Author sighed. "If that's what you feel, is best for the two of us then…" he hesitated.
"You know what…?" Adria turned back to the beautiful scenery, her hand now equally resting on the railing. "I shouldn't have said anything… maybe it was, just an impulsive thought I had." Adria laughed softly, she hated that disappointed look he had on…
Made her feel… somewhat guilty?
Author looked at her, through his side eye… monitoring the little smile she had on.
"Was it actually just a thought?" He muttered to himself.

"What are you doing here?"
Adria asked while taking steps back.
She had no idea of him… but the vibe he gave off, was pure energy of disgust.
"Don't you think that's a rude way of… welcoming your lover, Adria?" he took a step forward, making her, take one back.
Lover? She thought it was a one night stand thing?
Adria glanced over at Javen… he had already stepped I to the elevator, with a look of… 'this wasn't my problem.' With that, the elevator slid down, at the press of a button.
The guy looked back at her, as if his stare could pierce through her soul.
He chuckled.
Then… he grabbed her wrist, pulling her in close, into his embrace.
His breath felt cold against her skin, when he whispered.
"Did you know that a kiss can kill someone?" Adria froze at his question... Clearly not having anything to say to him.
What could she possibly say? When having no memories of anyone, or anything?
"Answer me... Adria." His grip tightened, and he inhaled the scent.
"N-no." Something about him made her... Quiver, in fear.
He sighed, and pulled away, with his lips curved into a smirk.
"How would you know that, when you can't even remember who I am?"
Adria had nothing to say, to his statement.
"I mean... You have so many, fooling over you... Obviously you'll forget about a single soul like me."
He chuckled.
"Shall I grant you the honors with my name again... Adria cadell?" His eyes glanced up at her as he took her hand in his, making sure to bow down to its height.
"My name, is Vythos, and I am your lover... Please make sure not to forget that."
Vythos smiled, his grip still on her hand, he brought it to his lips, and kissed her knuckles.
His lips, felt as soft as the silk she had seen, on the beds.
But somehow... they sent shivers down her spine, making her feel somewhat uncomfortable, as he held her hand.
"Right." She tried wiggling her hands out of his... Uncomfortable at the feel of his touch.
"Do I now irritate you that much, Adria?" His grip tightened.
"No... Why would you?"
Vythos's smile dropped."Then... Why are you trying to remove your hand?" That made her cold to the bone.
He was definitely different, than Author, and Dakota.
They never made her have this feeling, but Vythos, was not one of them
"I don't know... Just a weird feeling I have." She replied, with a nervous chuckle.
"Ah..." His grip loosened. "Sorry... About that.." he smiled. "It's been awhile since I saw you, and to tell you the truth... I've missed you." Vythos smiled once more.
Adria gulped... Why would Javen leave at such a needed time?
"Are you on your way home?"
Adria could only but nod.
"Let me give you a ride."
"No..."
"Why."
She looked down. If Author were to see him.
Her mind didn't even want to wonder there.
"My... Finance is around." She bit her lips hoping those were the right words.
What if the real Adria never told him, she was engaged? What if he got upset about her lying to him?
"I see." His eyes narrowed, but then, went back to it's normal size.
Adria closed her eyes, in a relieved way.
Suddenly, she was getting swept off her feet, and into his arms.
Her eyes flung open at the quick swaying.
"W-what are you doing?"
"Isn't it obvious? If I won't be able to take you back home... Then I'll just take you to Mine."
"I'm not going with you."
"And why is that?"
"Because I can't."
"You can't, or you won't?"
Adria didn't answer him, but rather, she tried getting out of his embrace.
"Stop fighting." He chuckled.
"No."
"Don't make me do something, that I will regret later."
She scoffed. "And which is?"
He stepped into the elevator.
"If I have to do what I have in mind, and if I do end up doing it, I wouldn't want to be blamed by the fact that I didn't warn you."
He looked down at her.
"And you wouldn't want to get on my bad side."
She glared.
"Don't worry... You won't be staying for long... Only a night."
A deadly night... After all, this man was her lover, he could do things.
"You know... You never resisted even when you had your bad moods... Did something happen?" Adria froze.
"And what's that meant to mean?" The elevator's door slid open, and he stepped out, with her still in his arms.
"Nothing." Vythos smiled, and slipped her into, the passengers sit.
Adria glanced over at him, and looked out the window.
"Can I ask you something?" She asked, turning back to face him.
He looked up at her through his rearview mirror.
"Go ahead."
"What are we to each other?" Vythos laughed.
"You're asking that? You're supposed to know." His smile faded slightly. "Did that fall affect you?" He asked with a concern tone.
"No... Not at all."
"Good... Cause, I don't want you, hurt in any way, or form."
Adria felt the need to scoff, at his statement, but decided not to, in case of her memory.
"Then what are we?"
"We're lovers, but I'm hoping we can change that into... Something more, soon." Vythos brushed his tumb on her lower lip, making sure to dip in it.
More?
That word made her stomach churn, he pulled his thumb out, and licked it clean.
Adria stared blankly at him.
"Let's get going now, shall we?" For some reason she found herself nodding to his question.
Maybe because...
There was no one, and nothing that could help her in the situation.
She was alone... With a man that could do anything to her, any moment he wants.
A man... She knew nothing of.
Vythos started the engine, and drove off, making her look out the window once again.
She had no choice but, to go with him, and hope, he wouldn't harm her, or try to do something... Something like what exactly? She glanced at him.
"I would never hurt you... And you should know that."
His eyes never left the road.
"Right."
"You sound doubtful, Adria."
"I am not."
"Is it because you've forgotten who I am?"
"Not that."
"Then what is it?"
"The way you act."
"Me, act? She glanced at him again.
"There you go again... Acting like you did nothing wrong."
"Because I haven't done anything." Vythos chuckled.
"Forget it." She huffed.
"As you wish, princess." Adria rolled her eyes, and leaned on the window.
"I've missed you." She heard him mumble.
"You're not gonna reply, or anything? You're so cold, Adria."
She ignored him, and closed her eyes.
"I know you can hear me... But fine, sleep, we'll be there, in a minute."
And he was right, they were.
The car came to a quick halt at a lovely house.
Outside decorated with a white coating, lamps leading the walls, and few at the gates.
He opened the car door, and picked her up, with her head against his shoulder.
"Sleep tight, princess." Vythos smirked.
"We'll be having fun tonight."
She didn't hear his words.
"You won't even remember the pain tomorrow."
Vythos chuckled, and kicked his car door shut.
Adria didn't stir, nor did she open her eyes.
But... What did he mean by pain?
