"I was restricted from going out, your father had no idea on where I was.
After a month I was told to attend a party representing my Family and that if I were to succeed in being acknowledged by my father friend who was wealthy, I would be granted freedom". The story was longer than I thought.
"I got drugged and rapped by Mei's Father Yen Feng. I later found out I was pregnant, I felt horrible for cheating on my spouse. My mother took me to the Feng family to stay for good. I got in touch with your father after a year, I told him everything and if it weren't for the love he had for me I wouldn't be here". Wow, my mother had a long history.
"I kept seeing your father for 4yrs".she didn't finish speaking before I interrupted her.
"Didn't Mr.Feng oppose to your meetings?". I had to ask, how can he let it slide when she already had a child for him.
"Well... He had brought in a young woman when Mei was just 2, I didn't care. I would have left him but I didn't because I was waiting for Mei to turn five, so she could remember my face". I mother said with a look of regret written all over her face.
"So you left her when she was just five and, how were you able to be a part of my life during that period of time?". I know she loves me but, Mei is also her child.
"She spent most time with her nanny". How cruel.
"How cruel of you, if I hadn't asked, you wouldn't have told me this". I understand that she most have been in a tuff spot but, that wasn't enough reason to abandon her daughter. I didn't waste much time, I called Jung to inform him about the news I just got.
"Hey Xiang it's late, can't it wait until tomorrow". Jung said displeased from the other end of the call.
"No it can't, it's about Mei". I called Mei name to draw his attention.
"What is it". I heard curiosity flow through his voice. I knew he would react like this.
"Well, I just found out from my mom that Mei's my half sister". I didn't hesitate on telling him my relationship with Mei.
"What do you mean by half sister?". This news most be very shocking for Jung to take in.
"My mother had her with Yen Feng, the father of Mei". With this silence, I know he already understand what I'm saying.
"Please do not tell Mei, I want my mother to come explain why she did that and apologize for what she did". I don't want to interfere for now.
"Okay, I get it". With that said, Jung ended the call.
I walked into my room, took a shower before laying on my bed.
My thoughts was still on the fact that I was an elder brother. I'm glad and sad at the same time, Mei most have suffered alone in that family.
