Sophie's POV
Paris was everything I had imagined and more. The city buzzed with life, and every corner seemed to tell a story. For the first time in a while, I felt lighter—like maybe I could breathe again. Hannah and I spent the morning strolling through the cobblestone streets, admiring the charming cafes and street artists.
"Sophie, I can't believe you brought me here," Hannah said, her eyes sparkling as she spun around to take it all in. "It's like a dream."
"You deserve it," I said with a smile. "Besides, I needed a break too."
"A break?" she teased. "You're probably already planning your next big project."
I laughed but didn't respond. She wasn't entirely wrong. My mind had been spinning ever since we landed, and it wasn't about work.
