The loaf of bread finally awakened.
The dragon stared at it, then at the empty picnic basket, then back at the loaf of bread.
The dragon knew, without a shred of doubt, that the loaf of bread, which was actually a zombie, had eaten all of the food.
That presented an opportunity.
"I am going to use you to snap myself adventurers for dinner," the dragon thought himself very clever as he picked the loaf of bread.
Not only did he believe he was very clever, but he also didn't even know if there was going to be any danger coming from the zombie.
He should have known better.
The wolf of bread bit off a nail. Now, if the nail was that of a human, it would have been logical that the loaf of bread would have been able to beat it off.
But the nail was that of a dragon.
There were castles who weren't as sturdily built as the dragon's nail.
