Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Another Sirius Conversation

Peverell Beach House, Cornwall, 8/22/1982, 09:37

Harry sat on the deck reading the paper, he was in a great mood today, he and Bellatrix had destroyed a large chunk of Voldemort's soul last night and Bellatrix had managed to keep her place at Hardbrooms.

Bellatrix had slept in this morning so he was having a quiet breakfast and listening to the waves crash onto the beach.

Harry flipped the paper open and found a piece in the paper about Randolph LeStrange's disappearance, the Aurors were doing a full investigation but didn't have any leads at the moment.

Harry was actually a bit surprised at this considering the conversation he had with Lets LeStrange's portrait, still he had been completely disguised so even if she had shared talked all she would be able to tell them was that a man fressed in grey robes clling himself Reaper had kidnapped Randolph.

Harry heard the telltale 'woosh' of someone entering by floopullng him from his thoughts, he slowly got up from the table and made his way inside to find Narcissa dusting herself off.

"Good morning Harry," Narcissa said politely when she saw him walk in.

"Good morning Narcissa, how have you been?" Harry asked.

"Well, I came by to bring Bellatrix some potions is she up yet?" Narcissa asked as she adjusted her handbag on her shoulder.

"Yes," Bellatrix's voice came from halfway up the stairs.

Harry turned and saw Bellatrix descending the stairs, he noticed she looked pale and slightly clammy.

"Hello Cissa," Bellatrix said as she stepped off of the steps.

"Sister you look a bit pale," Narcissa said looking concerned.

"I'm feeling a bit sick this morning," Bellatrix said her voice sounding a bit hoarse.

"Come upstairs I'll look you over," Narcissa said taking Bella's hand and leading her back up the stairs.

Harry felt worried all of a sudden, hopefully, it was nothing serious but Bellatrix did look really pale.

He was glad Narcissa was here, hopefully, she would know what to do, he was trained in healing injuries associated with combat but was out of his depth when it came to the finer points of healing.

Harry made his way back to the deck to wait for them to come back down feeling a bit anxious.

About an hour later both women joined him back on the porch, Bellatrix looked to be feeling better, the colour had returned to her cheeks again and she seemed back to her old self.

Narcissa was carrying a tea service and set it down on the tiny table Harry had eaten his breakfast on earlier.

"All okay?" Harry asked curiously.

"Yes, Cissa gave me some potions that cleared it right up," Bellatrix said as she accepted a cup of tea and took a seat beside him on the couch.

There was something different about the scent of the tea but Harry decided not to ask and instead turned to Narcissa and asked, "so where is Draco today?"

"Roxanne is watching him and Harry, I needed to check on Bella and it has been a while since I had a day off from chasing him around the manor," Narcissa said after taking a seat at the table and turning in her chair to face them.

"Speaking of dumping your offspring on someone else, have you heard from Andy lately?" Bellatrix asked curiously.

"Yes, she visited the other day with little Nymphdora, she said you might be angry with her," Narcissa said her eyes alight in amusement.

"Oh I'm going to skin her alive when I see her again," Bellatrix exclaimed.

"We will talk to her when we see her," Harry said with an amused shake of his head.

"She feels pretty bad about what happened," Narcissa said also looking very amused.

"Yes I'm sure she is, did you know her sprog poured all of my perfumes on my bed?" Bellatrix asked her temper starting to rise at the memory.

"No, she just told me Nymphadora flew around your sitting room on Harry's broom," Narcissa said in surprise.

"Alright calm down Bella," Harry said putting his hand on her thigh and rubbing softly.

"Hmph," Bella said before taking a sip of her tea.

"So Harry, Andy says you're great with her daughter, have you ever thought of having children of your own," Narcissa asked casually.

"I haven't, to be honest, but I would like to have kids one day," Harry said not noticing Bellatrix watching him intently.

Before Narcissa could reply there was a 'woosh' sound coming from the sitting room fireplace.

"Harry Auntie Bellatrix," Tonks' voice rang out loudly.

"Good she's here time to discipline the little snot," Bellatrix ranted.

