Harmony was sitting on the same spot where Paul had declared that he already fell out of love with her.
She couldn"t imagine what happened to those years that they had shared. Why did the man feel that way towards him?
Paul had been her companion since she was teenager and the love that they had she thought would last forever.
So, she couldn"t really understand how the man could do this to her.
She let out a deep sigh.
She knew that there"s no sense of crying over spilled milk. Anyway, she needed to focus on her contract with Drake as his pretend girlfriend.
She thought that the man really needed her help because of how his rich family was treating him. Though, she couldn"t help but wonder why they were treating him like that.
"Harmony," Elisa called her. She"s one of her classmates on one of her masteral subjects.
"Hey," she smiled.
"Can I join you?" She said and then she noticed that she was carrying a tray with a coffee and sandwich on it.
She smiled."Yes, I am just alone anyway," she said and took a sip of her coffee.
"Oh, where is Paul?" She asked out of curiosity. "It seems like he is already getting busy with his theater activities," she added.
She just shrugged her shoulders. She didn"t know if Elisa was there because she was there or she knew something about what happened to her and Paul and she was just discreetly getting information.
She didn"t know but she could easily smell people who weren"t so sincere with what they were saying.
She looked at her wrist watch.
"Oh, by the way, I forgot, I gotta go.I need to meet someone," she said and then she stood up as she took the book on the top of the table.
It didn"t escape her eyes the strange reaction of the woman as she turned her back and headed out of the coffee shop. Why did she feel weird about Elisa? They had never been close so she couldn"t help but wonder why all of a sudden, she would approach her.
Well, she knew that everyone in the campus was well aware of her relationship with Paul who was a theater actor and probably, the woman was pretending and she already knew that the man already broke up with her.She might be right that she was just trying to discreetly get information from her about what happened to the two of them.
Harmony couldn"t help but shake her head because of that thought.
Why just some people can't mind their own business?
She let out a deep sigh while she was in front of the coffee shop. The truth was, she didn"t have anyone to meet. She just couldn"t stand to pretend in front of Elisa.
She would never know if the woman was a snake and she might just be getting some information from her.
She was standing and thinking where to go when suddenly a familiar sports car stopped in front of her.
The car window rolled down and she was not mistaken. It was Drake.
She couldn"t help but wonder why he was in front of her. Her eyebrows were knitted together because of confusion as she thought if she missed any of his message because he didn"t say anything about them meeting each other.
"Hop in," he said which raised one of her eyebrows.
She went inside since she didn"t know where to go.
"Why?" She immediately asked as soon as she buckled her seatbelt. She was sitting next to Drake.
"Let"s go somewhere romantic," he said.
"Are you asking me out for a date?" She said and her eyebrows were almost touching each other.
Drake shook his head and then chuckled.
And that made her feel pissed off.
"God, Harmony. We need to be on a date while we are pretending that"s why I am taking you to one," he said. "I am afraid that Aunt Carmela was already investigating and we really need to show them that we are real couples and we are not just pretending," he added."That makes sense to me. Next time please be clear because I already thought that you already fell in love with me," she said and this time she was the one who chuckled.
But deep inside her, she thought of how would Drake Villarama would love a woman?
The man could be rude and conceited but she could feel that he was someone who knew how to take care of people he cared for.
He could see that when his grandmother spoke and he realized that he was having an argument with the other members of the family in front of the old woman.
Drake loved his grandmother without any doubt. She could see it in his eyes. The respect that he gave to her was so clear.
And, the old woman deserved that because she was kind and understanding. If there was someone that she wanted to meet again, it would be his grandmother.
She"d love to play another piano song for her since she loved listening to classical music.
"Harmony, did I pass your standards? Or are you already in love with me?" Drake said and she didn"t notice that she was staring at his handsome face.
"Silly. Maybe you should think again. There"s no way that I am going to fall in love with you, Mr. Villarama," she said and then she rolled her eyes.
"So, why are you staring at me then?" Drake asked again with a teasing voice. It was pretty obvious that he was trying to get her pissed off but sorry to him because she couldn"t easily get pissed. She"s a master of nitpicking.
"It"s because I never saw any man who had that kind of long thick eyelashes. You look like a gay," she said and then smiled naughtily.
"What did you say?" Drake said to her. "Would you like me to prove that I am a man?"
