Mei POV
I woke up early to get prepared for work. It's been almost a week since I last went to the company. I doubt I'll be allowed to live the house, but I'll try.
I stood in front of my mirror, then packed my dark black hair into a messy bun. Took a black fled skirt and wore a white shirt, this made my amber eyes stands out.
"Madam, Mr.Jung will not be joining you for dinner". Mr.Chau told me that Jung had an important meeting to attend, due to slacking off recently.
"Okay then, prepare my car". I didn't want to seem like a distraction to him.
"But Madam, if you don't mind me asking".
"Go on".
"I was strictly warned not to let you live the house". I couldn't before Mr.Jung restricted my movement.
"Don't worry I've already informed him". I lied to Mr.Cha u. I'm really sorry.
"Okay, have breakfast before living". Mr Chua said extending his hands to grab a hold on the door knob and lead the way.
After eating, I took my car and head straight to the Company.
"Good morning". The staffs greeted while bowing slightly.
"Miss Mei, I'm sorry I can't let you in". A young woman who apparently seems to be a worker of Starlings Company said blocking my way to the door.
"And why is that?". I was curious to know what was going on behind that door.
"Miss please". I pushed her out of my way, before walking to the office.
I got greeted by the wonderful view.
"Mei". Mr.Jung pushed the woman who was seated on his leg.
This woman is the same person who I gave my contact card to because of a misunderstanding.
"Mr.Jung, I hope I'm not interrupting something important". I was trembling slightly but didn't want him to notice.
"And you are?". I asked trying to calm the air.
"Li Ming and you owe me an apology". I observe every single expression Jung had. It's not that I'm jealous, I just feel like I'm being betrayed even with a baby on the way.
"Big brother Juju, she is the one who bullied Lili". She ways already in tears. What an actress.
"Li Ming, live this instance". Jung called her name coldly and asked her to live.
"No, why should I be the one to live. Clearly you have forgotten what I told you earlier". I didn't have time to watch the act unfold, so I simply walked out.
"Ahh". I bumped into a broad chest
"I'm so, forgive my clumsiness". I was about to walk away when the man standing next to me held me by the hands and said something shocking.
"You really do resemble my mother". He bloated out still hold on to my hands.
"I'm not sure I know who you're talking about, so let go". I remove my hands from his grip.
"Mei, let me explain". Arugh Mr.Jung caught up with me rather faster than I expected. I glared at the man who made that possible.
"So, you're the Mei he's been talking about". I get it now, they both know each other.
"I don't care, excuse me". I toldJung because he way blocking my way.
