Chapter 1 - What's Really Happening?!

"I didn't expect you to be someone like that! What a shame!" said a man with black hair and purple eyes who was staring intently at a girl.

"I'm so disgusted to have a sister like you!" Now it was her other brother who said such things to her, with a sharp gaze and a face that looked so hateful to her.

"Wait it's not my fault! It's not my fault!" the girl begged them not to say that to her.

"It's true that you're not what they say you are. You're much worse than that and that's why I chose her over you!" Even someone she loved said that which made her feelings hurt so much without him even thinking about it.

"You really are shameless! We don't even want to acknowledge you as our daughter!"

Her parents looked at her as if she was the most unworthy creature to be given mercy and pity.

All so dark and horrible, there was a cry for help from the girl when she saw all the flames surrounding her. The flames slowly touched her skin and burned her alive right in her own room.

While everyone was running for their lives, she was left helpless and dying in her room as the flames continued to envelop her body.

'Why did everything turn out like this? Why did this happen to me when it shouldn't have. I don't deserve all this for a mistake I never made...' she thought in her final moments.

Before she finally closed her eyes, her life was on the line and one thing she said in that final moment.

"You will realize your mistake. It's not me who should die in this state but her."

"Huh?!" I gasped in shock when I woke up after accidentally falling into a fountain.

My head hurt so much because it seemed to hit a part of the fountain. But I felt like someone had pushed me, because there was no way I could have fallen into the fountain myself.

When I looked around me, it turned out that I wasn't in a city park anymore, but a room that felt so foreign to me. I saw myself wearing a dress and on a bed that was so big and luxurious.

The room I was in was also very beautiful, decorated with many pretty decorations. Where was I?

Suddenly, the door of the room opened, and a woman entered the room carrying a container of water in her hand. When she looked at me, she looked very surprised and then ran towards me without caring if the water in her hand spilled.

"Lady Celestial! You've regained consciousness! Oh thank goodness you're awake Lady Celestial!" she exclaimed happily and then put down the water container while holding both my hands.

Of course I was very surprised because I didn't recognize the woman but why did she call me by the name Celestial? It felt like a familiar name.

"We were so worried Lady Celestial! Are you hurt? Is there any part that hurts?" She bombarded me with thousands of questions which made me feel confused as she kept calling me by another name.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but my name is not Celestial. You must have the wrong person," I told her.

However, she seemed confused by what I said, until she finally checked my body temperature by touching my forehead.

"This can't be right? You can't have lost your memory. Oh no! I have to tell Master about this!" She suddenly ran away from me, giving me hundreds of questions about who she was.

"Hey wait, don't leave me!" I shouted trying to call out to her.

But from her clothes, she was wearing a dress like a servant. Is she a servant in this house? But who owns this house?

I slowly climbed down the bed, trying to figure out who had brought me to this room. Do I recognize her or him? I didn't remember that I had an acquaintance who was so wealthy like this.

"Or am I being taken to the latest television program? Like they're setting me up this time?"

I was just a cashier at a coffee shop, and it was obvious that all my friends lived in small apartments too. So how could I be in such a big place now?

When I opened the door to the room, I found myself in front of a hallway that was so spacious and had very detailed and beautiful decorations.

"This place is so beautiful, it feels like I'm in a royal story novel. Or maybe the owner of this mansion is a fan of royal stories?" I muttered as I continued my journey to find someone I could ask.

I looked around me, worried if I would get lost in such a big place since I had never seen a place like this before.

"Hello! Is there anyone around?" I asked trying to call out to whoever was around.

I opened door after door, but I couldn't find anyone here. It felt like I was alone in a huge, endless mansion. Is this a nightmare? Or am I already dead because I bumped into that fountain?

So... This is heaven?!

"Ah no no! I can't be dead right? Then if I am dead, why are my feet still touching the floor?"

I tried to dismiss these thoughts, trying to remember the last time before I fell into the fountain in the city park.

I had just gotten home from work around 6pm, and was reading a novel I had bought a week ago. But I stopped in front of a fountain by myself, and for some reason my focus was drawn to the fountain.

"I felt someone push me, so I fell into the fountain and woke up in this place. I didn't understand what had happened."

Until I heard a pair of footsteps walking down the hallway near me. Hearing that, I immediately ran after the sound, hoping that there was someone who could help me. At least that person could tell me where I was.

Until finally I saw a man wearing a very luxurious, noble-like outfit standing right in front of the room where I was previously.

"Celest, Celestial! It's me, Lexion. Can I come inside? The maid said that you were awake. Please allow me to come inside," said the man.

Lexion? Again, the name was familiar to me. I looked at the man who had black hair and purple eyes.

When I walked up to him, he suddenly turned to me and looked surprised. So was I as he immediately ran up and grabbed both of my shoulders.

"What are you doing here? You should have stayed in bed so you could recover quickly!"

I tried to remove him from my shoulder. "I'm sorry I think you've got the wrong person, just like the previous woman who suddenly called me Celestial."

I saw his eyes widen as if surprised by my words, then he went back to holding my shoulders tighter.

"What are you saying? You are Celestial! You're the daughter of the Damanor family!"

Celestial? Damanor? Wait... I seem to remember those two names now.

I remember that that name was one of the characters in the last novel I read before I woke up in this place.

No... This can't be...

I released his grip from my shoulder and ran into the room, approaching a large mirror in the corner. And there I was shocked, when I realized who I was looking at right now.

A girl with dark blue hair, with purple colored eyes. Just like one of the characters in the novel named Celestial Esme Damanor!

The villain character from the novel.

The character that everyone hated so much.

"Don't tell me that I became her?!"
