[ Chapter VI (6): "MR. LUTHOR, YOUR SON IS A WIZARD" ]

Well, this isn't what I expected at all.

Felix who's dressed in his standard dark-green suit, and brown trousers couldn't help but wince slightly. The fact that being able to talk to one of the richest men in the world is that easy, made him wince slightly.

Out of all the house visits he have done, and will do throughout the month, this and another two is the toughest for him. He had come up with many alternative plans, it ranges from coming to the person, gaining his trust and telling him that his son is a wizard and that he has the option to enroll his son in Hogwarts.

But apparently that wasn't needed at all, hours of brain storming and worries being useless as he looks at the L'Oréal model-like figure in front of him. His hair fluttering to the side as mysterious air from nowhere waves it.

What have I gotten myself into?

Felix reminiscent of the approach he did, apparently going up to the heavily guarded big boss of Luther Corp. and levitating everything in the office he's in was enough to convince him. And now here he is, at the tallest floor of the building other than the rooftop.

At the man's office, having done explained the concept of magic, the importance of magic. And the way to control it. Stressing the point that he doesn't want any rogue wizard to be an Obscurus — that'll happen of course if they don't learn to control their magic.

[ "Mr. Luthor, I don't really usually do this. But, please, your son is gifted with magic, something that not everyone has." ]

[ "If he doesn't receive proper guidance in learning magic, then... I'm sure you'll know what'll happen to him, from the stories I've told." ]

Trying to maintain composure, Felix who have visited 500+ houses throughout his time in being the Headmaster couldn't help but sweat slightly. The figure in front of him being important, to him at this moment.

Why? Because the system doesn't allow him to admit any student into Hogwarts unless they get permission from their parents, or guardian figure. If they don't have permission, then they wouldn't be able to enter the Wizarding World — getting booted out, and banned.

And he doesn't want that to happen to Mr. Lex Luthor, the future smartest man in the DC. Univ other than Mr. Bruce Wayne who's also known as Batman. And the fact that the kid has magic, which he didn't have in the original story frightened him.

If the guy just wanted to kill one man, one superhuman man, one of the survivors of a dying planet. An alien, who's, if Felix isn't wrong weakness is magic, then that'll be a problem — most definitely.

[ "Your son. Mr. Luthor, your son is a Wizard..." ]

He sips from the cup of coffee in front of him, trying his best to maintain his nerve, and not to appear as weak. Not wanting the man in front of him, Mr. Luthor, the patriarch of the Luthor Family to notices his chaotic mind at the moment.

A mind that is too scared in knowing the possible downsides in Lex Luthor not being enrolled in Hogwarts, or at the very least learns to control his magic.

He looks up, at the man's seemingly smiling face, imagining it as gloomy. Hoping in the next second that he doesn't have to fight his way out of this damn 100+ floored building. His eyes momentarily trailing at the huge panel to the side, showing off the height of the building his in...

Felix's scared of heights, amongst other things like the Deputy Headmistress, spiders, or clowns, or something that has more than two-eyes, and more legs. Throughout the years that lessened, but the fear is still there — he blames his uncle who loves collecting spiders, and in scaring him when he was but a child. Screw that man.

So the shaking of his body, tapping of his feet, sweating of his palms, and loudly beating thump of his heart is not just for show. Him licking his lips to cool it, isn't either. As he looks at Mr. Luthor who's deeply concentrated thinking behind his desk.

[ "Mr. Luthor, Lex- your son doesn't necessarily need to be enrolled at Hogwarts he just needs to learn the basics of magic for his body not to explode." ]

[ "People who are gifted in magic, especially children are very dangerous things. They'll explode like a bomb if they were to get... emotional." ]

[ "I know that you might not trust me, but please si-" ]

Felix who's running out of wits, especially because he doesn't have that many couldn't help but spit out words, all-being facts for he doesn't like lying that much. Especially when he doesn't have to, and because his words are genuine.

[ "I believe you." ]

He doesn't want to see one Lex Luthor dressed in a mecha armor enchanted with magic... Screw that. But before he could get his words out, or repeat what he said earlier, he was unexpectedly cut off — by the silent man who have been listening since earlier.

[ "Excuse me sir, what?" ] Scratching his ears as if it have failed him, Felix couldn't help but slightly chuckle at himself. Are my ears deceiving me?

