Chapter 9 - BAB I.VIII : Strong And Angry Lightning

One day, in the Lightning Nation of Thor, there was a training ground where selected warriors were brought to train and become strong soldiers to protect the Lightning Nation of Thor from potential threats and enemy attacks.

Among the warriors was a 30-year-old veteran named Minshitar. Minshitar was a former general known for his strength, discipline, and fiery temper.

Minshitar was born in a village called Sarakh Alnasr, located in the northwest corner of Thor. He was the youngest of three siblings, with two older brothers, Minotaur (the eldest) and Judas (the second). Remarkably, all three brothers were born on the same date and year.

When Minshitar and his two brothers turned 17, they were required to complete a coming-of-age trial by bringing back the head of a golden bear from the Skandinavian Forest, a dangerous territory within the Dark Nation of Anubis.

[**FYI:** The golden bear is a ferocious beast with a unique elemental power that can turn anyone into gold simply by looking into its eyes with the intent to kill. For generations, the elders of Sarakh Alnasr have used this challenge to test the courage and maturity of the village's young men, deeming them adults only if they return with the golden bear's head.]

The three brothers embarked on their journey to the Skandinavian Forest, armed with their respective weapons. Minotaur carried a giant axe, Judas wielded a bow and lightning arrows, and Minshitar used a spear.

As they ventured deeper into the forest, an oppressive and eerie atmosphere surrounded them. Even though it was midday, no sunlight penetrated the dense canopy of the Skandinavian Forest.

While cautiously navigating the forest, the golden bear suddenly appeared and immediately attacked Judas, leaving him no time to retaliate with his lightning bow and arrows. Witnessing this, the eldest brother Minotaur was overcome with rage and charged at the golden bear with his giant axe.

However, the bear's unique elemental power activated, and Minotaur, filled with the intent to kill, looked directly into its eyes. He was instantly turned into a golden statue.

Now alone and horrified by the deaths of his two brothers, Minshitar devised a plan. He took the clothes of his fallen brother and blindfolded himself, rendering him unable to see the bear's deadly gaze. Minshitar resolved to fight the golden bear relying solely on his keen sense of hearing.

As the golden bear attacked, Minshitar dodged several of its strikes, although he sustained a few injuries. When the bear began to tire, Minshitar seized the opportunity to strike. He attacked the bear's eyes, blinding it and causing it to thrash about wildly.

With the golden bear now blinded, Minshitar removed his blindfold, skillfully dodged its erratic attacks, and positioned himself behind it. With a powerful thrust, Minshitar drove his spear into the bear's heart, killing it.

After slaying the beast, Minshitar severed its head and carried the bodies of his two brothers back to Sarakh Alnasr.

When Minshitar returned to his village, the sight was heart-wrenching. With his spear on his back, he carried Judas's body in his right hand and the golden statue of Minotaur in his left.

Standing before the villagers and his parents, Minshitar broke down in tears, mourning the loss of his brothers. The villagers and his parents, grief-stricken, wept with him, mourning the tragic deaths of their sons.

In that moment, Minshitar made a solemn vow to his late brothers: he would become a general and the strongest warrior in the Lightning Nation of Thor, honoring their memories with his strength and determination.
