Chapter 16 - (Lui mei ) Nightmares !!

Lin Tian's eyes quickly darted away from Liu Mei's naked form, and he tried to compose himself, feeling a mix of embarrassment and awkwardness. He didn't want to intrude on her private moment, but it seemed he had already been caught.

Just then, Liu Mei noticed his presence and turned to look at him. Her eyes locked onto Lin Tian's, and a hint of surprise and embarrassment flashed across her face. She quickly covered herself with her hands, her cheeks flushing with a deep blush.

Lin Tian felt his face grow even hotter with embarrassment, and he quickly looked away, trying to give Liu Mei some privacy. "I-I'm sorry, Liu Mei," he stuttered, feeling like he had intruded on something he shouldn't have seen. "I didn't mean to...I'll just leave."

But to his surprise, Liu Mei's voice stopped him. "Wait, Lin Tian," she said, her voice soft and gentle. "Don't go. I...I need to talk to you."

Lin Tian hesitated, unsure of what to do. He slowly turned back to face Liu Mei, trying to avoid looking at her naked form. But as he met her gaze, he saw something there that gave him pause. A look of concern, of worry, and of something else...something that looked almost like fear.

Liu Mei took a deep breath and began to speak, her voice trembling slightly. "Lin Tian, I need to tell you something. Something important."

Lin Tian's curiosity was piqued, and he leaned in slightly, his eyes locked on Liu Mei's. "What is it?" he asked, his voice soft and encouraging.

Liu Mei hesitated, her eyes darting back and forth as if searching for the right words. "I've been having these...dreams," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "Dreams that feel so real, so vivid. And in these dreams, I see...terrible things. Things that make my blood run cold."

Lin Tian's expression turned serious, his brow furrowed in concern. "What kind of things?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Liu Mei's eyes clouded over, and she shuddered. "I see the sect being attacked," she said, her voice trembling. "I see our brothers and sisters being slaughtered. And I see...I see you, Lin Tian. I see you standing alone, fighting against an enemy that seems impossible to defeat."

Lin Tian's eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling with the implications of Liu Mei's words. He had always known that Liu Mei was talented, but he had no idea that she possessed the ability to see into the future.

"Liu Mei, are you sure?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. "Are you sure that these dreams are real?"

Liu Mei nodded, her eyes filled with conviction. "I'm positive, Lin Tian," she said. "I've had these dreams for weeks now, and each time, they feel more and more real. I'm telling you, Lin Tian, something is coming. Something big. And we need to be prepare.

Lin Tian's mind was racing as he tried to process the information Liu Mei had just shared with him. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to this than met the eye.

"Is it related to that of Xiao Yue's brother?" Lin Tian thought to himself. "I was about to discuss this with Liu Mei after discussing with Lian'er... and did Xiao Yue tell Liu Mei about the upcoming attack?" Lin Tian wondered. "I guess she didn't."

Lin Tian's eyes narrowed as he thought about the possibilities. "But how is she having this dream related to the attack?" he thought. "Maybe she really can dream about the future... or Xiao Yue might have told her about that and she keeps thinking about it, which is why she's having these dreams."

Lin Tian's mind was filled with questions and doubts, and he knew he needed to get to the bottom of things. He looked at Liu Mei, who was watching him with a serious expression.

"Liu Mei, can you tell me more about these dreams?" Lin Tian asked, his voice gentle. "What exactly do you see in them?"

Liu Mei nodded, her eyes clouding over as she began to describe her dreams in more detail. "I see the sect being attacked," she said, her voice trembling. "I see our brothers and sisters being slaughtered. And I see...I see you, Lin Tian. I see you standing alone, fighting against an enemy that seems impossible to defeat."

Lin Tian's eyes widened as he listened to Liu Mei's words. He felt a shiver run down his spine as he realized the gravity of the situation.

"Liu Mei, when did you start having these dreams?" Lin Tian asked, his voice urgent.

Liu Mei thought for a moment before responding. "I started having them a few nights ago," she said. "At first, I thought they were just random dreams, but the more I have them, the more I'm convinced that they're trying to tell me something."

Lin Tian's mind was racing as he tried to process the information. He knew that he had to tell the Elders about Liu Mei's dreams, but he also knew that he had to be careful. If the others elder was involved in the plot to attack the sect, then Lin Tian didn't want to alert them to the fact that he knew.

"Liu Mei, I need you to promise me something," Lin Tian said, his voice serious.

Liu Mei nodded, her eyes locked on Lin Tian's. "What is it?" she asked.

"I need you to promise me that you won't tell anyone about these dreams," Lin Tian said. "Not even your master. Can you promise me that?"

Liu Mei nodded, her expression solemn. "I promise," she said.

Liu Mei's expression was puzzled as she looked at Lin Tian, unsure of why he was suddenly changing the subject. But as she saw the little shock expression on his face, she realized that he must have sensed something about her cultivation level.

Lin Tian chuckled, a hint of surprise still in his voice. "I didn't expect you to reach the 7th layer of Foundation Building so soon," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Last time I saw you, you were only at the 6th Qi Refining stage. I guess you did train and cultivate hard after we came back from the mission to retrieve the Moonlight Blossom herb."

Liu Mei's face flushed slightly as she looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. She hadn't expected Lin Tian to notice her cultivation level, and she certainly hadn't expected him to comment on it.

But as she looked back at Lin Tian, she saw that he was grinning at her, his eyes shining with approval. "You're really talented, Liu Mei," he said, his voice sincere. "I'm glad to see you're making progress."

Liu Mei's face flushed even deeper as she looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. But she couldn't help feeling a sense of pride and satisfaction at Lin Tian's words. She had worked hard to improve her cultivation level, and it was nice to know that someone as Lin Tian had noticed.

Lin Tian chuckled to himself as he saw Liu Mei's reaction, thinking that she looked quite cute when she was embarrassed. But he quickly shook his head, reminding himself that he couldn't afford to get distracted.

"I need to find a way to make her breakthrough to the Core Formation, at least," Lin Tian thought to himself. "To be safe, I don't know when Xiao Feng will attack the sect. We need to prepare in advance."

Lin Tian's expression turned serious as he thought about the impending danger. He knew that he had to come up with a plan to protect the sect and its disciples.

"I need to go check out Xiao Yue too, to see how she's coming along with her plan," Lin Tian thought. "But first, I need to go hunt some spiritual beasts so I can earn some system points. Maybe I can find a way to help Liu Mei and the others breakthrough."

Lin Tian turned to Liu Mei and said, "For now, let's focus on training. I'll visit you later and we can discuss more about your dreams and the impending attack."

Liu Mei nodded, her eyes still filled with concern. "Be careful, Lin Tian," she said.

Lin Tian smiled and nodded, before disappearing from her sight.

He reappeared outside the sect mountain, beyond the mountain range where the disciples trained. The air was thick with the scent of trees and the sound of birds chirping.

According to the sect's records, beyond the mountain range lay the Blackwood Forest, a place where spiritual beasts were known to roam. Lin Tian's eyes gleamed with excitement as he set off towards the forest, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

"The Blackwood Forest," Lin Tian thought to himself. "I've heard that the spiritual beasts there are quite powerful. If I can hunt some of them, I might be able to earn some system points and find a way to help Liu Mei and the others breakthrough."

With a determined stride, Lin Tian entered the Blackwood Forest.