"I'll deal with this, just try and calm down she's only nine," Harry said soothingly before he got up to greet his guests.

He made his way into the sitting room just in time to see the fireplace flare green again as Andromeda gracefully stepped out.

"Hello Harry, Nymphadora has something to say to you," Andromeda said looking pointedly at her daughter.

"I'm sorry for making a mess and stealing your broom, Uncle Harry," Tonks mumbled out while staring at her trainers.

Harry was taken aback for a moment but quickly recovered, "I forgive you but your aunt is still furious about you ransacking our bedroom," Harry replied.

"Oh no," Andy said looking nervous.

"She's out on the deck with Narcissa," Harry said looking at Andromeda hoping she would accompany Tonks.

"Very well, come along Nymphadora," Andromeda said leading her daughter to the deck.

Harry followed them out the door and watched nervously as Tonks stepped in front of Bellatrix and looked at her timidly.

"I'm sorry for making a mess in your room, Auntie Bellatrix," Tonks mumbled.

"Did Andy punish you?" Bella asked curiously.

"Yes she spanked me with her hairbrush," Tonks said quietly.

"Good then I forgive you but if I ever catch you in my room again I'll conjure a paddle and spank you myself," Bellatrix warned.

"Yes Auntie Bella, I promise I will never go in your room again," Tonks said quickly.

"Harry, would you mind taking her down to the beach? I need to have a word with my sister," Bellatrix asked sweetly making a shiver run down his spine and leaving Harry deeply thankful that her ire wasn't directed at him.

"Alright, just promise not to start a duel," Harry said looking at her beseechingly.

"Fine, Bella promises to be good," Bellatrix said in her bratty voice.

"Okay come on Tonks," Harry said walking over to the stairs on the other side of the deck that led down to the beach.

"Okay, but I don't have a swimsuit," Tonks said hurrying to catch up with him.

Harry flicked his wand at her and transfigured her clothes into a simple one piece swimsuit.

"Thanks, so do you think Aunt Bella and mum are going to fight?" Tonks asked curiously as the stepped off of the stairs.

"Probably, I'm hoping your Aunt Narcissa will keep the peace," Harry said seriously.

"Good, I really am sorry about borrowing your broom and making a mess," Tonks said quietly.

"Well don't do it again," Harry said as they reached the water.

"I won't I promise," Tonks said earnestly.

"Good, go on and play, I'll supervise," Harry said gesturing towards the waves crashing into the sand.

"Don't fall asleep," Tonks warned before skipping out into the waves.

Harry conjured a lounge chair and watched Tonks playing in the waves thinking about what she had said earlier, she had called him uncle Harry.

He really shouldn't be too surprised by this, ever since she had met her aunt Harry had been in the picture. This did push his thoughts towards another dilemma he had been weighing over in his mind, the ring box in his nightstand. He knew before he could ask her he would have to get permission from her head of house as custom dictated.

Luckily Sirius had taken over the lordship and he was meeting with him tomorrow morning at eleven at the Shrieking Shack. Admittedly asking Sirius as Lord Black for his blessing to marry Bellatrix was the easy part, he still had to ask her and thinking about that part of it was twisting his stomach in knots.

He knew that she wanted to get married, every time marriage was mentioned she would look at him with a strange longing in her eye but that didn't stop his brain from going through all sorts of scenarios where she said she wasn't ready, this was just a fling, or actually laughed at him and told him she would never marry him.

'splash'

Harry was rudely pulled from his musings as Tonks had somehow located a bucket and dumped it over his head, he sputtered indignantly and glared at the giggling girl holding a bright pink plastic bucket.

"Why did you do that?" Harry asked calmly his wand slipping into his hand.

"You fell asleep, mum said if you ever fell asleep while you were watching me that I was to pour water on you," Tonks said innocently.

"I see and where did you get the bucket?" Harry asked as he transfigured his jeans into board shorts.

"I don't know, it was sitting beside your chair," Tonks said thoughtfully.

'Just as he suspected, there was treachery afoot here,' Harry thought to himself.

