*In the Heavens, Two Angels are having a conversation*
"What? This is outrageous Aurora," Amenadiel asked. "What is?" she asked playing dumb. "You very well know what I'm talking about."
"I most certainly do not," she replied stubbornly.
"Really? You mean to tell me, you have no idea it's about you making a god and a werewolves mates?"
She feigned surprise, "Oh that…"
Amenadiel scoffed, "Cut it out Aurora. You are the moon goddess and it is up to you to give the werewolves their other halves. But a god?"
"Give me a break, will you? Like you said, I am the moon goddess so, I know what's best." "Do you really?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" she whipped around harshly. "It's obvious you don't know what is best at the moment," he said whilst shaking his head.
Aurora glared, lifted her head up in defiance, and said, "God put me in charge of pairing the werewolves with their other halves. If he felt I wasn't making the right decision, he would've told me himself or better yet, gotten someone else to do the job since I'm incompetent-"
"I didn't say you're incompetent Aurora," he said while sighing.
"Well, that's what you insinuated. Why don't you scurry along and go do your job, while I do mine without the watchful eyes of an ignoramus," she said while completing the thread to finally tighten the bond of the mates.
Amenadiel looks at Aurora the moon goddess, and says, "What you are doing is ridiculous. You might be the moon goddess, but pairing a hybrid and a god is low even for you."
Aurora, the moon goddess rolls her eyes, and says, "Calm down Amenadiel. I know my work more than anyone. Do I offer unsolicited advice on your works?"
Amenadiel says, "That is because I don't do anything haywire. Were wolves are meant to be with their kind. You made a werewolves be with humans, and I said nothing. You made werewolves and vampires be together, and I still didn't say anything. Then, you made a witch and a werewolf be together. Now, you are making their hybrid baby be with a god? How will a hybrid and a god be mates? Where will they ever meet? What do you think Aphrodite will say when she finds out you are pairing her son with a hybrid?"
Aurora waves her hands, and says, "It is fate Amenadiel. God gave me this work. He trusted I would do my job well, and that is what I'm doing. I don't just make decisions rashly. We both know as much as anyone, that gods and goddesses mingle on Earth too."
Amenadiel sighs, and says, "You are such a hopeless romantic. I suspect you are the reason for the human's delusions and romantic novels."
Aurora grins and says, "I am not. Although, I might be the reason for a god and a hybrid being together. Aren't you excited?"
Amenadiel says, "More like scared."
Aurora pays him no heed, and says, "Sure, I get the fates entwined, but I never force them to be together. They decide that all on their own. You will see that my decision was the right one."
Amenadiel ignores her and waits for Aurora to finish the work he is looking forward to seeing years later. Pairing a witch and a werewolf is one thing, but a god and a hybrid? He knew it would cause confusion and disagreement, but maybe, this is just what the gods and goddesses need to stop feeling above everyone else. Yes, he was excited but also scared. What if Aurora's plan is not a success? What if they never meet? What will Aphrodite, mother of Cupid do when she finds out that her only son is tied to a half-werewolf, and half-witch? A hybrid.
They both glared at each other while Amenadiel said, "it's bad enough you paired a werewolf and a witch, but a god?" He continued murmuring his distaste for such pairing, while the moon goddess tuned him out, and whispered smiling, "It is done."
