Chapter 14 - I need to prepare!!

As Lin Tian walked to his room, he suddenly remembered what Xiao Yue had warned him about before. "It's been a month," he muttered to himself, wondering where she might be. "Her brother will soon attack the sect," he recalled, his expression turning serious.

Lin Tian's mind began to racing with thoughts of the impending danger. Xiao Yue's brother was a formidable foe, a cultivator at the Nascent Soul 7th layer. Lin Tian knew that he couldn't take him on alone.

He thought about the sect master, who was currently in seclusion. According to the disciples, the sect master was at the Divine Transformation realm, a level of cultivation that was far beyond Lin Tian's current abilities.

If the sect master were here, Lin Tian was sure that Xiao Yue's brother wouldn't dare to attack. But with the sect master in seclusion, the sect was left vulnerable to attack.

Lin Tian's mind racing with thoughts of the impending danger, he quickened his pace, eager to reach his room and

Lin Tian muttered to himself as he sat on the bed of his room, his mind still reeling with thoughts of the impending attack. "All of our sect elders are only at the early stage of Nascent Soul, and some are at the mid-stage, but none of them have reached the peak stage or late stage of Nascent Soul. And my baby, Elder Lian... she should be at the early stage."

He shook his head, his brow furrowed in concern. "Xiao Yue's brother won't attack alone, that's for sure. He'll likely bring a group of powerful cultivators with him. We need to be prepared, but I'm not sure if we're ready for an attack of this scale."

Lin Tian's eyes scanned the room, his mind racing with thoughts of strategy and defense. He knew that he had to come up with a plan to protect the sect and its disciples, but he was also aware of the limitations of their current strength.

Lin Tian's eyes dropped, his gaze falling on the floor as he thought to himself. "Should I tell this to my love, Lian'er, and all the other elders? But they might think me as a fool... What if they don't believe me? What if they think I'm just being paranoid?"

He sighed, his shoulders sagging slightly as he weighed his options. "But I should tell this to my love, Lian'er. She will obviously believe me. She knows me, and she trusts me. But as for the other elders... I highly doubt that they will believe me."

Lin Tian's eyes narrowed, his mind working overtime as he tried to come up with a plan. "I need to convince them, but how? I need to make them see the danger that's coming, but what if they refuse to listen?"

Lin Tian took a deep breath, steeling himself for the task ahead. "Well, I should tell them and try to convince them. But if they don't listen... just let it be. I've done my part to warn them."

With a sense of resolve, Lin Tian focused his mind and called out, "System status."

Lin Tian gazed at the system interface for a while, his eyes scanning the various menus and displays. With a satisfied expression, he stood up and muttered to himself, "I should go hunt some spiritual beasts. If I want to earn system points and buy skills from the shop, I need to keep accumulating points. And with those points, I can update my cultivation and improve myself."

He nodded to himself, a determined look on his face. "Yes, that's what I'll do. I'll go out and hunt some spiritual beasts, and then I'll use the points I earn to buy new skills and upgrade my equipment. With the Heavenly Sword and my current skills, I should be able to take down some of the weaker spiritual beasts.

Lin Tian's eyes sparkled with ambition as he thought about the potential rewards. "I should probably try to hunt some Nascent Soul beasts too," he said to himself, a hint of excitement in his voice. "I'll earn even more points and experience if I can take them down. And who knows, maybe I'll even get some rare loot or treasures."

"It won't be easy, but I'm not going to let that stop me. I'll train harder, cultivate more, and prepare myself for the upcoming attack that Xiao Yue warned me about. I have to defend the sect and warn the elder later.

And then.

Lin Tian's thoughts shifted to Lui Mei, a fellow cultivator and my first friend. "But first, I should go visit Lui Mei," he said to himself. "I don't know how she's doing, it's been months since I last saw her. Is she in closed-door cultivation? And I don't know if Xiao Yue has told her about the upcoming danger."

He felt a pang of concern for Lui Mei's safety and well-being. "I should go visit her," he decided. "I need to make sure she's aware of the potential threat and that she's prepared to defend herself.

And who knows, maybe she's made some breakthroughs in her cultivation and can offer me some valuable advice or assistance."

After thinking for a moment ,

Lin Tian glanced out the window, noticing that the sun had already dipped below the horizon. "Oh, night has already fallen," he said to himself. "I should get some sleep first. Tomorrow, I'll visit Lui Mei and then head out to hunt some spiritual beasts. A good night's rest will help me prepare for the challenges ahead." With that, Lin Tian lay down on his bed, closing his eyes as he drifted off to sleep.
