The shifter gnomes had had enough.
First, they had been taken to a training pendant. Then they had been let out without actually being paid for all the time spent in the training pendant.
And now they had to contend with a single human who had eaten Marek. Who, for some strange reason, had been a squirrel back then.
"We don't need you!" there were plenty of people among the shifter gnomes who wanted a crown for themselves.
They, just like any other gnome, dreamed of world domination.
They knew, however, that they would never achieve it, and so they just wanted someone to talk to from time to time, making their wish to become rules of the world known.