"I wasn't asleep though," Harry argued as he stood up and peeled his wet tee shirt off.

"Your eyes were closed and you didn't answer when I asked where the bucket came from," Tonks said matter of factly.

"Aquament frigis," Harry exclaimed making Tonks shriek and run away as a cold jet of water sprayed from the tip of his wand.

Tonks shrieked in surprise and ran towards the water.

Harry gave chase using this as moving target practice until tonks ran into the waves, this time he followed enjoying the feel of the water crashing over him.

"No fair, I can't go that far out," Tonks protested as Harry sprayed her again.

"Wait you can't swim?" Harry asked surprised.

"I can doggy paddle but mum told me not to go too far out," Tonks said before a massive wave slammed into her and knocked her over.

"Alright I got an idea", Harry said as he slipped his wand back on his arm holster before wading out further into the waves.

Harry soon swam out a couple of hundred yards before treading water, the waves weren't as strong once he was over the drop off.

" Swim on out to me," Harry called back to Tonks.

"Are you sure," Tonks asked nervously.

"Yes, I'll watch you," Harry promised.

Harry watched as Tonks face scrunched up in worry before she started wading out and soon started swimming towards him her pink hair bobbing up and down as she swam towards him.

Harry discreetly drew his wand and cast a charm on her swimsuit that made it take on the properties of a life jacket so she couldn't sink.

After a few minutes, she joined him clumsily paddling through the water.

"Let's go diving," Harry said when she was about ten feet away.

"I can't swim that well underwater," Tonks protested.

Harry grinned and pointed his wand at her again causing a big bubble to form around her that made her look like she had an upside down fishbowl over her head and then cast the spell over himself.

"You look weird," Tonks giggled her voice echoing strangely inside the bubble.

"So do you, but this will let us breathe underwater," Harry explained before cancelling the floatation charm on her swimsuit.

Harry dove underwater and swam down about ten feet, not long after tonks appeared at his side looking around in awe, the bubble was like a divers lense giving them a great view through the clear bluish-green water, suddenly Tonks tapped his shoulder excitedly.

Harry looked at her and she pointed out where a large school of fish were swimming serenely past them their sides reflecting almost silver from the sunlight shining through from the surface above.

They spent an hour exploring the shelf, they were only about thirty feet down so they had plenty of light, they saw a lot of seaweed, a couple of tiny sharks, a small coral reef filled with pink and green anemones opening and closing as they passed over them, and all sorts of different fish that darted away when they got too close.

Harry finally led them back to shore before the oxygen in the bubbles ran out, they both swam back towards the shallows before they surfaced, Harry noticed that Tonks movements became more relaxed as she got the hang of swimming.

"That was so cool can we do that again?" Tonks asked when they had surfaced and Harry cancelled their bubblehead charms.

"No, I am starving and your mother is probably waiting for us," Harry said as they started swimming back towards the beach.

They couldn't speak much after that as a powerful wave caught them both and pushed them to shore making Tonks squeal in surprise.

"Whoa, that was fun!" Tonks exclaimed as they both walked up the beach to find the three Black sisters sunbathing.

"Where have you two been?" Andromeda asked curiously.

"Uncle Harry put this spell on our heads so we could breathe underwater and we saw so many fish!" Tonks exclaimed excitedly.

"Is lunch ready yet?" Harry asked his stomach chose that moment to growl.

"We packed some sandwiches and some of them muggle drinks of yours," Bellatrix said from her spot on her lounge chair.

Harry spent a moment looking her up and down, she had on a modest purple two-piece bathing suit and black sunglasses, giving him an incredible view of her shapely legs and flat stomach.

Harry conjured a lounger and sat down deciding to let the sun dry him out, Andromeda got up from her own lounger and passed Tonks a sandwich and a juice box before handing Harry a larger sandwich and a coke.

Harry glanced at Andromeda noticing that like her sisters she had some very nice legs, she was wearing a dark brown one-piece like last time, Harry quickly looked at his sandwich having no desire to draw Bella's ire.

