Hera jolted slightly as she sat on Zeus' lap, startled by the sudden intrusion. Zeus himself barely reacted, merely glancing at the door before sighing. Was he ever going to experience a moment of peace without some new crisis?
Diana and Aphrodite exchanged a glance, both surprised to see each other. Hera, too, looked at the two goddesses with raised eyebrows. Zeus finally broke the silence.
"...Why are you two here?" he asked, his voice calm but weary.
Diana was the first to speak, her expression carrying a tinge of anger. "Before I say anything, Father, I must tell you—I'm pregnant. But that's not why I'm here."
Zeus and Hera's eyes widened in shock. Hera muttered, "Pregnant?..."
Diana nodded but waved it off. "Like I said, that's not the reason I came. Apollo has simply gone too far, and he must be punished."
Aphrodite, realizing why Diana was here, immediately exclaimed, "I second that! He deserves no less than death."
