"You sure you still want to play?" Chase asked, glancing at Diana as she focused on the game.
She didn't immediately answer, just nodded, her eyes fixed on the screen. "Yes."
Chase sighed and stretched out on the bed, closing his eyes. "It would be nice if it were possible to see through my eyelids," he muttered, half to himself.
Surprisingly, he still could see the game, as if his eyes were open, even though they weren't. He blinked, touched his eyelids, and laughed quietly. "Well, that's... unexpected."
Diana, absorbed in her game, didn't seem to notice. "What?"
"Nothing," Chase said, though he sounded a little amused.
"He lay back further, hardly moving his hands, still easily keeping up with the game. Diana was putting all her effort into it, but Chase was playing without trying too hard, landing hits and combos effortlessly."
When the match ended, Diana tossed her controller on the bed in frustration.