"So is everything sorted out with you two?" Harry asked looking at Bellatrix.

"Yes, but Andromeda has something to say," Bellatrix said lifting her sunglasses and looking pointedly at Andy.

"I am sorry for sending Nymphadora over so much without asking," Andromeda said sincerely.

"She really wasn't much trouble most of the time, but I accept your apology," Harry said adding the last part after getting a pointed look from Bellatrix.

"So why did you take her diving?" Narcissa asked curiously from the other side of Andromeda.

"Somebody supplied her with a bucket and she saw fit to douse me when I closed my eyes," Harry said looking pointedly at Andromeda.

"Don't blame her Harry, I conjured the bucket," Narcissa said with a smirk.

"Why," Harry asked after swallowing a bite of his beef and swiss sandwich.

"You looked like you were falling asleep," Narcissa said with a shrug.

That's when he noticed her bikini was the same bright pink as the bucket Tonks had used to drench him earlier.

"Can we go diving tomorrow?" Tonks asked hopefully.

"No, I have to meet with Sirius we need to take care of something," Harry said not noticing Narcissa's eyebrows raise.

"Are you meeting with Sirius or Sirius in his position as Lord Black?" Andromeda asked a bit too casually.

"Both," Harry said before popping open his coke.

"What's the difference?" Tonks asked through a mouthful of her ham and cheese sandwich.

"I'll tell you later Nymphadora, and don't talk with your mouth full," Andromeda scolded.

Harry finished his lunch and reclined back lazily drawing his wand and conjuring a set of sunglasses and slipping them over his nose.

The rest of the afternoon passed by pretty quickly, around two Narcissa excused herself and left to go pick up Draco. Andomeda and Tonks stayed for dinner before they left around six or so giving Harry and Bellatrix a chance to relax.

"So what do you need to talk to my degenerate cousin about in his position as Lord Black?" Bellatrix asked nonchalantly.

"Black family business of course," Harry said teasingly.

"Come on you have to tell Bella," Bellatrix begged

"No I can't yet, but if all goes well I'll tell you tomorrow," Harry promised.

"Fine, so what all did you see underwater?" Bellatrix asked changing the subject though her eyes gleamed excitedly.

"There is a lot of seaweed and a small coral...

Shrieking Shack, Hogsmeade, 8/23/1982, 10:58

Harry arrived at the shack twenty minutes ago, he had been pacing back and forth nervously waiting for Sirius to arrive ever since.

He didn't think he would be this nervous about asking Sirius but he was, he just wished the man would hurry up and get here already.

'Pop'

Harry turned to see his godfather appear about ten feet away.

"Good you're here, are you ready to get going?" Sirius asked excitedly as soon as he saw Harry.

"Yes, but first I need to talk to you about Black family business, Lord Black," Harry said in a formal tone.

Sirius looked surprised for a moment before he composed himself, " Very well Mr Peverell what can I do for you?" Sirius asked in an unusually serious tone.

"Lord Black, I wish to ask you for Bellatrix's hand in marriage," Harry said before bowing his head as custom dictated.

"Have you discussed this with her?" Sirius asked.

"No, custom dictates I ask her head of house first," Harry said looking Sirius in the eye.

"Bugger the customs, you have my permission to marry her and the best of luck to you, now enough of this pureblood posturing lark we have an adventure to get to," Sirius exclaimed impatiently.

Harry felt his nerves ease up, "I wanted to do it the right way," Harry said with a shrug.

"Yeah I get it, I've been pondering doing the same with Amy's grandfather but it's too early just yet," Sirius said leading Harry to the entrance of the tunnel on the other side of the sitting room.

"Really from what I knew of you in my timeline you were a bit of a rake," Harry said in surprise.

"I was but almost spending your life in Azkaban can change your perspective," Sirius said as he stepped into the tunnel.

"Well best of luck to you with Amelia," Harry said stooping down and following behind Sirius.

"Thanks, you will have to meet with my grandfather after you and Bellatrix get engaged," Sirius said as they awkwardly made their way through the tunnel.

