Verana was packing her things in boxes ,after the letter from the Willington's lawyer ,she had no choice but to agree.
She had not married there son so everything they had given to her family had to be taken back .
Now she was planning to go to her parents home since she had no time to look for a new place yet.
Her doorbell rang .
She had been waiting for Eva and her husband to come help her pack ,so she rushed off to the door.
When she did ,Vera was surprised to see Alec instead.
"Alec!?" She called his name.
"May I come in?" He asked.
She nodded stepping aside . He walked in almost stumbling .
Vera closed the door and grabbed his arm.
"Hi are you okay ?" She asked .
His face was pale and sweaty ,his left hand was holding something down on his belly.
Moving him to the couch she let him sit down.
Something was wrong with him , fully dressed in black .
"May I use your phone ,please ' he gulped painfully .
She nodded running to get it and passed it to him.
He sailed a number and called.
Vera moved to the kitchen and got him some water.
"It's was completed " he said on the phone.
Vera could hear the voice on the other side. It sounded like a woman.
"Am fine ..go back and report " Alec added.
"And you ...you where injured ,you need to be treated " the voice yelled.
"I said go back and report . I will be fine " he hang up.
Vera passed him the glass of water taking her phone back.
"Are you hurt ?" She asked
He took a sip and placed it aside.
"Do you have a first aid kit ?" he asked.
She nodded and ran off to get it and she got back ,he had striped off his jacket and shirt .
She stopped midday catching a glimpse of his perfect in shape body. The abs and muscles all in good shape.
But then she frowned when she saw his lower left abdomen covered in blood.
She rushed off to where he was.
"What happened ?"she yelled .
The cloth that had been there to stop the bleeding slowly fell off revealing how deep the wound was.
She turned opening the kit and grabbed guaze then moved to him .
Alec looked down to see her trembling hands andade and attempt to take it from her but she gripped it .
"No let me " she said .
Slowly she pressed on the cut and he groaned in pain.
"Am sorry ..I will be gentle " she breathed.
Pushing his hand to hold it in place ,Alec watched her bring in towels ,pillows and water then sit down next to him.
Dressing her hands into gloves ,she checked if the bleeding had stopped , then slowly took away the guaze. Wiped the cut with water ,dosed it with disinfectant and carefully bandaged it .
Every move was careful and precise .
She wiped the blood from the rest of his body and looked up to see his eyes slowly closing .
She laid him down and covered him ,then cleared up the bloody tools she had used.
"What the hell happened to you ?" She mumured to herself .
Then her doorbell rang .
