Vera moved to her door asking who it was.
He identified himself as Alec's driver ,slightly opening the door she checked to see his face.
"Thank God your here " she said recognising him .
She opened the door and let him in.
"Something happened to him " she said leading him to where Alec was.
He moved to where who's boss was, checking him and the injury.
"You did that ?" He asked.
She nodded , "am sorry it was the only thing I could do ,and i didnt know who to call aince i know nothing about him"
"Thank you for saving him, Mrs . Irvine" he said to her.
She nodded , "Vera...you can call me that "
"So what should we do now ?" She asked.
"Let him rest until he gains consciousness,then let him decide " he said.
"Okay , then can you help me get him to bed . It's alot more comfortable " she said.
With alot of care and difficult they got him to bedroom,laying him down .
She covered him and sat down next to him.
His temperature was raising, so she wiped his body.
"Is there anything you need ?" asked the driver.
"Oh maybe some drugs for his fever " she said.
"Alright ,I will get some " he turned to leave.
"Wait " she called.
"Anything else ?"
"I know I shouldn't ask but do you know what happened to him ?"
He sighed glanced at his unconscious boss then back to her.
"I think it will be better if he told you himself " he said then left.
Vera sighed.
"Guess I have to wait then "
He returned and they gave Alec his medicine then let him sleep.
"I need to go report to his mother ,please keep him safe" he said.
"I will " she closed the door and dropped to in the couch.
How did her evening turn into this. She grabbed she phone and found a text from Eva, claiming something happened and she couldn't make it .
She breathed.
"Am glad you didn't , how would you react to seeing me in bloodied clothes " she muttered .
Vera cleaned up all the stains in the livngroom, then went to her room to check Alec.
His fever was going down ,she wiped his sweaty body then moved to the bathroom for a bath.
Clean ,she changed into something warm.
"Your lucky I had not packed anything in my room " she said sitting down again next to him.
She was silent , gazing at his pale face .
"You where hurt and instead of going to the hospital you came to me ...why?" She questioned.
