"Am sorry I didn't join you for dinner last night "
Alec took his seat to have breakfast with his wife.
She smiled.
"I didn't wake you up since you seemed to need it " Vera moved to where he was , serving him .
Grabbing his hand he stopped her , "You don't have to do that ,Vera. She will do it " he pointed at the maid.
"I think I do, am your wife and need to take care of you "
He let go of her and watched as she prepared his plate. Then sat down after with a smile.

"You didn't even call me to tell me what happened ?" Eva pestered her friend.
Vera ignored her , "Nothing happened "
"Nothing happened, I saw his car drop you off for work this morning and am pretty sure I saw him inside "
Verana sat down .
"Okay , alot happened and I might have messed up . I don't think my father in law will like me now " she frowned.
"Huh?what did you do ?" Eva asked.
After she explained to her Eva leaned back .
"Vera I understand what you did but I think you let your emotions led you , is this because of your father?":
Vera fell silent .
"You had promised your mother to go see that therapist but you never did " said her friend.
"I thought I didnt need her assistance "
"Yes you do and this incident showed that you do . I know your father did alot of bad things to you ..".
Vera stood up ,"But his not here anymore ".
"Yes .his not but the wounds he left on you still hurt . They are still causing you pain ,don't you see that " her friend pointed out.
A knock came at the door .
"Come in ".
"You have a guest " said her assistant.
"A guest , who is it ?" She asked.
"He won't say, all he said was that he was sent by your husband "
"Oh...let him in".
"He said he doesn't want to be seen incase it causes trouble for you "
"Then where is he?"
"In the parking area in a black car " reported her assistant.
"Okay , let him know I will be there " she said.
"Are you sure your supposed to be meeting anymore strangers ?" Eva let out.
"You heard her , it's from Alec so he must be his friend or something " she said grabbing her bag.
"Vera listen to yourself, do you trust him that much ".
"Eva , his my husband and one who has proved to be trusted so yeah am going down there " she walks to the door.
Eva is right behind her , "Alright before you go ,give your husband a call and ask if he really did send him".
"Okay " Vera pulled out her phone and made a call. He had given her his new number, but he didn't pick up . "Guess his busy and that why he sent the other "
"I don't know , yes his been good to you and all but we don't know much about him".
Vera chuckled,"says that person who let him take me away asleep before "
"That was different , it's not him but someone else who has come to pick you . And truthfully we haven't fully got to know all his acquaintances ".
"And if I don't go how will we" Vera opened the door and left .
"Call me when you get there " Eva said after her.
I don't know but I have a bad feeling about this one . She thought to herself.
