening?
Those words immediately sipped out of the mouth of Felix who have his hair messed up due to multiple uses of Apparition in a single day. His clothes slightly messy due to him not casting any cleaning charm on it in-between teleportations.
His green eyes scanning everything going below as he stands on top of a building, looking down at an alley way that has an unconscious mugger, the weapon he uses slightly far away. One which was kicked by a blue-eyed, dark hair kid that Felix seems to be interested on... Not in that creepy way.
Shaking his head, Felix also noticed the gaze of two other people. A dark haired, couple, the father having blue-eyes, while the mother has black. The father dressed in an exquisite black suit, black trousers that he slightly envied.
The mother having a fur coat around her, slightly behind her husband, and a child closely behind her... Excuse me is this the Wayne Couple, and is that...?
Bruce Wayne?
Felix felt slight excitement in being a former, and still a current fanboy of Mr. Bruce Wayne, also known as the Batman. This being the most anticipated visit he have ever did throughout his time visiting multiple houses, families and such.
His face slightly showing a grin as he realized that he is on a high ground, staring down... His face going slightly pale as he ignores the sickness he is slightly feeling deep inside him, closing his eyes and shaking his head slightly.
In not wanting to bear this nagging feeling, he moved one feet forward onto the air, under the dismayed eyes of the Wayne Couple who kept waving their arms as if to say no. Words coming out of their mouths that he couldn't hear due to the air current slightly disturbing his ears.
But the more he comes down the more he could hear words like, don't do it young man, no, ahhh, screaming something along those lines, yeah, yeah. Opening his eyes, Felix was met with the cold hard floor and died...
Yeah, no, he pointed his purely black wooden wand on the floor and chanted a spell under his breath. Him not having been proficient in chantless, or wandless form of magic due to being exposed to magic only for a year. Yes, longer than the students, but not longer than them for two-monthish, something between those.
Under the bewildered gaze of Mr. Thomas Wayne, and Mrs. Martha Wayne née Kane the mysterious man who's messy looking pointed at the floor and in front of them a mysterious blue light appeared.
Confusing the Wayne matriarch and patriarch, also with their son — Bruce Wayne who was crying but seconds ago, now having his wishes be fulfilled by a mysterious enigma in the form of one annoyed looking man. Did he do anything wrong to earn that annoyed look?!
The spell Felix chanted wasn't perfect, almost slightly killing him in the process, causing his annoyance. No, at worse he would have been a vegetable which can be cured by a simple potion brewed by... Him.
Nonetheless he doesn't want to brew that, that's expensive. But thankfully the Aresto Momentum, also known as the Slowing Charm. Helpful in many cases, this being one, as Felix who's scared of heights looked down and noticed blue lights stops him from dying — a second later the lights disappear and he lands safely on the floor below with a thud, black oxford definitely not stolen shoes first.
Fixing his brown tie, with a reddish smug on it, ketchup due to him having eaten before apparating could be seen in it, Felix turned to the side but not before dusting off his messy but still exquisite dark green suit. Looking at the bewildered look the people are giving him, those who's seemingly frozen in the air in disbelief, he then remembered what's happening, oh, yeah.
[ "Huh-? Oh, yeah." ] Looking at the unconscious body on the floor, of a poorly dressed mugger with holes in his clothes. Joe...? Something-something, Felix doesn't remember the guy's name, probably Jack Napier, or Joker, but assuming that the guy doesn't have a pale white skin that doesn't seem to be the case.
Pulling an envelope from inside his sack o'magical, one hidden inside his suit's inner pockets. Felix who comically appeared out of nowhere, saved the Wayne's, that could possibly either end with the father and wife dying, or the son dying. He doesn't know. But in this version of the story, none is dying, he hates death, and killing after all.
So, subsequently everyone will live, if, well, he was given the chance to do so. People that'll supposed to die, will live. He'll start here, with Mart... ha? And, Mr... Thomas, yes, the loving parents of Bruce Wayne himself, Martha and Thomas Wayne, he thinks. Are those even the right names? Doesn't matter.
Approaching them steadily, Felix begins to speak, introducing himself. It definitely isn't suspicious at all.
[ "Hello~ Mr. and Mrs. Wayne, I'm Felix Harp." ] Waving his arms in the air, he addresses the questions which seems to be showing to the face of the couple who's looking at him worriedly.
Scared that they'll be hurt, or worse, their son to be hurt. Which something Felix wouldn't do, no matter what, but they don't know that.
Looking behind the Wayne Couple, he noticed a kid who's looking at him in fear, awe, confusion, and all other synonyms relating to those words. The blue-eyes of the boy shining in sharp contrast to his, which is green.
Huh... Cool kid.
Approaching the couple who's slowly starting to back away, Felix then realized that this approach wouldn't do, especially because the couple was almost mugged, or, worse, killed. So in realizing his mistake, he looked at them.
Seeing both the fear in their eyes, the matriarch eyes darting on the mysterious object he is holding; both at the wand, then at the envelope. Lady, this isn't Squid Game, don't worry. He wants to say that, but he'll probably come off as rude, or, worse, they wouldn't get the reference, so he refrain from doing so.
Instead he smiles at them warmly, genuinely feeling happy that they aren't dead, and that he got here as fast as he could thanks to the magical tracker imbued on the boy who's not enrolled in Hogwarts yet. Who will hopefully be enrolled after this interaction.
Casting a Cheering Charm on them, a simple charm he learnt from one Prof. Flitwick, a master of Charms, and also the Head of Ravenclaw back at Hogwarts, Felix felt relief, this simple charm have been useful throughout his time visiting houses, and introducing himself to freaked out parents, guardians, and nuns. Most definitely nuns.
In seeing them slowly ease up, he began to finally continue his introduction: [ "You tw- three doing alright, now?" ]
[ "Great, that's good. I'm the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I came here on the behalf of our school so that you may be aware tha- wait a moment please." ]
Hearing a groan right behind him, Felix put his hand up, the one carrying the wand as he then points at behind him. At the robber who's slowly starting to gain consciousness, about to stand up, which was instead met to the top of his head with the Stunning Charm; [ "Stupify!" ]
A dark green light coming out from nothing, manifesting as something, then ultimately out of the tip of his wand as it hit the guy, rendering the man unconscious again. Due to him not having mastered the spell, the effect isn't that effective as compared to the other skilled wizards and one witch that is currently staying in Hogwarts. But it is enough to handle a simple no-maj.
[ "So, ughhh. Where was I again?!" ] Awkwardly scratching his chin, he looks behind him, at the shocked gazes of the three, as he then realized where he left off the conversation. [ "Oh, yeah..." ]
Due to him having shown them magic first, it does feel appropriate to have them sign a non-disclosure magically binding contract first.
So with a wave of his hand, in the dark gloomy alleyway, a parchment reaching the floor appeared out of thin air, words written in dark ink following soon after. The magic show ending with a quill appearing with a pop; [ "Please Ma'am, Sir, sign here for your safeties. Plural word for safety." ]
[ "Please for the love of anything merlin, read this first before signing your signature eventually here." ] As if seemingly remembering something, Felix voiced it out, [ "Your child is a wizard by the way... Ma'am's, Sir's... I should have said that first, I should have said that first..." ]
[ "What?!" ] Looking at the weirdly dresses man that appeared out of nowhere, the Waynes couldn't help but be confused, even more as he begins to explain himself. This culminating, and ending with the son of the family widening his eyes, blurting out his thoughts. [ "I-I'm a... wizard?" ]
