Moran looked at Celestial in confusion when she suddenly said such a thing. He did not understand how she could say that when he never intended to hurt her.
This made Moran feel very worried about the state of his lover. They were not officially engaged yet, but their match had already been made and he was very happy that Celestial was his fiancée.
"Did I say something wrong? I'm so worried about you, are you sure you're okay?" he asked as he grasped both of Celestial's hands and looked into her eyes.
Trying to look for pain as well as something different in her eyes. And Moran found that there was a hint of pain in the eyes of the woman he loved.
'She's not usually like this, is she angry with me because a week ago I didn't come to see her right away?' he thought at the time.
"I'm fine, I'm sorry I suddenly said that because I just felt worried that one day you wouldn't love me anymore," Celestial replied.
Because that's what she read from the novel where she was at the moment. She fell into that novel and played the role of Celestial, the villainess who was hated by everyone. But right now she was still loved by everyone including her own fiancé.
But the girl who was currently Celestial, slowly thought that Celestial must be very hurt that her fiancé whom she loved and loved her so much would turn against her and choose her step sister and leave her.
'But it is not certain, whether it is true that Celestial really loves Moran or not. But from how Moran described their childhood, I can deduce how Celestial felt all along,' she thought as she looked at him.
"Why would you say such a thing? I can't possibly stop loving you, Celest," said the prince as he cupped her cheeks with both hands.
He did not understand why Celestial had become so insecure about their relationship. But Moran would not give up on making her feel better.
He felt that this was his responsibility, to make her feel comfortable again as usual.
"Will you still love me if I turn out to be nothing like the Celestial you remember? Will you still love me when everyone hates me?" asked Celestial in such a sad tone of voice. But her eyes couldn't lie if she begged Moran not to leave her.
"No matter what happens to you, even though you are not like the Celestial I know. I will still love you, because I know that when you are no longer yourself, there is one thing that you are hiding from me. And I know that about you very well," he replied while gently caressing her cheek with his thumb.
'Liar!' the look in her eyes portrayed something very painful, but she could not say it.
Although she was not a real Celestial, rather a woman who transmigrated into a Celestial's body, she felt that her feelings with Celestial were one. Especially when she knew that in the future Moran would betray her choosing to be with Eleanor.
Her step sister who is the main character in the novel, a girl who is deeply loved by everyone. When they currently dislike her, in the future they turn around and love Eleanor.
Not wanting to make Moran feel suspicious, or think bad things about her. Celestial just nodded her head, trying to smile even though she felt very sad if she could not change Celestial's original destiny in the novel by keeping Moran.
"Thank you, I will continue to remember what you told me. Promise me you will never turn your back on me to anyone."
He nodded his head and then slowly kissed Celestial, making her heart beat very fast because she had never felt a kiss before. Even in her original world, there was not a single man who would sincerely approach her.
She felt very loved, even though she was Celestial but now she was slowly accepting who she was.
"Moran..." She looked at him with such a happy gaze and a smile painted on her face.
"Celest, I will never stop loving you," he said then kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly.
Celestial returned his embrace, burying her face in his lover's chest at this time. She felt so loved, unlike when she was in her own world. She didn't want to lose this love, so she would try to change the ending of Celestial, which was her.
From a distance, a woman noticed the two of them making out on the bridge on the lake. From her eyes, she seemed to want the same thing: someone who loved her too.
She wanted a man to be hers just like how Moran and Celestial were. But for some reason in her mind she would definitely not be able to find a man like Moran, but maybe she could have him.
She then left before Moran or Celestial realized her existence, she knew for now she would not be able to compete with Celestial.
"Not now but someday."
After chatting about many things and spending time together, Moran escorted Celestial to her room because he had important business to do in the palace.
"I'll see you again another day, if you miss me you can come to the palace as usual. I will be very happy to see you then," he said as he rubbed Celestial's head.
They then separated where Celestial continued to watch Moran from where she was currently standing. Until finally his footsteps moved away and were no longer heard, she decided to go inside the room and rest.
"It turns out that you are very lucky Celestial, you can have someone like him. And I don't think I would let him to turn away from me to Eleanor."
She stood right in front of the mirror and looked at her own face there.
"If the beginning of all this hatred happened after he cheated on you with Eleanor, then you behaved badly towards her. I don't think I can blame you now for the pain she received."
She did not know if it all started with Moran cheating on her to create a story like the one depicted in the novel. Where Celestial did so many bad things to Eleanor because her step sister took Moran away from her.
But now she understood why Celestial did it. And now that things were back before the day when Moran became Eleanor's, she was going to change that path where she wouldn't let Eleanor take her Moran.
"This whole thing started from you snatching Moran from Celestial, making Celestial do bad things to you until it ended up that everyone hated her and preferred you."
"But this time I won't let that happen again, because I won't give up Moran for you. You might be able to have everyone's attention but not with my Moran."