Why?" Harry asked feeling nervous all over again.

"Because he was furious with the contract Cygnus signed with Randolph LeStrange and will want to ensure that you are worthy," Sirius said with a smirk.

"Oh bugger!" Harry said as they reached the Hogwarts end of the tunnel.

"I actually think the two of you will get along fine, just don't let him know you spank Bellatrix," Sirius said with a chuckle.

"Haha did you bring the cloak?" Harry asked as he pulled out the 'Marauder's map.

"Of course," Sirius said as if it were a stupid question

"I solemnly swear I am up to no good," Harry said tapping the blank parchment with his wand and watching the lines of the map form before his eyes.

"So who's in the castle," Sirius asked looking over his shoulder.

Harry scanned the map and saw five dots (not counting the ghosts and Peeves), Argus Filch was in his office, then he saw Sprout in the greenhouses, Madam Pince in the Library, Minerva McGonagall was in the head's office and Filius Flitwick was in the kitchens.

"There are four people in the castle, but it looks like we have a clear shot up to the seventh floor," Harry said as he let Sirius look over it as well.

"Okay, let's get moving," Sirius said before reaching his arm out of the tunnel to touch the knot on the side of the whomping willow.

They quickly cawled out of the tunnel and got out of range of the trees branches before Sirius threw the cloak over them both.

They didn't bother ducking down as they crossed the lawn as there was no one here to see their feet anyway, when they reached the main doors Harry was surprised to see that they were both wide open.

Harry checked the map and saw that Filch was now headed down the second floor corridor towards Myrtle's bathroom.

"New plan, we're heading by Filch's office real quick," Harry said quietly as they crossed the entrance hall.

"Okay, what for?" Sirius asked as they started walking down the hallway to the left of the great hall, they moved slower now as they had to hunch so the cloak covered their feet.

"Filch has this timeline's version of the map," Harry whispered as they approached the tiny office.

The door was open and they quickly slipped inside, the room was the same as Harry remembered, cramped and smelling strongly of fried fish, the infamous chains were hanging on the wall behind Filch's desk, a rusty oil lamp hung from the ceiling providing the room with light since there weren't any windows, and pushed up against the far wall were wooden file cabinets that Harry knew held the records of all the students that Filch had punished.

Harry actually laughed aloud when he saw a drawer that in his time had been labelled F. Weasley/G. Weasley, but at this time it read S. Black/J. Potter.

"What's so funny?" Sirius asked looking around curiously.

"You and my dad had a whole drawer of detentions," Harry said with a chuckle pointing to the drawer.

"You wouldn't believe all the things we got detention for here," Sirius said with a grin.

"Yeah I would, in my sixth year I had detention every Saturday, my punishment was to go through your old detention write-ups, anyway we had better hurry," Harry said checking the map again.

"Which drawer is the map in?" Sirius asked curiously.

"That one," Harry said pointing to a drawer labelled, confiscated and extremely dangerous.

Sirius quickly slipped out from under the cloak and opened the drawer, the blank piece of parchment was the only thing there and Sirius quickly snatched it up before sliding under the cloak again.

"Alright let's go," Sirius said as he pocketed the map.

" Give that to my younger self when he starts Hogwarts," Harry said as they made their way back to the grand staircase.

"Not bloody likely, I'll hang on to it so I can keep tabs on him," Sirius said as they made it to the entrance hall.

Harry checked the map again and saw the coast was clear, he was actually surprised when he saw his name on the map it showed up as Harry Peverell, he half expected it to show up as Reaper, claiming the name at Gringotts must have been more binding than he thought.

"We're clear let's move," Harry said as he led them up the staircase.

They made it to the seventh floor with little problems only having to make one detour to avoid Peeves on the third floor.

"What is this?" Sirius asked curiously as they stopped in front of a tapestry of a barmy wizard attempting to teach trolls ballet.

Harry stepped out from under the cloak and paced three times in front of the wall across from the tapestry.

Sirius took off the cloak and was about to ask what was up when a door materialized in the wall.

