Winter laughed awkwardly at Ryan's comment. Unlike Winter, who felt uncomfortable with the focused attention, Ryan seemed quite accustomed to such situations.
As if unbothered by people's curious gazes, Ryan sat calmly, listening attentively to Winter's words.
Winter composed herself and revisited what Ryan had just told her.
"So, we're supposed to do all the usual tasks lawyers do, and on top of that, we have to personally handle things like evidence collection and on-site verification?"
"That's right. In other firms, clients usually gather evidence themselves. But our team's fees are not just a few times higher than other family law teams. There are at least one or two more zeros attached."
"That expensive?"
Winter exclaimed in surprise, and Ryan responded as if it were obvious.
