The broom swung; gnomes ran away.
Peter was hitting the gnomes with his broom, not caring if they were hurt or not.
Those weren't the normal green-haired gnomes or even the dark gnomes.
Heck, they weren't even the imp gnomes.
No, those were the shifter gnomes and they, just like any evil creature on that planet, wanted to steal Peter's quest.
His achievements.
His glory.
"Come back here you! Why, just why? I just needed to kill some slimes. I finally got out of prison and now…" Peter was beyond furious.
He knew for a fact that as soon as the broom had made the first arc towards the gnomes, all the green-haired gnomes and the dark gnomes would have run away.
The imp gnomes, however, had been harder to disperse and even they had run away.
But these shifter gnomes, these tiny deer and boar, these tiny monkeys and all the other creatures which Peter had never even seen…