"This is the room of hidden things," Harry said as he pushed open the door and led Sirius inside.

They both looked around at the cavernous room easily twice the size of the great hall, mountains of junk were piled high some piles came close to touching the ceiling, small paths were leading between the piles most likely created by house-elves who frequented this room.

There was furniture of every type imaginable piled up as well as socks, robes, scarves, shoes, and a rather large pile of male and female underwear.

Going further into the room were books, potion bottles, broomsticks, swords, knives, a few axes and a full sized stuffed troll.

"Where did all of this come from?" Sirius asked in awe as Harry led him down one of the paths.

"I don't know for sure but I think a lot of this was contraband students hid in here. As for the clothes and furniture, I think that is most likely the elves doing, they use this room a lot," Harry explained.

"We never found this room up here, though one time when James and I were trying to ditch Filch we found a secret passage that led to an alcove across from the fat ladies portrait, never could find it again though," Sirius said thoughtfully.

"Interesting, the room takes on more forms than just this, you just have to pace in front of the wall and think about what you need and the room will appear," Harry said as he found the tarnished cabinet he knew the diadem was sitting on.

"Stay back for a moment," Harry said as he stepped towards the cabinet.

When he was three feet away he saw the diadem sitting on a pile of junk on top of the cabinet, drawing his dagger Harry closed the distance and stabbed it into the crown, there was an earsplitting shriek and black mist erupted out of the diadem before dissipating into the air leaving the faintest scent of sulfur behind.

Harry scooped up the warped tiara noticing a sickle sized hole burnt black around the edges and slipped it into the pocket of his robes.

"What the bloody hell was that?!" Sirius exclaimed from behind him.

"Are you familiar with a Horcrux?" Harry asked curiously.

"No what's a Horcrux?" Sirius asked still looking a bit shaken.

"The darkest of dark magic, to make a Horcrux you split your soul and place part of it in an object, this acts as an anchor to tie your soul to this plane. It's as close to being immortal as a wizard can get" Harry explained as he took a seat on an old ripped armchair.

"So Voldemort made that, it's how he came back in your time right?" Sirius asked taking a seat on a trunk looking disgusted.

"Pretty much, this was the last one he made intentionally, me and Bella destroyed all of the others a few nights ago. But there is one more that I still have no idea how to deal with," Harry said sounding troubled.

"Why can't you do what you just did to that tiara thingy?" Sirius asked in confusion.

"Because... because that piece of his soul is not in an object, it's in a person," Harry said quietly looking very lost.

"In a person, you can put a piece of your soul in another person?! Sirius exclaimed in horror.

" You can, but I don't think Voldemort intended to," Harry said looking at Sirius.

"Who is it?" Sirius asked starting to get a bad feeling.

"My younger self," Harry said sadly.

"No! How?" Sirius asked weakly.

"The night Voldemort killed my parents and then cast the killing curse at me the curse backfired. I think Voldemort was intending to use my death to create another Horcrux and his soul was a fractured mess anyway, a piece was blasted from the whole, I was the only living thing in the house so that shard of his soul latched onto me," Harry explained looking sickened at the thought.

"But you got rid of it didn't you, why can't you do that for Harry?" Sirius asked hopefully.

"Because I took a killing curse to the face to get rid of mine and the only reason I didn't die was because Voldemort used my blood in his resurrection ritual keeping my mother's sacrifice alive," Harry said in a tired voice.

"Bugger, so how can we get that thing out of him?" Sirius demanded.

"I have no idea but we have a decade or so to figure it out," Harry said trying to sound optimistic.

"What about Dumbledore do you think he would know how to remove it?" Sirius asked.

"No, it was his idea for me to take the killing curse, I mean he was right that I would survive but I would prefer not to take his lead on this," Harry said standing up.

"Okay but you're a real ass for not telling me this sooner," Sirius said as he got up as well.

"After you spilt blurted out my secret twice I didn't feel all that confident in your ability to keep your gob shut," Harry said with a shrug as they made their way towards the exit.

