Chase lay still, his gaze fixed on Diana's serene, peaceful face as she slept. For a moment, he debated staying there, the warmth of the bed and her presence making it hard to leave. His body ached slightly, fatigue clinging to him, but the thought of getting up was more of an annoyance than a challenge. With a soft sigh, he finally pulled himself free, grabbing a pair of white sweatshorts, a black t-shirt, plain white socks, and some underwear.
