Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 {Mysterious Man}

Sierra's eyes sparkled with amusement as she sat down, her legs crossing elegantly as she gazed around the room. She was enjoying the anonymity, the freedom to observe without being recognized. She took another bite of her pastry, her expression serene, as she watched the guests speculate about her identity.

Sierra's gaze landed on a few familiar faces, people who had once known her as the "ugly" and "awkward" Sierra. She smiled to herself, a small, satisfied smile, as she saw the confusion and curiosity in their eyes. They had no idea who she was, no idea that the beautiful woman sitting in front of them was the same person they had once belittled and ignored.

Sierra's eyes sparkled with mischief as she leaned back in her chair, her gaze sweeping the room once more. She was ready to have some fun, to play a game of cat and mouse with these people who had once underestimated her. And as she waited for the perfect moment to reveal her true identity, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and revenge.

Sierra's eyes locked onto a familiar face, a face that had once been a thorn in her side. It was her former classmate, Victoria, who had always made it a point to mock and belittle her. Victoria's eyes widened as she stared at Sierra, her mouth hanging open in shock.

Sierra's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with amusement as she watched Victoria's reaction. She could see the wheels turning in Victoria's head, the realization slowly dawning on her that the beautiful woman in front of her was actually the same person she had once tormented.

Victoria's face turned bright red as she stumbled over her words, trying to play it cool.

"Uh, hi...I'm Victoria. I don't think we've met before..."

Sierra's laughter was like music, a sweet and melodious sound that filled the room. She leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Oh, Victoria. We've met before. Many times, in fact. But I'm afraid you don't recognize me, do you?"

Victoria touched her blonde hair and she giggled.

"I don't think so," Victoria said sweetly and Sierra pulled her hand away. Sierra was wearing veil that covered half of her face. The engaged couple walked down the stairs in arms and arms everyone clapped for them. Most of these people are here because the House Of Hardcastle Dynasty are here even if Lucas Hardcastle isn't from a the main Hardcastle he has the blood of Hardcastle and their families have trillions upon trillions of dollars. Amber Sierra step sister looked so beautiful her blue hair was down she wore a an expensive dress.

Sierra chuckled Amber would be so angry if she found out the expensive she is wearing she was the designer and the creator of that dress. She saw her other family as well but she noticed someone new and she frowned she looked at Victoria.

"Who is that person?"

"Oh you mean Olivia Watergate the fourth young miss she replaced that disgusting chubby useless idiot Sierra Olivia Watergate is so talented not just that she is dating Kingston Hardcastle his from the second major family…" Victoria saw the coldness in Sierra eyes Victoria didn't know that this was Sierra. Replacement haha how disgusting.

Sierra's eyes flashed with anger, her gaze burning with a fierce intensity as she listened to Victoria's words. She felt a cold, calculating calm wash over her, her mind racing with the implications. Olivia Watergate, the fourth young miss? Replaced her? Dating Kingston Hardcastle? The words were like a slap in the face, a bitter reminder of the life she had left behind.

Sierra's gaze locked onto Victoria, her eyes boring into her like ice.

"I see," she said, her voice low and even.

"So, Olivia Watergate is the new fourth young miss. How...interesting."

Sierra's smile was a thin, cold line, her eyes glinting with a hint of malice. She raised her glass, her movements economical and precise.

"I think I'll go congratulate her. After all, it's not every day one meets a replacement."

Sierra's eyes never left Victoria's face as she rose from her seat, her movements fluid and deliberate. She glided across the room, her veil fluttering around her face, her gaze fixed on the group of people surrounding Olivia Watergate.

As she approached, the conversation faltered, the group falling silent as they turned to stare at her. Sierra's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"Ah, Olivia Watergate, the new fourth young miss," she said, her voice dripping with sweetness.

"I've heard so much about you."

Olivia's eyes widened, her face paling as she took in Sierra's beauty and poise. She looked like a pale imitation of Sierra, a weak and feeble substitute. Sierra's gaze roamed over her, taking in the expensive dress and the jewelry, the way she clung to Kingston Hardcastle's arm.

Sierra's laughter was like music, a cold and mirthless sound.

"You're so...young," she said, her voice dripping with condescension.

"I'm sure you'll make a wonderful fourth young miss. After all, it's not like you have big shoes to fill or anything."

Olivia looked at this woman and she frowned deeply.

"Sorry who are you?" Olivia asked and Sierra smiled.

"I am sorry do I have to tell my own replacement my own name?" Sierra asked those words grabbed everyone attention people gasped in shock and people started to whisper.

"So you are Miss Sierra," Kingston said and Sierra was indifferent she didn't care for a strange she didn't know her eyes just looked at Olivia and then her eyes landed on Amber and and her ex boyfriend she sighed and she dropped her wine glass this time people from the top floor heard this as well. There was a man who was sitting behind the curtain this man aura was so powerful and fearful his dark emerald green eyes he tapped his finger on the chair.

Sierra's eyes locked onto the man behind the curtain, her gaze drawn to the dark emerald green eyes. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she sensed the power and fear emanating from him. Her expression remained calm, but her eyes betrayed a flicker of curiosity. The man's gaze held hers, and for a moment, it seemed like time stood still.

Sierra's eyes sparkled with amusement as she raised an eyebrow, her gaze drifting back to the man behind the curtain. She seemed to be daring him to reveal himself, her expression a mixture of curiosity and challenge. The air was thick with tension as the two locked eyes, the others in the room fading into the background.

The man's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing as he continued to watch Sierra. His finger stopped tapping on the chair, his entire focus on the woman who seemed to be captivating him. The silence between them was palpable, a sense of anticipation building as the others waited to see what would happen next.

Sierra's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with mischief as she seemed to be enjoying the attention. She took a step forward, her eyes never leaving the man's, and the room seemed to hold its breath as it waited to see what she would do next.