"Fair point, so what does this mean for Harry?" Sirius asked curiously.

"Not much right now, Voldemorts wrath is in Albania and won't affect him much, Harry said thoughtfully.

" What about when he returns to England?" Sirius pressed coming to a stop in front of the door.

"When Voldemort was close to me I would feel pain in my scar, when Voldemort was feeling strong emotions I would feel them and feel pain, a lot of times when my mind was relaxed I could see through his eyes. I guess the best thing you can do for Harry is to teach him occlumency," Harry said remembering his disastrous lessons with Snape.

"I'll have to see if Cissa can do that I am horrible at the mind Arts," Sirius said as he pulled out the cloak.

"Let's get out of here we can come back to seal off the chamber another time," Harry said not feeling up to it today.

"Okay we can take the one-eyed witch passage to get out of here," Sirius said checking over his map to make sure the coast was clear.

On the walk to the third floor Harry thought about what he had told Sirius, he had originally wanted to keep it to himself but had decided that Sirius deserved to know about this, he didn't want to do what Dumbledore had done to him and keep something this important to himself.

The trip to the one-eyed witch went by smoothly the only complication was squeezing himself into the entrance of the tunnel.

Once they had made their way through the tunnel and crossed the Hogwarts wards Harry turned to Sirius.

"Look I'm sorry I dumped all of that on you but I promise I will do all I can to get that thing out of him,"

"Yeah, I will too, Thanks for telling me," Sirius said softly still looking a bit out of sorts.

"Apparate to my place you can use my floo to go to Cissa's," Harry said getting a nod on return

Harry spun on the spot a disappearing with a soft 'pop'.

Peverell Beach House, Cornwall, 8/23/1982,14:37

Harry appeared on the beach in front of his house and was surprised to hear the sound of laughing children, looking Towards the ocean he saw the three Black sisters sitting in lounge chairs, Harry and Draco were playing in the sand under a large beach umbrella not far away from Narcissa, and he saw Tonks running from a wave giggling happily.

'pop'

"Good call they're all here," Sirius said from a few feet behind him.

"Yeah, why don't you stick around for a while you could use some sun," Harry said with a smirk as he started walking over.

"Oi," Sirius exclaimed as he followed Harry over to the group.

Over the next few hours, Sirius got back to his old self though Harry did catch him looking at his younger self sadly.

Harry spent some time with Bellatrix but she seemed a bit distracted for some reason.

Around three Andromeda and Tonks left to go shopping for school clothes much to the pink-haired girl's dismay, not long after that Sirius and Narcissa left wanting to get the toddlers cleaned up and fed leaving Harry and Bellatrix alone on the beach.

"Did you get the Horcrux?" Bellatrix asked after a few minutes of comfortable silence.

"Yes, I destroyed it there," Harry said reaching over to his discarded cloak and pulling it out of his pocket to show her.

"So all that's left is little Harry?" Bellatrix asked eyeing the mangled tiara.

"Yeah I told Sirius about that, he didn't take it well," Harry said sadly before tossing the diadem on top of his cloak.

"He did seem a bit off," Bellatrix said thoughtfully.

"I also asked him for his blessing," Harry said casually as he drew his wand and cast a silent summoning charm.

This was it he told himself as he tried to calm himself down.

"His blessing for what?" Bellatrix asked curiously.

Harry stood from his seat and knelt at Bellatrix's side, he raised his hand as the ring box flew through the air and deftly caught it.

Bellatrix was staring at him in surprise, her eyes were shining happily as he opened the box and offered it to her before he nervously asked her, "Bellatrix I know this is sudden but I know that you're the only one for me, will you marry me?"

Harry had never felt this nervous before in his life as he waited with bated breath for her answer

"Y-yes," Bellatrix said softly her voice coming out shaky, there were tears running down her cheek as she offered him her left hand.

Harry slid the the silver engagement ring over her ring finger and Bellatrix lunged at him catching his lips in a heated kiss, the force of her throwing herself at him overbalanced him and they fell onto the soft sand never breaking their kiss.
