Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: The idea

Mike, just like any other task master, loved giving them a quest. It wasn't much of a quest if Asmodeos had to be honest. But Peter needed food, food that he was not allergic to, and honestly, waiting tables wasn't really that hard.

"Come on, one gluten-free pancake, table four!" What Asmodeos couldn't understand was, why exactly the portions were so small and why everything was so freaking expensive.

After all, a gluten-free pancake needed pretty much the same ingredients as a normal pancake.

 Sure, the flour was out of rice or almonds, or what have you.

That was supposed to be flour, but actually wasn't.

Still, Asmodeos took the plate with the pancake, noted that it was laden with jam, and rushed off. As he was walking between the tables, the customers looked at his white hair and necromancer robes. Some of them were even shivering.

 He thought about his life's choices.

He was still young.
