Using a Portkey is horrible. It's like trying to force a person into a front-load washing machine, shaking them up, and then suddenly squeezing them out. In the end, it was like being ejected suddenly. Soon, everyone appeared in front of a cabin. This was an uninhabited island within the Outer Hebrides Islands. Kyle had placed a lot of "Muggle-repelling spells" there. The island is not large, and it is dominated by a forest of small-leaf araucaria. These tall evergreen trees remain upright even in cold weather. Cassandra looked pale as she emerged.
Behind the wooden house was the coastline, and the fishy and sweet sea breeze was unmistakable. "Professor, we're here!" Kyle had gotten used to using the Portkey, as he visited every few days. "This is where I keep my pets. You'll love these cuties too." He added, "But I still want to make sure, can I really bring these cuties to school? I promise to take good care of them!" "It's okay, we have to adapt a lot, don't we?" Dumbledore replied with a smile, "Actually, I have an old friend. You may have heard of him. His name is Newt. He's got a lot of fantastic animals." The setting reminded him of Newt's suitcase, which housed many cherished magical animals, including Bowtruckles. Perhaps Kyle also had similar magical creatures there, or why else would he choose an island with such lush trees for them?
"Call them out, I'm looking forward to it." "Look, they've come!" Kyle said. Two inconspicuous clay pots placed in front of the wooden house suddenly began to rattle, and two huge creatures emerged. They looked like snakes in appearance, with feathers on their bodies, wings on their backs, and two feet. They were fifteen feet in length, somewhere between four and five meters. They were two bird-snakes, rated 4X by the Ministry of Magic, meaning they were dangerous and required special knowledge and skilled wizards to handle them. Kyle had raised these pets since they were young. As soon as the two bird-snakes saw Kyle, they immediately lowered their heads and rubbed affectionately against him.
"Bird snake, a good pet! I think Newt had one too." Dumbledore smiled. Although magical animals like bird-snakes are dangerous to some extent, they feed on guinea pigs and birds and don't hurt humans easily. "Perhaps they'll be popular among the students at Hogwarts. Just these two, children?" "Of course not, professor. There are more. Just wait, I'll call them over!" Kyle snapped his fingers, casting a "Loud Voice" spell without a wand, and then whistling a unique melody. The previously quiet island suddenly became filled with sound.
"Beautiful spellcasting skills, casting spells without a wand! This is something that many adult wizards cannot do. If it were in the Charms class, I think Professor Flitwick would definitely give you extra points." Dumbledore's eyes lit up. Just this ability to cast a spell without a wand was enough to amaze him. After all, Kyle was only eleven years old. Cassandra watched with a sense of frustration rising in her heart. "Loud Voice" is a simple spell she could manage, but she couldn't cast spells silently, let alone more advanced wandless spellcasting.
Just as he was talking, there was a rush of movement from the ground in the distance, and there was also the faint sound of thunder and lightning flickering in the sky. Six beasts that looked like rhinoceroses rushed out of the woods. They had a sharp, large horn on their noses, and their tails were like long ropes. These were 4X level fantastic animals known as Poison Horned Beasts. This kind of magical animal will generally reach a size of more than one ton when it grows up. Their numbers are extremely rare because they tend to kill each other during mating, unless influenced by Kyle's gift of "fantastic animal affinity" to force them to live in peace.
The six Poison Horned Beasts consisted of four large and two small ones, obviously forming two families. Behind them, three more Horned Beasts followed. The magical animals in the sky also showed up, revealing two Thunderbirds, another type of 4X level magical animal. Several magical animals started playing with Kyle immediately after arriving in the clearing. "Hahaha, stop making trouble, stop making trouble," he said, enjoying their company. "What a nice pet," Dumbledore remarked, though he stiffened slightly. Never mind, he thought. After all, it is only 4X level, which is as big as the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts. It is more than enough to raise three horned beasts, six poison horned beasts, and two thunderbirds.
Dumbledore wanted to tell Kyle to take the baby and go back to the castle, as principal and many other duties kept him busy every day. Before he could finish, a bigger commotion arose in the woods. The first to crawl out was a group of rune snakes, a small group of about a dozen. Each snake had three heads and its body stretched over ten meters long. One of them was exceedingly huge, reaching an astonishing twenty meters, with mouths capable of swallowing a little wizard.
That wasn't all. Behind the rune snake, three shadows clung to the ground and slowly slid over. First was the Voldebat, a 5X level dangerous magical animal, followed by a poison sac leopard, extremely venomous. There was also a Chimera and a Zouwu. Huge movements were heard in the sky, as two pitch-black thestrals and three griffins descended. These were basically 5X level creatures, considered super dangerous magical animals for ordinary adult wizards.
"Oh, Kyle, I've thought of a lot of riddles recently, do you want to try to guess them?" asked a Manticore that had also approached. This magical animal could speak human language and usually originated from the Nile River valley, with its greatest hobby being riddles. In the final stage of the Triwizard Tournament in the original book, the protagonist Harry Potter encountered such a creature. "No, Anthony," Kyle replied, naming the Manticore. "I brought my principal here this time. I am going to bring you to live in a better environment!" The two got along like friends.
