Vera had convinced him to go laid back down and passed him her phone so he called his driver from last night who had not returned yet.
''why would he think he hurt me ?" Vera muttered getting him a glass of water.
"Well for starters he bit your lip while you two where kissing " Eva glared back at her friend.
"Eva"
"What ?..how could you not tell me you two kissed ,after me finding you both in bed like that " Eva argued.
"Eva please not so loud " she said walking away.
Alec was on the call so she placed the glass and turn to leave so he could go ahead with his call, but he grabbed her hand stopping her.
"Wait " he mouthed .
So she sat down next to him as he finished his call.
"I will be home soon mother " he said hanging up .
He passed the phone back to her.
"Thank you " he said.
"Your mother ?" She asked.
He nodded.
"I guess she's worried about you ...I was too last night after seeing you like that " she explained.
"Am sorry for scaring you like that " he apologized.
"It's alright but can I ask what happened?"
Silence filled the room as she waited for him to reply.
"Can you give me sometime before I answer that question" he asked.
She smiled nodding.
"I understand " she muttered.
"Your moving?" He changed the topic.
"Ahh...".
"I saw the boxes and most of your things are packed".
"Well yeah, it's a long story but in short the owners want it back " she said.
"Did you find a place to stay yet?"
"Going back to my parents home " she said.
"Come stay with me"
"AHH..."
"We are married , why don't you move in with me" he suggested.
"But ...".
He stopped her her, "incase you haven't noticed rumours about us having been going around".
"About our marriage ?" She asked.
He nodded.
"They expected me to be married to Dalton and not you . So they are confused about how we got together " Vera sighed.
"I guess they are but it's you am worried about. Alot has happened since then and now that it has calmed down they are bound to start digging about it " he said.
"So if I move in with you ,won't it make it worse ?"
"No one can harrase you ....your my wife " he let out.
Vera gulped .

"Aren't taking this too fast ?" Eva whispered to Vera.
"What do you want me to do ..refuse ,after him doing what is stated in the contract" Vera muttered.
"I know and he might be a rich popular business man but to me and you his nothing but a stranger " Eva stated.
Vera whispered back, "A rich stranger ".
Eva smirked angrily.
"Come on ,I know it's not that convincing but I think I can trust him . After all his done for us ,we cant just not give him some credit " she convinced her friend.
Eva breathed pushing the last box into the moving truck .
"He has you wrapped around his finger after that kiss you shared "
Vera turned to her glaring.
"I won't deny that I didn't enjoy the kiss I did but that is it nothing more . And incase of anything I will call you " she promised.
Eva stood back and watched them leave .
She had sent off her best friend to a total stranger .
Vera had not told her much about his injury but she had noticed how careful they had tried to hide it from her.
"I hope I won't regret doing this " she stated.