[ "You heard me, Lex, my son will enroll in your institution. Now, how much is tuition?" ] Apparently his ears wasn't tricking him, the ear-to-ear smile the patriarch is showing him is proof enough.

[ "Huh... Oh, ugh, sir Hogwarts is a public school, we don't accept tuition. All the basic necessities your child needs throughout his 7 year education is covered by us; food, clothes, pets, shelter, wands." ]

Before he could even finish his speech, Felix was caught off-guard by Mr. Luthor abruptly stands up, the priceless looking chair behind him toppling loudly as he screams; [ "Wands! Absolutely brilliant!" ]

[ "Give my son one, I-I'll pay a million dol- no, ten million dollars. But do get my son, one." ] A-a what?! Someone like Felix who have been poor throughout his life couldn't believe his ears, swallowing the saliva stuck on his throat slowly as he couldn't help the way the conversation was flowing as of now.

A- ten million?! Holy sh- okay, okay. Maintain composure, Felix. You hit the gold mine, but you don't need money, especially no-maj money, the system doesn't accept those — only GGs. Golden Galleons.

[ "Sir please, take a breather." ] Felix in seeing the excitement of the man in front of him couldn't help but stand up, fixing his necktie that felt suffocating before until he's satisfied.

[ "Wands are free, Lex, your son will receive one in the orientation this coming August 20th." ] Materializing a contract scroll that levitated in-between them, Felix couldn't help but legitimately feel happy in things going his way.

[ "That is of course, if you sign this non-disclosure contract." ] Words in dark ink appearing one-by-one on the long flowing parchment that reaches up to the floor below.

In seeing another magical act happening in front of him, Mr. Luthor — Lionel Luthor couldn't help but feel at awe. The 43 year old billionaire having known throughout his life that magic does exist, but none taking him seriously.

Which made him conceal his fanatic side and appear instead as a stoic businessman for years and years. His father, the previous patriach of the Luthor Family being a strict man, that doesn't take no-nonsense as fairy-tales seriously. Thus making hin study business, instead of being a creative fiction writer.

But now, in being offered to have his son, the stoic business minded son of his that have been slightly influenced by his now deceased father, he couldn't help but worry about his son.

His son being after all a genius, something which Lionel wasn't, makes him proud. But in seeing that his son doesn't socialize with anyone in his age made him worry, the antisocial tendencies his son, Lex was showing since years back made him worry.

And no matter what he does, he doesn't seem to get through and connect with his son. So he wishes through this that his son may socialize, and be better, have a normal childhood even though that comes in the form of learning magic in an unknown boarding school that has hundreads and hundreads of students.

[ "I'll sign it!" ] Grabbing his exquisite pen from the side, Lionel was about to sign it. But was stopped by Felix, the Headmaster of Hogwarts as he tells him to read it first.

He read it for an hour, all the while Felix talks to him, telling him stories relating to magic, his life as the Headmaster of Hogwarts and being the Prof. in it. Lionel couldn't believe that Hogwarts have only been opened for a year, but he doesn't care.

Throughout the talk Felix slowly earned Lionel's trust, and in no-time the contract was signed. With the former leaving, coming in for another day, promising to him, and to his son, and to his daughter that he'll show him the wizarding world.

And in hearing that made the worries inside Lionel to die down, but instead anticipate the future, looking at the back of the mysterious wizard that slowly disappears in a black fog, a crack noise being heard before ultimately leaving nothing.

Except for one thing. Lionel looked at the desk in front of him and realized that a letter that he have never seen before was there. A seemingly normal letter that contains the address of his home, but the receiver isn't him, but instead his son — Lex Luthor.

Amazed, he grabbed it with shaky hands. Seeing that it has a magical feel in it, like the first time he saw magic. The reddish-wax in it having a stamp of an H being surrounded by 4 animals, one that Lionel couldn't fully recognize but he is sure he could see a lion, a snake, perhaps a raven, and a small thing that resembles a badger.

Hard to see due to them not being colored, except for the red color. Wanting to open it, Lionel stopped himself last minute. Not wanting to open it for curiosity sake, but instead give it to his son who's holed up deep inside his room, back home, for days now. Worried, Lionel hoped that this letter can change something for his son.

For one last time he looked at it, thinking that it may, no, it is definitely the Hogwarts Letter that man — Headmaster Harp boast about since earlier. The one rite of passage for all Hogwarts students, and the key to the future of his heir; Lex Luthor.
