Jung POV
I was busy arranging the gift when I heard noises coming from the direction Mei has just left in.
On getting to the guest room I saw a man standing close to Mei so called stepmother.
Not long after I decided to approach them a young boy around the age if 19 pushed Mei.
I intervened quickly by catching Mei Abruptly, I'm so relived I stood close.
I felt something soft creasing my chest only to figure out that, her body was pressed against my chest.
Her gaze meet mine. The moment she realized the posture we were but in, her face turned flushed.
"Hmm I-I'm sorry". She said not meeting my gaze.
"And who are you?". The young man who pushed Mei spoke up.
"I'm Jung Ling". My name is enoughto ring a bell in the Feng Family.
"And I'm here because she's my wife to be. I also find it disrespectful to raise your hands on at a woman. No, my woman". I once again lay claims on Mei in the presence of the Feng Family.
"You... You're the one who had an affair with Mei two days after our marriage". There's something fishy about him, how does he know when nobody could see my face due to the mask I had on.
"How do you know?". I asked him directly.
"I remember the man in the video never removed the mask on his face".
I have the CCTV footage of all activity that took place within the party venue.
"As you can see, your daughter was drugged and not only her but me". I paused the video at the point were we drank our wine and at the point when the drinks were being lased with some weird substance.
"Mei I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier". I regretted not telling her.
"With or without your consent, I'm still marrying Mei". I gave Mei stepmother an expression filled with mockery.
"Mei, I want you. I'm sorry I did that to you". I don't know what he's trying to achieve, but I know he won't succeed.
"I did it all for An Zihan". Who's An Zihan.
"Kant, I don't care anymore and she died in an accident. I had nothing to do with it". Mei was no longer fazed by this issue anymore.
"No, if you can't be mine, you can't be someone else. I simply loved it when you chased after me, it didn't mean I didn't like you". I watch him as he started approaching Mei.
"Stop it right now". Mr.Feng shouted at the top of his voice to get everyone to calm down.
"This is my house, all of you out". I can tell that he might get over worked up, so I decided to take Mei with.
"Let's go". I said signaling her to come to my side.
"Mei stay". Her father said.
"No father, the place I've been staying since last month, I'll go there". She turned down her father offer and walked out the room.
"Mr.Feng, I'll come another day to discuss about my marriage with Mei". I bowed and walked away.
I could tell that I'll be getting the silent treatment.
