A girl is currently floating in an empty white void, confused out of her mind as the last thing she remembers is her plane crashing, "Is this what the afterlife looks like?" She called out hoping someone would respond, "Just cause you know, it sucks!" She added trying to provoke anyone.
"Yeah this is not the afterlife." A voice from behind the girl said, making her turn quickly to see a small girl with golden hair, golden eyes, wearing clothes made of light, "Who are you?" The girl asked, "I am Shiva Samba, God of Gods." The small girl responded with a smirk.
Now in silence to absorb what was said, "Why is the 'God is a child trope' the accurate one?" The girl asked the Goddess who made a face at that, "So that's what you're focusing on, great." She said with a facepalm, "Why am I surprised." She asked herself before shaking her head and continuing "Anyway, you'll be sent to a new world in a new body, yadda yadda." She explained quckly, "I'll be wha-" Before the girl coul finish, she found herself falling.
Meanwhile in a Meadery in Snezhnaya.
In the basement of the building, Fatui agents were busy putting bottles in order while being overseen by a girl with short black hair fading into purple, eyes that fade from red to yellow, very slim and completely absent in curves, and wearing a short sleeved shirt with a eye design and short shorts.
While overseeing, a cicin mage approached her, "Lady Gloom, where do the spicy brews go?" The mage asked, "Third row of shelves from the stairs." Gloom instructed, pointing to said row, prompting the mage to head over.
"Man it's starting to get cold down here..." Gloom muttered before heading over to a pile of scorching coals and threw some more on top, making heat travel through the vent above, "Maybe they clogged?" She wondered outloud, looking at the vent gates surrounding the room, but was quickly brought away from that train by a loud bang on the floor above, "I'll be checking!" Gloom told the agents as she ran up the stairs.
Now on the ground floor, Gloom grabbed a scythe from under the counter and got ready to face... the clearly shorter than her girl, who has very long white hair, white eyes, very pale skin, a little shapely, white curtain top that shows her midriff, and white short skirt.
Gloom lowered her scythe seeing that the girl was on the floor, seemingly having taken a very nasty fall, "God that hurt..." She lamented as she rubbed the back of her head, "So who are you?" Gloom questioned with a raised eyebrow, causing the white haired girl to jump a bit, "...Where am I?" She asked.
This question made Gloom a bit confused, "Pardon?" She asked back with narrowed eyes, "Where am-" The white haired girl was repeating, "Not funny." Gloom interrupted while pinching the bridge of her nose, "So you don't know how you got here?" She asked the girl hoping for further clarification, "Nope, it's cold though." The girl responded, shivering slightly.
"Okay..." Gloom said while scratching her head in thought, "So I normally don't do this, but this situation is weird, take a seat." She offered, motioning to all the avaiable table du to this being a day off.
Later.
"So you were sent here from another world too?" The white haired girl said in surprise as she took another sip of mead, "It was years ago, but yes." Gloom confirmed, taking a sip of her own, "Sounds pretty similar too." She noted, remembering meeting the Goddess that was mentioned.
Now with context, the white haired girl leaned back in her seat, "At least you were young enough to not care though." She pointed out, to which Gloom shrugged, "So anyway... I guess you can call me... Shimmer? Y-yes- yes, Shimmer." The girl decided, "I'm Gloom, and uh... Welcome to Teyvat I guess?" Gloom replied, unsure of exactly what to say.
Shimmers eyes widened hearing that, "Teyvat?" She asked, her voice sounding overly surprised, "Oh yeah, information leak, basically worlds exist inside eachother as fiction." Gloom summarized quickly wanting it to make sense, "I see..." Shimmer responded clearly thinking, "Are we... In Snezhnaya?" She asked.
Gloom let out a chuckle at the question, "Too cold for you?" She asked jokingly, "How do you handle it?" Shimmer asked back, "Barely! That's how!" Gloom replied before getting up and going to the door to the basement, "I'm going away for a while! Make sure nothing happens!" She ordered the agents downstairs, "YES MA'AM!" They yelled back in unison.
Now with that done, Gloom went back to Shimmer, "Come with me, let's go talk somewhere a little toastier." She invited and without waiting for an answer grabbed Shimmers hand and pulled her along.
